We had the pleasure of working with Service Ministries for our wedding, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Amy Weiss Burke, with whom we coordinated our service...
s, was a delight to work with. She was easy to get a hold of, very nice, and straightforward, which made the planning process a breeze.
Our wedding officiant, Reverend Frye, was absolutely fantastic. He was punctual, funny, and incredibly nice, which immediately put us at ease. Reverend Frye made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire ceremony, and his warm personality added a special touch to our big day.
Overall, our experience with Service Ministries was excellent, thanks to Amy and Reverend Frye. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for officiant services for their wedding. Thank you, Amy, and Reverend Frye, for helping make our wedding ceremony so memorable!
Rev. Frye and Amy were easy to work with, give you lots of freedom (and support/assistance) when designing your wedding ceremony, and were easy to communicate with throughout the p...
lanning process. They were particularly fantastic during the rehearsal and the actual wedding ceremony, helping everyone get organized and making sure everything runs smoothly. Even when my DJ was unable to provide music for the ceremony as planned, they helped keep things on track and calm despite that huge unforeseen complication (which resulted in me walking down the aisle in dead silence…until my sisters orchestrated some singing from the crowd). My grandma (who had strong feelings about wanting me to get married at a church) even admitted to really liking Rev. Frye, and saying that my ceremony was better than most church ceremonies she’s been to. Highly recommend (and grandma approved)!
Rev. Roy Frye was wonderful to work with and made our ceremony 100% us! He connects well with people and offers the couple a guide with samples of readings, etc. so each couple can...
completely customize their ceremony! We enjoyed customizing our ceremony and Rev. Roy Frye made everything easy and helped making sure everything went smooth. Highly recommend Rev. Roy Frye as an officiant for anyone’s special day!

ork through the materials and create the ceremony of our dreams. My husband is Jewish and I am Catholic so it was important to create a ceremony that honored both of our religions and heritages. Most importantly to us was that the ceremony represented us as a couple and celebrated our family. With the materials provided by Service Ministries, we were able to create the perfect ceremony for us. After we chose the materials, we emailed them to Rev. Roy and he created a draft ceremony for us. He was very open to changes and wanted us to be very happy with the end product. I gave him a few suggestions and the returned product was perfection! It was such a relief to have the exact ceremony that we wanted to represent our love and union. During the rehearsal, Amy was able to wrangle our large wedding party and make everyone feel at ease. During the day of the wedding, Reverend Roy showed up early and even signed our ketubah. Reverend Roy was a total pro and was even able to roll with the punches when I realized that we forgot our wedding rings during the ceremony! Ha! Amy was so helpful throughout the entire process, she was amazing! We would highly recommend Service Ministries for anyone planning a wedding!

stions for how to choose elements for our ceremony. We were definitely trying to find a balance between religious and nonreligious elements, so it was so nice to be able to pick each specific element of our ceremony. On our wedding day, the ceremony ran so smoothly and fit who we are as a couple. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special!
Roy and Amy were absolutely fantastic! They were very welcoming, warm and inviting. Our ceremony was private with just us and our children present. They made it so intimate for u...
s. They did a great job thinking through every detail and ensuring each person at our ceremony felt like they were an integral part. Our ceremony was excatly what we had hoped for and more. We are truly thankful for Roy and Amy for making our ceremony truly memorable.

ntly got the sense that they truly cared to help make our wedding special for us. We met over Skype and in person to discuss our ceremony script and we were provided an incredible amount of helpful resources to assist with the planning process. We were looking to blend the more traditional religious ceremony with a more modern non-religious ceremony and they had all of the resources to accommodate that. In the end, Rev. Roy took our bare bones script and turned it into something so amazing and individualized to us that I cried happy tears when I first read it. Amy was super helpful during the planning process as well and she was around for our rehearsal to ensure the ceremony would go as planned. Our wedding was wonderful and we owe a great deal of credit to Rev. Roy for that - he even made my mother happy, and that's a near impossible feat of strength. I highly recommend Services Ministries!

arry out a personalized, customized ceremony that went seamlessly and were there for any questions along the way. Our day truly was special and Reverend Roy helped make that possible. Rev. Roy's personality helped make a stressful time much more relaxed - he can crack a few good jokes too ;) I definitely highly recommend Service Ministries!

olic & Protestant). Service Ministries allowed us to customize our ceremony to include specific readings, scripture, and prayers - and the result was a perfect mix of romance and spirituality. The ceremony is one of my favorite memories of the wedding day and I can't wait to watch the video to re-live those moments. You will not regret choosing Service Ministries - Rev Frye and Amy truly care about your ceremony and making it exactly what you imagine.

ot religious and that was perfectly ok with them! There were no religious aspects to our ceremony but there were plenty of options available. On the day of, we ended up having to move our ceremony inside after it had started. Any ran around quickly getting everything organized and gave me support when I got emotional. She also helped my fiancé pin his vest which was much too big to make it look more fitted. We are so happy we went with service ministries for our ceremony!

s, ceremonial outlines, and thoughtful suggestions for the ceremony. We were the first on both sides of the family to not get married in a church so wanted something professional and thoughtful. The ceremony conducted wonderfully and we received many compliments.

was amazing. He created a heartfelt, warm, and personal ceremony for our wedding while putting God at the forefront. The process of planning the ceremony is completely up to you, and the resources that are provided to you are extremely helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would recommend Service Ministries to everyone!

er we are not particularly religious. Rev. Roy offers services ranging from traditional to contemporary, and is extremely respectful of all views. Even without the religious elements our families said it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever been at!
I planned my wedding from 2,000miles away, and booked Rev. Roy immediately after speaking with him on the phone. Rev. Roy has written a book on being legally married in the state of Illinois, which I actually read prior to speaking with him. He feels it is important to educate people on the legalities of marriage even if you don't book with him, demonstrating his kind nature. Once you book, Rev Roy provides you with all of the materials to customize your ceremony, and you have full control over organization. I really loved all of his suggestions for non-traditional vows, and I cried like a baby when I repeated mine (and I am not a crier!). Rev. Roy is the way to go if you want a non-denominational Christian ceremony, from traditional to very contemporary.
Rev. Roy was great to work with for our wedding! He helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for our day. We had quick responses via email and phone calls. My husband and I aren...
't religious but he helped us make the perfect ceremony. We decided the day before the wedding to not write our own vows so we didn't go over what exactly we wanted our vows to be but he picked the perfect ones for us! They went along with the rest of the ceremony that we had chosen. Rev. Roy has a great sense of humor and really helped us relax when standing up there during the ceremony. Overall, our day was amazing and Rev. Roy made our day even more special - we are so thankful that we were recommended to him!

our reception venue and not at a church however we still wanted a religious ceremony. Working with service ministries we were able to customize the ceremony to be exactly what we wanted and it turned out phenomenally! The Reverend is great and although we found his service online and only met a few times the ceremony felt very personable. We received a ton of compliments after the ceremony about how great and beautiful the ceremony was. Cannot say enough great words about Service ministries and Reverend Frye.

rch. We’d also be lying if we said we are practicing Catholics so we wanted the ceremony to have modern elements mixed in with religion. Rev. Frye drove all the way from his home way outside of the city in a snow storm to make our first meeting which shows just how dedicated he is. After booking with him he provided us with so many materials to help us craft our unique and personal ceremony and everything went smoothly! Email communication was a little spotty after we booked, but nothing slipped through the cracks and after a follow-up everything was answered. We would highly recommend Rev. Roy Frye for your upcoming wedding!

We were very pleased!
He kept it short and sweet! Just how we wanted it. He was always available to chat and helped make our wedding day unforgettable.
I have to admit that I was really nervous to use a "rent a rev" as I have been to some recent weddings where the minister was embarrassingly horrid. However, I can't say enough go...
od things about Rev. Roy Frye and Service Ministries. They provided me with all the information we needed to make my religious/contemporary ceremony just the way we wanted it and with ease. I received gushing compliments from our guests some saying it was the most beautiful one they have ever been to. We were even running late and our planner told us we had to shorten our ceremony, Rev. Frye left that decision up to us which I am so appreciative of. Rev. Frye is sincere, warm, funny at appropriate moments, professional and will make you shine during your ceremony. I highly recommend him.
