Select Vibe DJ & Karaoke is 10/10 and I cannot recommend them enough. I went to a wedding where Select Vibe was the DJ and they were so great I hired them to do my wedding, and they did not disappoint. The sound system is phenomenal, Shawn is great to work with, and the lights make it very easy to dance your heart out well into the night. I recommend Select Vibe to everybody I know and I hope I get to go to another party where they are the DJ!

Shawn was amazing. I've known Shawn since my college days when we would host karaoke at my favorite college bar in Waukesha, so when it came time to planning my wedding, I knew he ...

was the exact DJ I was looking for from experience and seeing first hand how he can get a crowd going on the dance floor. After booking, we connected on a phone call about a week before the big day to ensure all the details were in place. Even though he is the DJ, giving me and my husband the freedom to choose music and give him a vibe to go off of ensured that our dance floor would stay packed, which it surely did. Shawn was amazing especially handing large crowds, but truly making the day coast. I could not picture my big day without him!

We first found out about DJ Shawn from a review from our coordinator from a wedding that they worked together previously. I was worried about booking a DJ and didn't really know wh...

ere to start, and after my phone call with Shawn I knew pretty instantly that he was going to fit our vibe well. There's a reason that Shawn has years and years and 5 star reviews – it's because he is AWESOME at what he does! The ceremony was perfectly mic'd and the reception was my disco queen fantasy come true. We are still getting compliments, weeks after our wedding, from our guests telling us how much fun the party was. As someone that was picky about a DJ and worried about making the right choice, I cannot recommend Shawn enough! Thank you for making our wedding the best EVER!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with DJ Shawn for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! From the very beginning, his communication was exc...

ellent- prompt, professional, and super easy to work with! Even though he hadn't done many Catholic ceremonies before, Shawn went above and beyond to understand exactly what we needed. He followed all of our instructions perfectly and helped make the ceremony feel seamless and meaningful. Cocktail hour we told him to play country/modern hits, and he did exactly so even without us providing a list. And for the reception? Absolutely unforgettable. Not once was the dance floor empty! He kept the energy up all night, played the perfect mix of music, and truly read the crowd like a pro. So many of our guest commented on how amazing the DJ was! Shawn announced all of our speeches, grand march entrances, and dances for us as well and knew the exact mood/lighting for us! If you are looking for a DJ/photobooth vendor, Shawn is your guy! Highly highly recommend!! Markus & Alyssa 09/06/2025

Sean was an amazing DJ! After meeting with Sean, he turned our vision into a reality, easily creating the vibe that we wanted for our wedding. From the ceremony, to dinner, to danc...

ing, Sean handled all transitions and emcee duties with ease. He was incredible at reading the room and getting everyone of all ages on the dance floor! Sean does not hesitate to pull out all the stops, from a fog machine (which unfortunately our venue did not allow), to accommodating a surprise karaoke moment. Hiring Sean was seriously a hidden gem and our wedding would not have been the same without him and his DJ skills.

Shawn is literally the best! His communication, professionalism and service is top notch. He was our DJ for our wedding this past weekend 8/16/25 and there wasn’t a time where the ...

dance floor was empty. It was packed the entire time. The lighting was amazing. He knows how to entertain the guests and keep everyone on the dance floor. He went above and beyond and played a voice over for me that I recorded for my husband before I walked down the aisle. He provided karaoke which made the night even more fun and as the Bride, he gave me DJ lessons and let me get on the decks which made for amazing photos. We received amazing feedback from our guests about how Shawn was an awesome DJ and that they wished their DJ for their weddings was that good. I highly recommend and will be referring him to all our friends and family going forward who get married. Thank you Shawn for being such an important part of our special day! I didn’t want the night to end!

I have often thought a lot about what my wedding day playlist would sound like and Shawn from Select Vibe DJ & Karaoke made that dream a reality. Shawn shifted through the twisted ...

metal of the internet to find several unique covers of songs we wanted and he did with a smile. A lot of DJs unfortunately just hit play and let the song run its course. Shawn does not do that, he mixes and mashes songs that collaborate so well with another that the dance floor finds you. He was an excellent MC also, using his personality to update and guide people throughout the evening. We highly recommend him and additionally my uncle who has been a DJ for nearly 50 years gave his stamp of approval. Your best move from here is to hope he's available on your special date!

Brooke F

DJ Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with. Incredibly friendly and helpful through out the process. Although our interaction was minimal leading up to the wedding rest assured...

you’re in great hands! Lighting provided was stellar once the dancing started and the balance of dancing/karaoke was spot on. We provided some must plays but Shawn was able to create the perfect playlist to accompany the evening and his hosting was nothing short of perfect.

Haley D

We truly believe that a DJ can make or break a reception so it was important for us to find someone that we thought would be perfect. We met with Shawn and very early on we knew he...

would be a great fit for us! When we met with him, we were told that he would be our DJ (unlike many companies where you are assigned a DJ a week or two before). He made the planning process so stressfree and took the time to get to know us! Day of the event, he was ready when guests arrived and made the night special. When the dancing started, there wasn’t a single moment that the dance floor was empty. The entire time, people were engaged, singing, dancing, and having the time of their lives thanks to Shawn! We had requested that songs blend from one into another and he came through, the music never slowed down, which kept the energy high. The transitions between songs were amazing. All night, people came up to me (bride) and groom to ask where we found the DJ and to compliment how incredible he was. One of our (married) friends jokingly stated he wanted to get married again JUST to have Shawn DJ. As we were leaving for the evening, the venue coordinator pulled me aside and let me know that Shawn is the best DJ they have had in years! I will always recommend Shawn.

Mary K

Shawn was absolutely amazing as a DJ. My husband and I had our wedding this past Sunday, and it was everything that I wanted. Shawn went out of his way to make sure our wedding was...

just perfect. He had a detailed survey, was communicative with my husband and I and did everything to make sure that our wishes were his top priority. My friends and I love dancing salsa and bachata. He ensured that we had a good mix of Latin music, and a bunch of fun wedding songs that get everyone on the dance floor (Sweet Caroline, Cupid Shuffle, you know the type)! The lighting was great, he created such a fun party atmosphere. My husband, friends, and I had such a good time tearing up the dance floor. I highly recommend Shawn to any couple looking for a fun wedding reception. :)

Dawn F

Shawn was absolutely amazing yesterday at our wedding. We have had multiple people tell us how great our music was. During our meeting Shawn got to know us and what our vision was....

We gave a lot of freedom and told him what our hopes were along with letting him “read the room”. He read the room and there wasn’t a moment throughout the night where people weren’t dancing. Would 1000% recommend him as your DJ.

Maggie B

Shawn was a premier vendor for our wedding. He was an excellent communicator prior to the day of the wedding. Shawn made sure to ask us thorough questions so he understood what we ...

wanted out for our wedding. Day of, Shawn helped to make our ceremony magical with his flawless execution of our selected music. And when the reception came, he had all of our guests out on the floor and dancing for the whole night. Shawn made sure there was a consistent lineup of top tier songs and made it impossible for people to want to leave the dance floor. Since the wedding, all of our guests have complimented us on how outstanding Shawn was, and we cannot put into words how appreciative we are for his hard work.

Kevin Q

Shawn was fantastic! I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about needing a DJ for our wedding, but I am so glad we brought Shawn in. He was so easy to work with leading up to th...

e event, and was a huge hit with all of our guests. I was very impressed with how he ebb ed & flowed the energy in the room to keep people excited, and knew just how to get people back on the dance floor after we had to pull everyone outside for our last send-off photos with our photographers. Bonus shout out, my wife's parents really wanted a few elements from their culture included, and Shawn was kind, respectful, & helpful through it all. It was a real pleasure working with him, and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends. Also his wife is a wedding planner, so if you happen to want both - they're a great duo!

Payton T

where do I begin? Shawn has been amazing to work with for the past 20 months over the first phone call where he really sold himself and his wife Lyssa who happens to be a wedding...

planner/coordinator. He was able to tell us all about him and his business and how he rocked it out on the dance floor! Throughout the 20 months he has sent videos and photos and stayed up to date and we had an amazing call the week prior to then truly making it a long lasting night till the very end with every song and keeping the dance floor alive. He truly is the best dj with the lights the combination of music and his MC experience is so perfect! He had the best announcing for our grand march and participated in our games with the bridal party! We could not have asked for anyone better!! If you are looking for a DJ to keep the dance floor alive all night with truly an all inclusive package he is the guy you are looking for!!! Forever grateful for him and his wife for making our wedding a perfect day!

Alexander N

We booked Shawn and Select Vibes DJ after hearing him play at another wedding. We had a blast at that wedding and knew he would make our day just as special. He not only met but ...

FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. Meeting with him was easy and was very organized. We did the final meeting one week before the wedding to keep things fresh. While that did lend some anxiety to me for checking off those to-dos, the result was absolute perfection. He does a great job with the music for our ceremony, our cocktail hour, and the actual reception. He played every single song we had previously requested and was able to match our musical taste exactly, playing songs we loved but had forgotten to request. He had his own transitions and remixes of classic and popular music that pulled everyone to the dance floor. I honestly think I spent the whole night on the dance floor outside of bathroom breaks, and the floor was NEVER empty. I would highly and enthusiastically recommend Shawn and Select Vibes to everyone looking for a DJ!
