Seedling Photography

our special day! I have nothing but positive things to say about Jess and her team at Seedling Photography. My husband and I met with Jess before retaining her to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. From the second we sat down with her in that initial meeting, it felt like we had known Jess our entire lives. She is a professional, yet also makes you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. She doesn't pressure you to work with her, but instead provides sound advice on what qualities are important to look for when choosing a wedding photographer. After that first meeting, it was a no-brainer for us to choose Jess. Her wedding package included engagement photos, which she happily traveled to our neighborhood across town to take. She not only allowed us, but strongly encouraged us, to incorporate our Bernese Mountain Dog in our photos. Jess did a phenomenal job capturing our love for him while also managing his rambunctious personality. Once we saw her phenomenal work on our engagement photos, capturing our own personalities and love as well, we could not wait to see our wedding gallery. Flash forward to our wedding day, where Jess and her team captured our day more beautifully than we could have ever imagined. Jess's package, and the add-on of an additional hour, was worth every single cent. Seedling Photography's art is timeless, capturing traditional portraits and also candid, unique moments. The quality of their work is top-notch. We are so ecstatic for the gorgeous gallery of photos we have to look back on for the rest of our lives. In addition to phenomenal art, Jess and her team are a dream to work with. Like our pup, they managed our rambunctious bridal party well, made them comfortable to show off their personalities in photos, and kept them on track throughout our wedding day. They also worked seamlessly and professionally with our other vendors. Jess kept us laughing all day long and made sure that our special day was stress-free. For that, and everything else amazing about her and her team detailed in this review, I cannot thank her enough!

hings moving along and helped corral whoever we needed behind the scenes but never allowed us to worry about a timeline on the wedding day because she had everything covered. She is so upbeat and present for more than just the wedding day. She went above and beyond before and after our wedding day and I can’t imagine hiring a better person to be present and capture our most special moments.

s important to us on our big day and our photos reflect that. I could not be happier with our pictures or with JESS!

could NOT have been happier! She is SO easy to work with, and not to mention her photos are so amazing- super natural and bright! She really listens to what you want your photos to look like and is so personable it was like working with a friend. Would highly recommend Seedling!

ture. She interacts with guests kindly and really can get a rowdy bridal party to pay attention, not to mention her work is stunning. Jess helped make my wedding day perfect. She is a MUST hire for any wedding or event. I could not adore her, or my photos more. Thanks Jess

with, and we received our beautiful pictures from both the engagement shoot and the wedding day in a very timely manner. Our families and wedding party loved her, as she took the time to learn everyone's names, and made the photo sessions really fun! She really made us feel special and took great care into making the day and photos about us. We feel so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with her!

may include stopping traffic on Broad Street for a good shot)! She is there to make sure your train looks good, hold phones so pockets aren't bulging, and make absolutely beautiful art to tell a love story. I can't express enough at her amazing skills in a variety of settings from park/suburban to urban, the work she creates is amazing. She is flexible in adjusting to match your wants throughout the day. And, if you're like me and you don't know what you want - she guides you along the way. Thank you, Jess!!

rk with and made us feel comfortable in front the camera - something that doesn't come easy. If we did it all over again, Jess would be the one!

p of things. They helped organize our crazy family and kept the day flowing. They gave us the sneak peak photos the next morning. I am so excited to see all out photos. You will not regret hiring these amazing photographers.

gagement shoot. We weren’t going to have an engagement shoot but since it came with our wedding package we got to! It was raining off and on and I was miserable in my heels running around downtown Delaware, but you would never know because the photos are GORGEOUS! She gets them back to you very quickly. She’s so approachable and easy to talk to. During my wedding, I was hot and felt super anxious and was not feeling pictures, but she pushed me (in a good way) to get amazing photos! After the special day, everything is just a memory. But with our photos I will be able to forever remember all of our special details. There were SO many pictures that were a surprise to me. She’s sneaky and super talented!! She’s the best and you will not go wrong with Seedling Photography! Highly, highly recommend! Thank you so much for everything, Jess!!! :)

loved her and her work. We didn’t even have a venue yet, and Jess was trying to help us figure out the best venue and setting for us without even needing to. She went above and beyond throughout the process, even with a huge pandemic going on!! Not only are Jess and her team absolutely amazing people, but the photos are breathtaking. The experience they have in the industry is very clear when those cameras snap. She helped to guide us in our wedding day timeline, helped keep the day going, and made sure to create magic wherever she could. Besides the whole getting married part, Jess was truly the best part of our day! I can’t say enough about her and how great she helped and made us feel behind the camera and without it. Do not book else where, I promise you won’t regret it!!

r back in 2018, and she immediately connected with us and made us feel like old friends. From our engagement session, to our "mini-mony" in 2020, to our postponed party on our one year anniversary in 2021, Jess was a dream to work with. Her creative vision is unmatched and she executes it perfectly while being a joy to be around. Her work ethic is unbelievable and the personal touches she adds to her work are so special. While Jess normally shoots weddings with her husband, Dave, she was accompanied by Luis to our wedding, who was just as professional and fun to be around as Jess. We can't stop raving about Jess and can't recommend her enough!

ford to lose her as our photographer. Made the bride feel very special throughout the day. And really added a lot to our wedding. She was the most talked about by the guests as well. Not to mention the photos she takes are absolutely stunning!! Very creative, and is able to capture the life of the party! 10/10 across the board! Jess is an absolute delight!

s PERFECT. You can obviously already tell how incredibly gifted at photography she is(I mean just look at those photos), but what you get to experience by hiring her, that is what I am here to tell you about. Jess will make you & everyone around you feel special, which takes a special person to do that! She truly cares about you and will execute your vision and emotions better than you ever even imagined. She and her assistant made my Husband and I feel so incredibly comfortable and happy on our wedding day, I really can't imagine anyone being better. She's so fun and energetic, but also so calm and cool... she really is everything I needed on my wedding day & more. Since we received the photos we can't stop looking at them because it captured the day so absolutely perfectly- from the big moments to even the small ones I didn't remember but now get to because of her! The wedding party and even guests have still not stopped mentioning how great she was, and how she managed to even remember everyone's names(&we had a huge wedding party!!). It is just one example of how personable she is, and how much she cares. I could continue to go on and on about how great she is, but just meet her and then you will know for yourself!!

dding process. Leading up to the wedding, she sent regular check-ins to make sure we were getting exactly what we envisioned for our day. On the day of, Jess and Dave easily blended into our wedding prep that was already in progress when they arrived; they arrived around 2:30pm for our 6pm wedding. They were flexible and encouraging as we navigated the day and were true support people. I didn’t realize how much time I would spend surrounded by our photographers on the wedding day. Having both Jess and Dave on site added even more laughter, love and fun. They are an effortless team and … honestly… they were the people I NEEDED to be surrounded with during that high stress day. They helped my partner and I find the fun and reminded us to enjoy every moment together. They captured moments that I will remember for a lifetime. The photos themselves are breathtaking. They caught so many details that I hope to never forget. It feel impossible to pick a “favorite” because every photo contains the memory of a deeply special moment in our lives. I will cherish these photos forever. Jess goes above and beyond. Her photos are out of the world. And I can guarantee that you will not regret a single moment when working with her!

nd Dave were so professional, creative, talented, and friendly. Everyone at the wedding loved them! It is so important to have a photographer on your wedding day who not only is talented, but is also someone you trust to have fun with! So much of the day is spent with your photographer; we couldn’t have been more grateful to spend so much of such a special day with equally special people. The photos are gorgeous, breathtaking, and reflect my wife and I perfectly.

d all of our bridal party and family commented on that throughout our day - everyone loved working with her! She is an artist and truly amazing at what she does. We are totally in love with our wedding gallery. She truly captured the magic of our day! She is not only our photographer, but has become our dear friend! ❤️ Thank you again, Jess & Dave!

ided to book Jess for an hour for our mini-ceremony! She shot some amazing photos of what we refer to as “wedding 1” and even joined us for some extra pictures around town! A year later we were able to have our big ceremony and reception. We knew Jess was awesome already, but our experience with her on our wedding day was amazing! She was so organized and knew where to take us for the perfect shot! When we saw our wedding photos this weekend we were blown away. She captured so many emotions and shots that tell story, while also getting tons of great portraits. Since sharing the photos with family and friends the response across the board has been “wow”, paired with requests for the name of our photographer!! Jess is very talented! And she is equally kind and genuine! I highly recommend Jess & Seedling Photography!!!!!

She stuck by our sides during our covid reschedule last year and was always someone we could turn to to lift us up. We highly recommend her and can not wait to work with her in the future for more special memories :)

ely organized throughout every step which made the day so seamless.

ent out of her way to ensure we got the shots we were looking for and was always around when we needed her. Our photos turned out amazing and we could not be happier to have hired Jess for our wedding. 10/10 would recommend

she came ready to find good places to shoot, she was on it with good poses to strike, and she came to us at the best times to take pictures of us. She also got some shockingly nice photos of our guests that we hadn't expected. Our pictures were ready less than two weeks after our wedding too, which was faster than we would've guessed too :) All-in-all, we couldn't recommend Jess enough! 11/10, 6 out of 5 stars, 50 thumbs up.

nsive, knowledgeable, easy going and organized. Jess is all of those things on top of being extremely talented. She caught all of the big AND little moments of our wedding. Just looking at the photos reminded me of how I felt in each moment. Not to mention Jess is just the best, most caring person. 2020 was a difficult year to plan a wedding and Jess checked in with us just to see how we were holding up and to ask if she could help with anything. She was just as caring and helpful on the day of our wedding. I highly recommend her!

ived my wedding gallery, she always was always on top of every single detail and task that you'd never think of that needed to be done. She was very supportive and helpful, whether it was from suggesting wedding dress shops, invitations, or hair and make up. She checked up on me, making sure I had enough resources and support through COVID. My wedding day exceeded any expectations I had and was beyond imagination for what I could have imagined. She captured every single moment. I would have never thought pictures would make us smile over and over again about our big day, but every time we look at them, our smiles get bigger and bigger. The love she shows in her photography is radiant. I HIGHLY recommend her the video option. It is a great way to have a little bit more than just picture memories. When we watched the video with Jess, we laughed and cried. It was so beautiful. She is so incredibly talented. We are so thankful we found Seedling Photography! Our big day could never have been the same without Jess. We are looking forward to supporting her and her business down the road when we need family pictures!

ss came on time, she was very sweet, easy going and extremely professional . She was quick, efficient and yet, she does things with a big heart . She has great people's skills and working with her was just a pleasure. My daughter's wedding was restricted this year to only Church ceremony and the actual reception will take place in May 2021. We already requested Jess to photograph this event . If someone wants a high quality, professionally done pictures, please reserve her services. You will never regret . Working with Jess will bring you a lot of joy and fun.

e enter year 15 of our marriage that I can place myself in that very spot over and over again! We are blessed to have had such an attentive pair of photographers be be a part of our day! Looking forward to being their subject AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE! Choose Seedling Photography for your wedding. You won’t regret it.

und something special in Jess & Dave. They really wanted to get to know us and our love story — very personal, genuine, good people. The best part? They are as equally talented as they are kind and funny! Everyone at our wedding raved about our photographers and the pictures are breathtaking (I’ve cried many tears of Joy reliving our day). I really can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to finding all the reasons to use them again in the future! xo

that was exactly what we wanted. She also was willing to work with my mom and stepmom to get them exactly what they wanted as well. We are ecstatic about our photos and the ways they are now displayed all thanks to Jess. Don't hesitate to pick her for any photography needs!

nd groom to a tee! She was there for every second, every smile, every tear and was so personable and a blast to work with (she even helped put in the bride’s veil when we couldn’t get it to stay). I highly recommend Jess for any special event you have! She made this wedding day even more special than it already was and now we have the best photos to relive it for a lifetime! I know my sister and her husband couldn’t praise her enough for making this day so special for them !

ery detail, one step ahead, thinking and doing things I would have never thought of. She is experience and organized but these qualities are second tear to her talent. Jess has a vision and an eye with a camera.m that makes her such an amazing artist. My wedding day exceeded my expectations and was beyond beautiful what i could have imagined, I would have never thought the photos would continue to exceed these expectations and perfectly document our special day. I HIGHLY recommend her unique option of the video highly reel. It is a great way to have a little bit more than just photo memories but is a way to avoid the hefty price and lengthy footage of a separate hired vide photographer. Thank you Seedling for making our day everything it was and allowing us to remember it that way forever!

She did an amazing job with our engagement session, suggesting we reschedule when the heat index was over 100 degrees, keeping us calm when we locked ourselves out of our car and getting our pictures back to us even faster than we could imagine. We cannot wait to see what magic she works for us on our wedding day!

If you want a photographer who is not only extremely talented but also personable, and fun... Jess is for you!

utiful location for us to shoot instead. We were able to travel to the new park and get all the photos we wanted before the sun went down. It was such a comfortable and fun experience.. and our photos turned out great! So exited for her to capture our wedding day next year!

e. We absolutely love the pictures she took and can’t wait for her to take pictures at our wedding!

is important to us...and then capturing those moments beautifully for us. For someone who doesn't particularly enjoy having her picture taken, I can attest to Jess' ability to put you at ease and making it fun! From precious photos of our furry son during the engagement session, to the four (yes, 4!) flower girls, to the moment we were announced as Married, to the celebration that was our reception, she and Dave did a fabulous job of creating the perfect memories of our wedding. We are so delighted with the photos that we had a hard time narrowing them down for the album. We definitely recommend Seedling Photography!

ally capture the whole day. We were SO GLAD we found Jess. Her and her husband, Dave, are so easy to work with, fun, professional, and truly have an eye to capture those special moments you didn’t even know were happening. I cannot stop looking at our photos! Everything from the candids, to the formal church portraits, to our beautiful portraits of the two of us turned out amazing. She captured our day perfectly. I would recommend her 1000 times over to any of my friends getting married. She is also super responsive to questions/emails/etc, which is really helpful during the planning process. I had some last minute changes and changed my mind about a few things, but she was flexible and always willing to work with us. Thank you Jess for capturing these memories!!!

edited or artsy. Her upbeat and fun personality made her such a fun addition to our wedding day - she felt like a member of the wedding party! We loved that her husband Dave was able to shoot the guys photos at the same time as the girls which worked great with the timeline. They both took amazing photos that really captured how we felt on that day. Several of our guests commented on how great they were on our day and we are thrilled with how the photos turned out.

d her husband at the engagement photo session. She and her husband are true professionals! They have a way of making people feel so comfortable. The wedding photos are beautiful! I love that Jess's husband can capture photos of the groom and his groomsmen while Jess works with the bride and her bridesmaids prior to the wedding! Both worked incredibly hard and captured so many special moments yet stayed in the background and were not intrusive. They are the very best!!!

by her work. The timeline she made us for our photographs was the one we used to plan out the rest of our day of events! Jess was always reachable and constantly checked in to make sure things were going well. We got our gallery back so quickly and couldn't believe how magical the pictures were. We have gotten so many compliments on her talent from guests and friends we have shared the pictures with. Her husband Dave was the best assistant on the day of and also helped to capture some amazing shots. I loved her so much I even booked a separate shoot with her on my own! :) Jess, our day wouldn't have been the same without you capturing it. Thank you so much--we love you!

tured some of the last photos ever taken with my Dad , and our family all together . She knew a bit of our family’s story coming into my sisters special day, but the way that she handled the delicate needs of our family , while beautifully capturing the entire essence of what my family , and my sister and her husbands love was all about, really blew me away . She is a gifted gal that truly sees something far beyond the lens and the filter of her camera . We were lucky she was ours on that day , and she gave us something in those photos that we didn’t even know we needed . She’s as lovely as she is gifted , and her photos were just icing on the cake . . No other photographer I know (and I’m a Wedding hairstylist - so I know a few ;) ) could have done that day the way she did . She REALLY is the best . .

d Dave. Upon meeting Jess for the first time, she was punctual, prepared, and full of enthusiasm. As overwhelming as engagement and wedding photography feels, Jess had all the framework and creative ideas a bride could ask for. The engagement pictures were not only beautiful, we felt at ease, and had a ton of fun. She was very flexible helping out with questionnaires for the big day and providing support along the way. On the big day, Jess and Dave effortlessly captured not only the tender moments between family , but the personalities of both my husband and I. Dave and Jess both shot the wedding day independently and captured the moments from different angles. These two artists were very flexible with the changing needs of our bridal party and our families. The quality of the pictures and wedding video exceeded our expectations. Jess and Dave are truly talented and took great pride in sharing our unique story. I highly recommend Seedling Photography.

y won me over. Throughout our wedding planning process Jess checked in with us to offer help and advice. On our wedding day she kept us on schedule and found the most perfect spots to take pictures. Most importantly Jess and her husband delivered stunning pictures that we’re still receiving compliments on. Jess went above and beyond in her role as a wedding vendor and will be our family photographer for life!

was able to talk to her about what I had in mind, and what was most important for me. Looking through my photos after the wedding, I felt like she made my story come alive, and told it through her photos. Jess is passionate about what she does and brings an artist's eye to her work, capturing those unforgettable moments, and even some that you may have missed had you not seen them come out in her work. Thank you Jess and Dave for your wonderful work!
