We hired Joe for a wedding-like ceremony a couple months after our wedding, so we already had an idea of what kind of party and music we wanted. We gave Joe the playlist, which included some Indian music, and he handled it so well, my family was dancing the whole time and he transitioned back and forth between western oldies, indian music and modern dance songs. We also hired Joe to MC the event and he was great with that, we gave him a couple of points we wanted (we're being introduced at these points, we're going to play this slideshow,...) and he got it done. Last minute, my wife wanted to do a Singaporean toast that most people have not heard about, and that day Joe listened to what it was and he explained it to the crowd and it turned out incredible. I would definitely hire him again!
We had our wedding at Villa Barone in Mahopac in August. Joey knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept everyone dancing from beginning to end. The retro setup was so cool! We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was too.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Sector Black Productions to anyone looking for an amazing wedding DJ!
