About this vendor
Seascape Flowers is a family-owned floral studio based in Aptos, California, specializing in wedding flowers, event florals, and flower delivery throughout Santa Cruz, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, Napa Valley, and destinations across Northern California.
Inspired by the natural beauty of California's coast and wine country, we create thoughtful floral designs that feel both organic and refined. Our work is rooted in seasonality, beautiful flowers, and a deep understanding of how florals transform a space.
We have a deep appreciation for locally and regionally grown flowers and work with the seasons whenever possible. Much like shopping at a farmers market, the best ingredients are often the ones at their peak. By embracing seasonality, we're able to design with flowers that feel vibrant, expressive, and connected to the moment.
Founded in 1990, Seascape Flowers has been creating flowers for weddings, celebrations, and everyday moments for over three decades. As a family-owned business, we believe great design begins with great relationships. We take the time to understand each client's vision and guide them through a collaborative process that includes custom proposals, floral inspiration, thoughtful planning, and full-service installation.
As a full-service wedding and event florist, our team designs every floral element with intention, from personal flowers and ceremony florals to reception centerpieces, custom installations, and immersive event environments. We believe flowers have the power to transform a space and create experiences that feel memorable, welcoming, and deeply connected to the celebration.
We regularly create custom floral structures, statement ceremony designs, hanging installations, floral ceilings, escort displays, and layered tablescapes. Whether we're designing a romantic garden ceremony, a dramatic reception reveal, or a multi-day wedding weekend, our goal is to create an experience that feels cohesive from the moment guests arrive.
Our portfolio ranges from lush garden florals and coastal California celebrations to modern installations and immersive event design. We approach each event as a collaboration, creating designs that feel personal and true to each client.

Darcy is truly a master of her craft. You can see it in her floral creations, but also in the way she talks about and her knowledge of flowers. We loved her style from the beginnin...
g, after learning about Seascape as a recommended vendor from our venue in Carmel Valley. We were looking for a soft, unstructured, and romantic garden look to compliment our overall vision, and she absolutely nailed it! I remember when we showed up for our centerpiece mockup meeting, she had the design complete and ready on the table for our arrival. My husband and I sat down, spun it around a couple times and declared instantly that it was perfect and matched our vision to a T! The only thing we changed was the vessel the florals were in, but we truly couldn’t find a single other thing we would change about the flowers and the way it came together. We spent most of the session learning from her about the different types of flowers (were talking genius and species level of knowledge… she seriously knows so much!) and exploring the greenery that can double as garden herbs :) I couldn’t recommend Darcy more for anyone looking for event floral. We loved working with her and would love to find an opportunity to do so again in the future! Thank you Darcy!
I was absolutely blown away by the flowers Darcy and her team provided. They knew exactly how to create what I was envisioning and Darcy was great at giving advice and helping me t...
hink about the details for the day to tie everything together. I'm so happy with how they did our mandap. It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and for all the photos we took with our guests. Thank you Darcy and team!!

ck elegance, and Darcy so far exceeded our expectations. Every piece, from our chuppah to the smallest bud vase, was approached with intention and artistry. The arrangements served not just as decoration but as an expression of who we are as a couple and set the tone for our event. When we met with Darcy at her charming studio for our consultation, she was incredibly collaborative and seemed genuinely appreciative of our perspective, which gave us the utmost trust in her to realize our vision. So many of our guests shared with us that the floral design was the most beautiful they’d ever seen at a wedding. We are so glad we had the chance to work with Darcy and could not recommend her and Seascape Flowers more highly.
Seascape made my wedding the most gorgeous wedding ever. The florals were unmatched. I had so many guests come up to me and compliment the florals. The venue looked like it popped ...
up straight out of a garden after they were done putting it together. Our arch was just stunning, my bridal bouquet was perfect. I am SO happy I decided to go with them and didn't skimp on anything. They are absolutely worth the cost and go above and beyond to make sure your big day is stunning.

beautiful.
I had a wedding that was impacted by COVID and by the time I had my consult with Darcy about our florals, I had decided it was best not to put too much time into planning in case I had to postpone a second time or worse, cancel. I told Darcy, "I just want lots of colors - and the rest I'll leave up to you." I couldn't have made a better choice, my new advice for people planning a wedding - let the experts do their expert thing!
When the flowers arrived on wedding day I wanted to cry they were so beautiful. I never sent her a single pinterest board or photo, I didn't tell her a single flower to include and wow - it was just such a bright, unique, special array that I couldn't have ever thought up in a million years - but I absolutely LOVED it. Everything from my bridal bouquet, to the boutonnieres, to the table centerpieces, to all the little thoughtful accents she brought along was absolutely stunning.
So whether you want something super specific or even if you give almost no direction, Darcy and her team at Seascape will 100% deliver.

d. I had an idea of what I wanted for some of the things on our day, but Darcy really nailed it and made my vision come to life. Our center pieces and welcome table flowers really set the tone for a whimsical day. Our wedding party florals, from my bouquet to the boy’s boutonnieres, were an absolute dream. Darcy went above and beyond to provide my hair piece (a custom comb with cacti and succulents) the night before the wedding via Uber, making the day of stress free! What really stole the show though was our living wall. My husband and I had a custom neon sign purchased prior to having any idea what we wanted to do with it, but Darcy’s team put together a beautiful living wall and mounted our neon sign for the perfect photo backdrop. Our guests raved over our living wall! Darcy, thank you so much for helping make our day perfect. I couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else.
We hired Seascape Flowers for our wedding in May 2019 at Seascape Beach Resort. Darcy and her team were amazing! We explained to her what we had in mind, provided some inspiration ...
pictures and she created an amazing decor exactly how we wanted. Darcy is extremely talented, so we gave her creative liberty to use any flowers and greenery that she had in mind, and the results were breathtaking! Everything was so lush and still delicate. Additionally it was very helpful that Darcy reused some of the arrangements from the ceremony for the reception, cutting costs and ultimately waste! If you’re having your wedding near Aptos I would definitely recommend!
Amazing amazing work ! Although it is on the more expensive side, the work they do is superb. Darcy is a visionary and put everything together exactly how I had dreamed. Would 100%...

now much about flowers or design, but Darcy was so great at taking our concept and refining it and working with it to come up with something we absolutely loved.
We had a Hindu/Catholic fusion wedding, and wanted something that both honored my husband's Indian culture but also felt like modern California. Darcy did a fabulous job executing that idea, much better than I could have ever dreamed! They did bouquets, table arrangements, designed the escort card display, designed and built our ceremony structure, provided garlands for the ceremony, cake flowers, and so much more. I don't like a lot of the more traditional wedding florals, but the work they created for us felt fresh and unique. We don't have the professional photos back, but I can't wait to see them, since I was so busy to fully appreciate all of the table arrangements and other florals! But we got a ton of compliments from guests about how beautiful all of our flowers were.
They were on time and incredibly responsive -- Darcy would often respond to my emails within the hour, even at super weird times! And she was willing to work with our many, many last minute changes -- we probably revised the contract 20 times, but she never complained or made any issue of it.
I was so happy with both the service we received and the way everything was executed. Would very highly recommend. And as you'll see if you peruse the gallery on their website, they're skilled at executing a wide range of style ideas, not just one type! So no matter what kind of design idea you have for your wedding, if it's anywhere in the Carmel/Monterey/Santa Cruz area, I wouldn't hire anyone else but Seascape.

When I first walked into the reception venue after our ceremony I was stunned -- the flowers and centerpiece decorations were incredible.
I would 100% recommend Darcy and Seascape for any event. Her professionalism, creativity and expertise show in her wonderful work.
I showed Laurie pictures of things I liked and my bouquets and centerpieces were just perfect. Several guests commented on how great they smelled, too.

Laurie figured out what my dream wedding would be. I loved how they would ask me for my ideas, and thoughtfully expand on the concepts. I had a few rough ideas when we started, but when we finished, they created an amazingly beautiful look. My flowers and décor were elegant, rustic and warm, inviting and very much beyond my expectations! From planning to the actual day, Seascape Flowers was a delight.

ul. The centerpieces turned out looking cheap and not like we had discussed. I wish I would have saved the money and did them myself after seeing them. The worst part was the bouquets though. When I saw them after they were delivered, I was so sad. My bouquet was supposed to be mostly a white bouquet and larger than the bridesmaids ones. They ended up all looking the same. Someone tried calling Laurie to see if she could change it. Luckily she was on her way back to the ceremony site because she had forgotten to deliver the flowers for inside the chapel. When she returned to discuss with me the bouquets, she was short with me and not trying to be accommodating at all. That was hard for me because I hate complaining and asking people to change things but everyone was urging me to ask for what I wanted since I was paying for it. Laurie offered to use the flowers for the chapel to change my bouquet, but then and wouldn't have any flowers for inside the chapel. She also couldn't promise the bouquet would look any good after that because she didn't have any of her tools on her. What florist shows up to deliver at a wedding and doesn't have any tools or extra flowers in case of something happening? It was a frustrating experience overall and I almost burst into tears with the way she was treating me. It made me sad that I had such wonderful vendors for my wedding and Seascape Flowers turned out to be my only bad vendor. I suppose I should have seen the red flag when I would leave phone messages for Laurie to call me and it would be days before I heard back from her.
I was looking for someone who could do Hawaiian/South Pacific-style flowers which can be a little challenging, but Laurie right away told me she was up for the project and that she...
would research Hawaii shipment options if needed. We booked her about a year out and had 2 sit-down meetings with her, along with email communication throughout. I gave her a picture collage of my flower ideas and colors, went over preferences on each piece at our detail meeting, and then asked her to use her professional opinion. What we got were GORGEOUS flower centerpieces, bouquets, arch arrangements, corsages, boutonnieres, etc. All guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and how tropical, fresh, and bright they were. Laurie came through with exactly what I wanted. Laurie was also very nice to run back to her shop the morning of the wedding to switch the Mother-of-the-Bride's corsage to a wrist corsage to better suit her dress.
Overall, very nice service and amazing flowers.
My bouquet was amazing. It was exactly what I wanted!
Laurie at Seascape was outstanding. I didn't have very specific ideas of what I wanted, more of a feel, and she was able to translate my vagueness into just what I wanted! The bouq...
uets, centerpieces, and accents were beautiful. Laurie also suggested some additions for the indoors space - lanterns, etc - that she was able to rent for reasonable prices. I definitely recommend Seascape Flowers!

and lovely centerpieces and bouts.
That being said, the service was a mixed bag. On the one hand, they were lovely about delivering my hair flowers early, five minutes after my phone call. However, despite several requests for wrist corsages, all of our corsages arrived as the pin onto the front kind. The flower girl baskets and petals never showed up at all.
I actually think Seascape Flowers is worth it if you want something fun and unique for your wedding, but do be prepared for things not to go as planned.
