Sawatdee Thai Restaurant

e delight to work with from the very first tasting, curating our menu, navigating dietary restrictions, and making sure herself that the food delivery and water service were all executed perfectly at the wedding. The food was supremely tasty, savory, and all prepared perfectly. Our guests raved about how excellent everything was and the ease of getting what they wanted from the buffet line. We will absolutely use Sawatdee catering for our next event, and look forward to visiting their restaurants on every anniversary!! Best value in all the Twin Cities.

saying a lot because we had a lot of questions and requests. She was always responsive, available, and helpful. The cocktail hour spread was so beautifully laid out. They printed a menu for our guests and brought extra spices and sauces on the side for the buffet dinner. They even cut our wedding cake for us. The staff were so efficient and it was awesome seeing them have a good time at our wedding. To top it off, the food at our wedding was the best we've ever had from Sawatdee - guests, even including our grandmothers and my great grandmother, went out of their way to rave to us about how much they loved the food. We ate the leftovers at work for lunch for a week and made me feel emotional every time. I can't recommend Sawatdee enough if you are looking for something other than dry Italian chicken or steak for your event catering. You won't regret it, and your guests won't either!

watdee catered because they were a Minneapolis Parks Department preferred vendor. The Sinclair on Grand let us bring in any caterer we wanted so we were super excited when we found out how reasonable Sawatdee’s catering prices were. Cyndy was amazing. The most responsive vendor by far, I really can’t recommend working with her enough. The food was wonderful. It was the talk of the night. It was also super allergy friendly and there was so much of it. Everyone was able to try a little of everything and then go back for more if they wanted to. And a lot of people wanted to. It was really gratifying to see plates piled high with food. We still had loads of leftovers. Cyndy’s staff did a great job keeping the buffet line filled and the tables bussed. She had an option to add a china package and water service which made everything feel a little more upscale and reduced the amount of waste. 10/10 would recommend her for any event.

ally want to order for ourselves at home” and landed on Sawatdee. This quickly became one of our favorite parts of our wedding day and guests constantly bring up how amazing the food was! We got married on July 29th (so a HOT day) and it was so perfect to have fresh, light food at our wedding instead of the heavy buttery food a lot of other caterers make. So so so happy with Sawatdee!! We had a lot of guest with shellfish allergies and Cyndy made sure to order the correct ingredients and verify with us on multiple occasions-SO appreciated!!

e dishes we had for our wedding were vegan and labelled with any allergens. We had to change our venue 5 weeks before our wedding due to COVID and they were able to pivot with us. Cyndy was very professional and quick to respond to all of our questions and requests. They truly went above and beyond and I would recommend them highly.

, Cyndy, was very responsive and helpful when making catering decisions. On the day of, her staff had everything set up on time and got our guests through the buffet quickly. We would recommend this caterer for a delicious meal and great service! They are on the approved list for the Three Rivers Park District venues, so that makes the combo of venue & catering pretty affordable.

able. She offered to use her huge restaurant in Minneapolis for a really great price. The food was amazing as usual and the service was awesome. It is walking distance to the Stone Arch Bridge where we took our formal photos at too! We highly recommend Sawatdee 100%. Cyndy was constantly available by text, email, and phone, incredibly responsive. She also assisted us in the planning of the layout for our event. Every detail was gone over and excecuted perfectly. Some of our guests actually thought Cyndy was a long time friend --that is how well she worked with us for our wedding. Best decision ever!

she was responsive and patient with all our questions. She even stopped by our venue the day before the wedding to drop off table linens so we were able to decorate without having to wait for her staff to arrive! We felt the cost for a buffet line was very reasonable and our guests were pleased with the variety and quality of food (and I must add the spring rolls and wontons are delicious!). Sawatdee was also our alcohol provider. While there were a few limitations were experienced (e.g. Prosecco was costly and there were some limitations to purchasing a keg), we really appreciated the ability to get reimbursed for unopened bottles of wine, and the convenience of having a full service caterer (providing alcohol and food) cannot be beat! If you're looking to offer something different for your guests, we highly recommend Sawatdee for tasty food and excellent customer service!

oncerns, and dietary needs. The day of the wedding, everything went super smooth, and the staff was lovely. They were able to provide for all our food needs, from linens to dessert, and even to-go containers for our guests to take home leftovers. All this for what seemed like a very reasonable price compared to some of the all-inclusive packages we saw elsewhere. Sawatdee also staffed the bar at a great price, which cut down on coordinating vendors. We even received a credit for all unconsumed liquor, so we were able to provide our guests with as many drinks as they wanted without worrying about over-ordering. We would recommend Sawatdee to anyone! This food is memorable, everyone thought it was delicious, and it easily navigates most major dietary concerns. Planning a wedding is really stressful, but having Sawatdee as a caterer made this portion stress free. People told us that you don't really get a chance to eat at your own wedding, but we were not about to miss out. We enjoyed every bite!

ough I probably made her work harder with late replies and continually changing headcount. I really appreciate everything she did for us! As for the event, her staff had everything set up by the time we got there and they remained unobtrusive throughout the reception. The food was delicious, and the staff even left some containers for us to send people home with leftovers in. I would highly recommend Sawatdee to anyone hosting an event and would happily have them cater for us again!

hire Sawatdee at my next event for sure!
