I had the best experience with Kaylee at Sarah Seven. I showed up a little late to my appointment and she was so sweet and welcoming about it. I'm not someone who loves trying on a...
bunch of dresses, but she somehow understood my style instantly. She asked a few simple questions, pulled the perfect gown, and it ended up being the one.
Thanks to her, I found my dream dress so fast and still made it to brunch. She made the whole moment feel easy, fun, and special. Couldn't recommend her more!
I had the BEST experience at Sarah Seven in Chicago! Kaylee made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She was very attentive and put me at ease. There was never any pressure to pur...
chase. She ended up being the reason I found the dress I loved!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience here!
I hope my photos attached speak for itself. If you want to buy a SS dress, that is amazing; just do NOT at all get your tailoring done at their NYC showroom. Here is our email into...
them a couple of days after my wedding:
My daughter was advised to order one size up in order to do alterations correctly. I went with Caroline for her first fitting. The alteration specialist seem to be quite competent as he talked about her need for bra cups, he talked about the side of the dress it looked like it was going to be perfect.
Caroline went back for her second fitting and the dress had been taken in to the point where she could not sit down nor could she walk freely. She was terrifically upset and contacted the head of your alterations department who assured her that she would have the perfect Sarah seven experience.
She went back they re-altered the dress they let it out —we were quite concerned as the seams had already been taken in, and that is why we ordered the dress originally one size up so that we could not see any kind of let out seam in the dress.
During the entire process there had been a big discussion about the cups that you all were to sew in to the dress and how they needed to be trimmed. Caroline came with her friend the third time around and they could all see that the cups needed to be trimmed, your seamstress included.
Let’s fast forward to when Caroline picked up the dress and she wanted to try it on one last time and your alteration specialist said absolutely no need to do that. I have never had anything altered that I did not check out to ensure that it had been done correctly.
When she arrived here in Florida with the dress we tried it on right away Caroline was concerned the side of the dress puckered out a bit —day before the wedding —nothing to be done about that. And then the day of the wedding her photographer said ‘every single picture I’m taking of you has those cups showing’ we taped it down we adjusted as best we could he literally cut the cups out of the dress. Talented photographer for sure.
They NEVER sewed in the cups properly and my photographer had to cut them the day of my wedding, see me naked and I had to wear sticky boobs with my SS dress. Worst vendor I hired was SS to do my tailoring. Please spare yourself the trouble and get it altered elsewhere.
This was my first and only stop when searching for my wedding dress! I fell in love with the dresses online and decided to make the trip to Chicago to check them all out. Lauren wa...
s AMAZING. She was so sweet and provided great advice and insight when choosing a dress. I ended up going with the first dress I tried on. Sarah's dresses are all so comfortable and chic. Even though it was just my mom and I in the store, Lauren still made me feel so special and was so genuinely excited when I decided on the dress. She was also very upfront with all the costs and explaining everything. Such a great experience! Can't wait to go back for my fittings!
I had the best experience at Sarah Seven! From the initial try on, to fittings, to the end result - everything was flawless. Alana was fabulous in helping to schedule and reschedul...
e fittings to make sure I had my final dress on time. I am in love with my dress - the Viv - chic, and looked amazing in the photos. Could not recommend Sarah Seven more!
This was the first and only place I shopped for my wedding dress. I knew I wanted a simple, timeless gown for the day of and Sarah Seven didn’t disappoint. Alana was amazing and ac...
ted as a great sounding board during the appointment. She helped me narrow down my selection and offered candid advice on what kind of dresses she thought I’d like based on my style and was budget conscious. Alana made my dress search special and listened to what I wanted. Proud to wear a dress from here on my big day!
I cannot recommend Sarah Seven enough - from the minute you walk into a showroom until the moment you walk out with your dress, you are treated like a queen. I found my dream dress...
on Pinterest and was ecstatic to find out that it was designed by Sarah Seven and that there was a showroom in Chicago! I am pretty sure I tried on every single dress in the showroom during my first appointment just to make sure I had found the right one.
The Sarah Seven team made the dress buying and alteration process a breeze. I had heard that dress alterations can be tedious and cost just as much as the dress, so I was very happy that Sarah Seven offers to do all alterations. The in-house seamstress knows the dresses and is able to fit your gown perfectly.
The Kir Gown was stunning, comfortable and fit like a dream on my wedding day. If you are lucky enough to live near a Sarah Seven showroom, make an appointment right now - you won’t regret it!!
Thank you to the Sarah Seven team in Chicago for making my dreams come true.
I went to Sarah Seven with my mother-in-law and my bridesmaids. I was nervous that I would have left it too long and we wouldn't be able to buy a dress, or it would be too expensiv...
e to add a rush to the order. But no, when I spoke with them they gave me the absolute last day that I could come in to shop and possibly order without a rush fee added on. I bought the Ivy dress and could not have been more thrilled. I went with the in-house alterations and it worked perfectly. I cannot imagine a better experience for shopping for my wedding dress and am so glad I went with Sarah Seven. The ladies there really knew their products, knew how far each sample could be pushed, and knew how to interact with their customers (no pressure and no pushing me into a dress I wasn't sure about). I was probably one of many women coming in to try on dresses that week but I never felt like that. I felt seen and I felt special. Thank you Sarah Seven!
I loved Sarah Seven! The gown was breathtaking but the experience was even better! I felt like a friend in the salon and the employees were genuinely excited for me. If you’re look...
ing for a unique gown, Sarah seven is the place to go
I wore the Belmont dress from Sarah Seven for my wedding in June. I love this dress. The in-store seamstress did an incredible job tailoring the dress and I really enjoyed working ...
with her. That being said, the woman working the sales floor kept asking me the same questions over and over during the course of a fitting, as if she wasn't even listening to my replies. It seemed that she was trying to do her job but her attempts to engage with me were off-putting. The salon also replaced my dress without telling me after I had paid in full. I lost a decent amount of weight in the months leading up to my wedding so the salon determined that the dress I originally purchased was too large. They replaced my dress after the first fitting with another one in the same style but a size down. What bothered me was that they didn't tell me until I arrived for my second fitting. When I asked why they didn't call or email me beforehand to let me know that they were doing this, the saleswoman said she didn't think it was a big deal. Springing a new dress on a bride who has already dropped $3K with no advance warning is a bad idea. I loved my dress but I was disappointed by the customer service experience at Sarah Seven.
My bridal crew and I were having a fun time trying to find "THE DRESS". I specially wanted to try on the Processo dress since it was beautiful in pictures. I read some bad reviews ...
but figured that we would have a better time. Alana really put a damper on a great and fun day we were having. I am not sure if she was having a bad day but personal issues should be put aside. She wouldn't let me try on dresses that was $500 over my budget. I understand that bridal shop don't want you to fall in love with something you cannot afford but a $500 dollar difference is not that extreme of a gap. I tried on a dress that was high neck that I was not fond of and could not try on any other dresses with high necks. My crew informed me that she was rolling her eyes and making faces while she was measuring me, I am a curvier female. The dresses were dirty and there we dust balls in the fitting room. Granted that the fitting rooms were small but she would just hand me the dress. My girls had to help several times to zip me up. It was just a very different bridal experience that I have not encountered. I was ready to run out of there. I am not sure if they cater to people of color but we did not feel welcomed at all. It felt like that scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts was turned away based on her looks. Very unhappy and will not recommend to anyone!
Being in that dress was just the best. And everyone was super helpful and flexible.
Beautiful, sexy, classy, unique...all things I heard people say when describing my wedding dress from Sarah Seven. The service is top-notch. The dresses are high quality and down-r...
ight gorgeous. And the alterations provided in house were a breeze. I am so thankful for having found Sarah Seven and will continue to recommend it to all.
I loved my dress from Sarah Seven! I got to try on plenty of dresses during my appointment, and the store feels very private with not many other people around. Patrese helped me fi...
nd my dress, and she was very helpful showing me different styles and options. They also offer alterations in-house which was very convenient for me, and their seamstress did a great job working on my dress until it fit perfectly!
Sarah Seven is one of my favorite bridal designers and I was SO excited to find my dress here. First off, Lauren was awesome, very genuine and honest and one of the best consultant...
s you could hope to work with! However, at the end of my appt I was deciding between two dresses and unlike most stores, you can usually come back within a day or two of thinking it over and order your dress at the same price as it was at your initial appt…not here. You get a 10% discount if you order it same-day which I feel is a very tacky sales tactic, and as a bride on a budget I felt very pressured into making a decision. Had I been able to think it over a few days and not lose out on the discount I would have probably ordered a dress here, but this offer they provide left a bad taste in my mouth. I get it, once a bride leaves its probably hard to get them back to buy a dress, but I ended up buying a dress at a place with no gimmicks and who put me as a priority instead of the sale.
I could not have been happier with my experience at Sarah Seven. Lauren immediately made me and my family feel welcome and made the appointment stress free and fun. After being ver...
y nervous about trying on wedding dresses, I was so glad that SS was the first place I went. Her dresses are absolutely gorgeous and they have a great selection. I cannot rate the quality of dresses and consultants at Sarah Seven high enough!
I got my dress at Sarah Seven and am so happy I did! The entire team there is the best of the best! From day one of going dress shopping, they were all so friendly and helpful and...
genuinely care about their brides. Most boutiques are strict with rules on only bringing 1-2 guests with you to an appointment, but the Sarah Seven team was so understanding about my family wanting to come with. Lauren helped me find the perfect dress and made dress shopping such a great experience. Once I found my dress, Ali did a phenomenal job with alterations and was so patient with me as we perfected my dress. The boutique is stunning and their dress selection is amazing. I highly recommend Sarah Seven for the down-t0-earth bride who is looking for a simple, yet elegant dress.

even designs are just that--her dresses are gorgeous and this store offers something totally different than most bridal salons. The girls who work there are great and super helpful--shopping there was so much fun!
The dresses were pretty, but they were a specific style (whimsical, lace). The experience we had there wasn't the greatest, the person helping me wouldn't let my ladies look around...
and pick out some dresses. She also seemed annoyed when I didn't like the dresses.
Thank god for Sarah Seven! It was my third stop on a weekend full of bridal appointments and it changed the game in my experience. I tried a million dresses on elsewhere and loved ...
so many, I wasn't sure how to decide. Then I got to Sarah Seven and nothing compared. Patrice was the perfect assistant in pulling and helping me find my way to my ultimate dream dress. Their ability to customize sets them above the pack. You should absolutely go here if not to at least have the opportunity to try on beautiful dresses!
Patrese and her whole team at the Chicago store are amazing. I first came by myself and Patrese really took her time with me and was so patient when I couldn't make a decision. I l...
ater came back with friends and she was more than happy to show me everything again. Sarah's designs were so much more ethereal and light than any of the other dresses I tried on. They worked with me to modify one design by adding a train and taking off the sleeves. It took about 5 months for the dress to come in, but then it was all great. They've stopped doing free alterations, but they did a great job with mine. Everything fit so well on the big day. Definitely go check them out!
Sarah Seven blew me away. The inviting set up of the Chicago shop and one-on-one attention was exactly what I was looking for. Not only are the gowns gorgeous, they make you feel g...
orgeous as well. Incredibly fun to work with and so happy I found Sarah Seven for my big day. Thank you!
I was not the typical bride. I didn't want a big gown or anything that screamed tradition. At Sarah Seven, I found a form fitting gown that was then made from scratch to my measure...
ments. The built-in bustier was definitely a bit tight, but necessary. It was also 100 degrees outside while I was in it and I didn't sweat at all. So beautiful and a HUGE crowd favorite
Sarah Seven makes STUNNING dresses that fit PERFECTLY and look GORGEOUS. I was extremely happy with my dress for my wedding day and got an unending amount of compliments on it. I...
t was very my style and fit me to a tee.
Sarah gets a lot of orders and seems a little overwhelmed so be sure to order early and keep tabs on her. I had to email her a TON of times and she was a few weeks late in sending my dress but luckily she tailored it perfectly and it arrived in plenty of time for me not to worry too much.
Beautiful flow-y dresses that look great. She is always overwhelmed with orders so order early!
