and I was obsessed with everything she posted. When it was time for us to reach out to photographers, she was top of my list! During our phone call she was so kind and professional. She answered all of our questions and made the planning process so easy. We even emailed back and forth before our engagement photos and she gave me plenty of advice to prepare for the session. She was the best! As for the wedding day, she was incredible! She helped make things run so smoothly and did way more than you would expect of a wedding photographer. She helped fix my veil, she wiped away my happy tears so I didn't ruin my makeup, and she was able to wrangle our huge family for some impromptu photos we hadn't initially plan for. It felt like we were on the same wavelengths, I could make eye contact with Sarah across the room or dance floor and she instantly knew I wanted her to take a photo to capture a moment. Seriously, it's like she could read my mind! So many fun, candid moments captured throughout the day. Everyone LOVED her and they continue to rave about her even now. (: On top of her being just an incredible human to work with, the photos turned out so so beautiful!! We are so in love with all of our photos! And the speed with which we got them back was insane! Our family was shocked we got sneak peeks the night of the wedding and the full gallery back within 3 weeks. Seriously, I cannot put into words how obsessed we are with Sarah! We cannot wait to work with her again!!

Cueing for photos, making us laugh, and hyping us up like we had been friends forever during our engagement shoot made me sure from the moment we met, that our whole experience would be amazing. Sarah is not only an amazing photographer but a master at managing chaos. On wedding day, she played a huge role as more than just photographer and we really leaned on her to help get people where they needed to be and ensure our day was as peaceful as possible. She was always in the exact right spot to capture a special candid moment but also spent meticulous time curating perfect shots (even if that meant standing in the creek for the best lighting!). She really will do anything to make sure that your dream photos come to life. We received sneak peak photos just a few HOURS after Sarah left our venue on our wedding day (!!!) and the full album back just 3 weeks later. We have received soooo many compliments on the quality of the photography and the light, bright, flowy editing style. I seriously can’t choose which to print out and hang up in our house! It’s so special to see our wedding day through eyes that aren’t mine and I will cherish these photos and our experience with Sarah forever!

bright, and really stunning photos, but I couldn’t have predicted how unbelievable ours would turn out. They are easily the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. Not only did she capture the colors and details in such a vibrant way, but more importantly her photos show the love, emotion, and even the fun that we had together and with our friends and families. I’ve never seen the way I look when I look at my husband, and I’m so incredibly grateful that I now can. She truly brings the day to life, and makes your photos look as gorgeous as the day itself feels. Sarah is also super relatable, funny, and sweet. On the day of, she was always exactly in the right spot to capture a key moment, she guided us toward locations that were perfectly lit, she even climbed into a creek to take the most stunning photos of us during golden hour. She will do anything to make sure your photo dreams come true (and they’ll be even better than you could’ve dreamed, honestly!). She is also extremely fast. Our families and friends still talk about how shocked they are that we got our photos so quickly. She had our sneak peeks to us the day after the wedding, and we had the full set before we even came back from our honeymoon! She is unreal! It was about the same timeframe with our engagement photos too — and we still look at those more than a year later, they’re just stunning. For your wedding day, Sarah Houston is everything you could ask for in every way. She became my confidant, best friend, and more on the most special day of my life. I could not be more grateful to have had her there, and to have her incredible photos now. is beyond sweet, creative, and so helpful. Sarah was great at communicating leading up to the wedding and was always quick to respond. On the wedding day, she did so many extra things that went above and beyond: she attached my family pendants to my bouquet, put flowers in my hair, got me electrolyte water, and so much more. She made me smile all day and had everyone laughing in our group family photos. We felt so taken care of! She is a true professional and it’s obvious that she has a lot of experience. We also loved her second shooter who did a fabulous job photographing the groomsmen. Getting our photos back was like Christmas morning! We absolutely love Sarah’s light and airy photography style that makes me feel like our wedding was in a Jane Austen novel. It is such a gift to have photos that capture the best day of our lives so well. I have looked at our photos multiple times a day every day for the last month and now they decorate our home so that we can look at them 24/7! Aside from doing a spectacular job as our photographer, she was valuable resource in my search for vendors, a step in day of coordinator, and I think she even repaired one of the bridesmaid dresses. Finding a good photographer was one of the most important things for me, because I wanted a way for the memories from our special day to live on. She will be your advocate on your most important day in whatever role she is needed, while simultaneously capturing breathtaking photos. ll with Sarah, she told me that, while she is a wedding photographer, she ends up wearing a bunch of hats on wedding day - makeup and hair, event coordinator, emotional support - you name it! Haha originally, I was hoping that I would be low maintenance for her, but lo and behold, I had Sarah running around helping me, and she was a total champ. For example, my belt/sash on my dress kept snagging on the material, and she was the only one who thought to bring double sided tape, which totally fixed the issue! She made sure I taken care of and wasn’t too overheated — major shout out to our unofficial sponsor of the day, Neck Fans. More importantly than her “many hats” is her photography. My *now* husband and I are not the most photogenic people. We are admittedly awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah was able to joke around with us and hype us up so that we actually enjoyed it. The photos turned out incredible. I love the quality and the brightness/lightness of her photos. She captured us at our best, and we will cherish these photos forever. nd romantic. She was very accessible and collaborative leading up to our wedding day and even helped me select other vendors and figure out the best lighting for our reception. The day of our wedding she came into the bridal suite and was so supportive and made me feel calm and taken care of. Throughout the wedding day, she made sure that we had what we needed and were on schedule. She truly went above and beyond her role as a photographer, even bustling my dress! Sarah was able to easily manage everyone and was very efficient about getting all of our shots. The turnaround for receiving our photos was super quick and I was blown away by how incredible they turned out. Sarah was a perfectionist about getting her shots and had such a great eye for lighting and backgrounds. I also LOVE looking back at the reception photos. She captured a ton of great moments that I missed in person and it’s fun to relive the day through those. wedding day. It's rare to find someone who has both attention to detail and a warm heart and with Sarah, we found that rare person! The day before my wedding both Sarah and my mom got into terrible car accidents and not only did she make it to my wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and that I was happy with everything. She even took the time to chat with my mom after her car accident to make sure she was ok after being in one herself! We received our photos in record time but it looked as though she spent MONTHS making them look like perfection. We could not have been more thrilled with the product and would recommend her to anyone. I spent months searching for the perfect photographer and we met a lot of great people, but trust me when I tell you that Sarah is one in a million. She even worked with my mom after we received the pictures to make sure she was happy with the photos of her, given her accident the day prior. My husband and I are so thankful for Sarah and now consider her a member of our family. I can't wait to have an excuse to ask her to photograph another milestone in our lives!

Sarah goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is seamless. She will talk through the timeline and truly get to know each couple and their style. Sarah truly felt like another friend by my side on my wedding day -- she helped steam my dress, carried my accessories, and even bustled my dress like a pro! She was incredibly efficient during the wedding party and family photos which made it possible to enjoy more of the reception and cocktail hour. was the first vendor we booked before we even finalized booking our venue. Sarah was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She builds great relationships with her clients, makes them feel comfortable in front of the camera during the engagement shoot and gets to know the client’s vision for their big day. She’s very talented, organized, passionate and full of energy (which I didn’t think I needed during our wedding day). She kept everyone on schedule and felt like we got a photographer and a wedding planner in one! As a bride, you experience so many emotions during the day but Sarah made me feel excited and relaxed. I mostly appreciate Sarah listening and accommodating all of our detailed wedding shot requests on a tight timeline (without doing a first look) but she still made a way for us to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. ay I needed, even when she just had a baby! In early 2021, when we knew we'd have to reschedule our big wedding again, we hired Sarah to photograph our mini ceremony with just our families as well. She curated such a beautiful gallery that captured the intimate nature of the ceremony and we treasure those photos so much! We had a torrential downpour right before the ceremony, in addition to one of my bridesmaids getting sick with a fever. antastic. On the wedding day everything went great and we were able to get all the photos we wanted. My one suggestion is to ensure you make a shot list, which i did not, since some items were missed that Sarah wouldn't have known to get. She is super speedy in getting you pictures the night of your wedding and we got our whole album within 2 weeks. The photos are of amazing quality and look so great printed out in a frame and also on canvas! I cannot wait for her to take our anniversary shots since i know they will be perfect! t difficult vendor selection we made throughout the planning process. My husband taught himself photography on film and does it as a hobby, so he has a great eye for photography and we can both be very picky when it comes to photography styles. Choosing someone to trust with capturing our wedding photos seemed almost impossible, especially if we didn't want to spend a third of our wedding budget on the photographer alone! Eventually, after hours of searching online, I ran across Sarah. A few emails and a phone call later we decided to book her. After our engagement shoot, which was the first time we had worked with a photographer that wasn't a friend, we knew we had made the right decision! She was so easy to work with and really made it comfortable, effortless and fun! The photos were beautiful, we got so many compliments! A month before the wedding I had an alterations disaster and had to find a new dress, along with shoes and accessories, since nothing I had seemed to go with any dress options I could find on such short notice. I messaged Sarah to ask her advice on a couple things and she got back to me right away and was SO helpful! It was a very stressful situation for me and she acted as more of a friend than a photographer. She even offered to let me borrow a dress she owned if it came down to it! On my wedding day she really was my best friend and personal assistant for the day. Her main concern was that my day was fantastic and stress free, and that she captured all of the photos that we hoped for. She ran from the venue to the house to grab things that were left in the bridal suite, helped me get a stain out of my dress, made sure the timeline was moving along as planned, none of which she had to do, but did, and it was AMAZING and so helpful! You can tell that she has a lot of experience and really knows what she is doing, and most importantly, she truly cares about her brides!! Sarah is also very quick with getting photos back to you. She posted sneak peaks by the time I woke up the next morning, and they were all gorgeous!! We received our full album from her while we were on our honeymoon, which we left for a couple days after the wedding. It was so nice and unexpected to get the photos so quickly, and even though she turned around the album fast, its obvious she took her time on selecting and editing all of the photos, everyone that we have shared the album with absolutely loves them!! I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Sarah, book her if you can, I promise that you will not be disappointed. She is wonderful!!!

re both mildly paranoid about being in front of the camera during our first session with Sarah (our engagement shoot) and she immediately put us both at ease and had us laughing the whole time! She was by my side on our big day keeping me calm cool and collected (as cool as one can be outside in July!) and keeping myself and my bridal party laughing. It goes without saying that her brides become her friends- and she’s the kind of friend every bride needs! So many guests came to me complementing her kindness and helpfulness to everyone who approached her, she posted sneak peaks that night (before we both headed out of state for a Disney vacation!) and I lost count of the texts I received asking for my info about her because just the sneak peaks alone were incredible! Looking at our wedding photos on the wall in front of me, I cannot imagine not having Sarah be the one to capture our day. She absolutely captured the moments I might’ve otherwise missed or forgotten with time and I am so beyond grateful. I know weddings are expensive- and it’s easy to fall into the ‘we’ll find someone cheaper’ or ‘I have a friend with a great camera’ ideals- but please, please if you splurge on nothing else- your photos are what you’ll have 50,60,70 years from now- make sure they capture the moment, and reach out to Sarah- you will not regret it!

She is the most professional person I talked to prior to booking and she continued to respond to every silly question I had in the blink of an eye. in my search and spent almost a month looking for someone. We were thrilled with Sarah’s work and would recommend her to any of our friends and family. The payment system was a breeze (it was digital) and it was super easy to view and download our photos after the wedding. And of course, her photos were just incredible. Personally, I hate to be photographed and I’m very awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah made my husband and I super comfortable. I particularly loved the variety of photos Sarah captured- traditional and timeless portraits, photos of décor, hilarious candids, and much more.
