s away. My now (British) husband and I were living in England at the time and I knew I wanted to have a wedding by a place I once called home — Wrightsville Beach. When I got online to search for the perfect planner for my day, I found Sarah Ann quite quickly. I was first drawn in by her beautiful website and then I was blown away by the photos she had of previous weddings she had planned. I booked a call with her and when she picked up the phone I immediately knew she was the planner for me. She took time to truly get to know me and what I envisioned for our wedding day. One thing I also immediately loved about Sarah was her love for lists— I knew she wouldn’t forget anything I asked for or said! We began to plan my dream wedding for June 25, 2022 and Sarah made it all seem so easy. We picked our vendors together (over the phone) and she did ALL of the coordination for me. Any time I needed something or was scared about a decision, Sarah would encourage me and remind me I was making a good choice. Unfortunately, after we had planned the majority of our wedding, we had to make the hard decision to move our date because of immigration issues (green card 🫠). We moved our date to August of 2022 and Sarah quickly pivoted and called all of my vendors, for new contracts and changed the date for me. I didn’t have to lift a finger. Fast forward a few more months and we had to move our wedding day again. This time to July 8, 2023. Sarah again jumped right in and I didn’t have to stress about contacting vendors. When I first called Sarah in 2021, she had no idea how long we would be working together and the entire time she remained professional, friendly and helpful. She never once was caught by surprise by the amount of change that came. She helped me the entire way— I bet we spent countless hours on FaceTime and over text planning, re-planning and pivoting. She also knew I needed affirmation when it came to the choices I made (florals, signage, etc.) and she would always text me and remind me it was all going to be amazing. Sarah made sure every detail was what I wanted. She even ended up helping create the design for my signage— what a legend! Fast forward to our big day, and Sarah was everything I ever dreamed she’d be in person. She was so prepared for everything the day would bring and the day went perfectly. There was a chance of rain and our ceremony ran over a bit and I was stressed about time, guess what Sarah did? She looked at me, smiled and calmly reassured me it would all be okay. She is the kindest, most detail oriented person I have ever met. She will bring your dream wedding to life and she will make you feel like the most special person on the planet. My wedding day was the best day of my life, and I can confidently say it was that way because I chose Sarah as my wedding planner. Because of Sarah, I was able to be present fully on my wedding day. That is a priceless gift. If you’ve made it to the end of this review, well done. I think I don’t want to end it yet because then it feels like my time with Sarah is officially over. But, dear reader/bride looking for a planner, that’s the thing about Sarah— she becomes so much more than a planner, she truly becomes a friend. Choosing her is choosing a friend and that is always a great choice.

I don't know if you're like me where you think you can always find a better deal or a better something or if you're normal but I promise you, Sarah is reaching out to the BEST vendors and sending you back quotes from only the top of everyone she has reached out to so no need to do your own research, Sarah has you covered and wants your wedding to be just as beautiful, unique, and special as you do! We live in Colorado so were only able to meet Sarah in-person the weekend of our wedding but she was always only a text or phone call away, always responding right away whether we had a question 9 months before our wedding day or 2 days prior. I changed my mind on the teeniest things multiple times and she never made me feel like I was being 'too much', she would just reach out to the vendors and make the changes! We were also pleased to discover what a BOSS she is during our rehearsal dinner and wedding day (not in a mean way but in the way you need someone to be). She had everything planned out down to 15-minute increments so that I never felt crazed and everyone knew what was going on at every moment. un smoothly without her help. She worked seamlessly with my other incredible vendors, made my timeline, and my day ran nearly ahead of schedule! She was able to help this incredibly indecisive bride with some final design decisions. My cake came in with a bit of the wrong decor and Paige jumped right in and fixed it with extra florals on the spot. You never would have known it didn't come like that. When a guest brought an unexpected plus one, she was able to add a place setting to the table before guests were seated for dinner. She was even able to help keep me calm and help staff when my day ended with a bit of an emergency situation. She is incredible, prepared, and you need her for your day. Where do I even begin with this incredible gem of a human!
First of all, we had to reschedule our wedding due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Sarah Ann was incredibly understanding and...
flexible and didn't even charge us a rebooking fee.
Second, we booked her as a "month of" planner and once she stepped in, I was able to breathe a huge sigh of relief. We had an incredibly personable conversation via FaceTime at the beginning of this process where we went over the details of the wedding-- she was very detailed, jotting everything down, taking mental notes of my vision while also making helpful suggestions here and there. We also took this time to get to know each other a bit-- the conversation was personable, Sarah Ann listened but also shared some of her life story. She was so open and generous with me and by the end of it I truly felt bonded to her. Swiftly, she took the reigns on contact with vendors, making processional and recessional order, etc. and so many other little details that I was too busy to think about. She gave me access to Aisle Planner, which turned out to be an amazingly useful resource in the planning process--truly a life saver, you'll throw all of your planning books away.
Lastly, when the week and day finally came, Sarah Ann made it so I didn't have to worry about a thing and could just focus on being present. As if a pandemic and a gas shortage weren't big enough roadblocks, we found out our ceremony location had gone through an overhaul and our original processional and recessional plan had to be completely revamped. She visited the site on her own time to scope it out and come up with a backup plan. On the day of, Sarah Ann's assistant broke her foot while beginning set up that day, a bridesmaid didn't show up, some guests were divas/late/couldn't be bothered, the list goes on and on...but Sarah Ann must have had some magic fairy dust or something because despite it all, I felt cool, calm and collected knowing that she had everything under control. Truly I didn't see one bead of sweat on her. All smiles and love.

On the wedding day we had no responsibilities and were able to enjoy ourselves. It poured rain and we had an outside wedding. As a "Month of Planner", Sarah was able to take over my planning to that point, tie up the loose ends, coordinate all of my vendors, and help me identify gaps I hadn't recognized.

We appreciated the fact Sarah and her assistant, on the day of the wedding, rearranged the schedule due to some of my team being severely behind schedule. I actually didn't know how behind schedule, and how much rearranging occurred until my photographer told me a month later. We were almost 3 hours behind schedule, Sarah accepted the challenge and the ceremony STARTED ON TIME! We were able to get all of the pictures we had planned for and were at the reception on time.
Sarah and her team handled a mishap with the cake delivery so well, I didn't know anything had happened until after the reception. My cake vendor had gotten a flat tire on the way to the venue and wasn't sure it would make it in time for the reception. It was there, and in place before my first guests entered the reception area.
Sarah worked with my vendors seamlessly. She handled our families (not an easy feat) in a personable and professional manner. My now husband and I truly enjoyed working with Sarah.

nt at all but we are military so this location was the easiest. We held our wedding at a winery with vines galore. We invited I believe 130 ppl (mostly out of state guests) and I believe 70 attended. Our budget was $20k and we stayed at exactly that. I wanted an elegant feel and Sarah understood my vision immediately. I’m not extremely creative so hiring a planner was very important to me. I hired Sarah as a full time planner after speaking with a vendor. The vendor asked about details I hadn’t even thought of so I definitely needed help.
Sarah went above and beyond with pretty much everything. My husband was deployed during planning and I’m a recruiter so my schedule is hectic and my job gets overwhelming at times so she really eased my mind. I initially picked out my dress and then she guided me through the rest. She spoke with all vendors when there were issues, concerns, questions, or any changes. She’s professional at all times. She has connections with companies for beautiful linens, and even silverware. Small details are her thing and she’s genius for them. My dog is our child so she surprised us with a personal touch at the bar. I had velvet runners, printed napkins and our silverware was gold. The champagne flutes on the wagon were a last minute change that she came up with. She ordered all the names, and stirrers for the place settings. She’s also good with negotiating with vendors. My photographer offered very descriptive packages with items we weren’t interested in. Sarah got the price dropped and items removed. Sarah also saved me from a nightmare DJ who wanted to control the schedule of the wedding. I highly recommend her. Our day wouldn’t have been anywhere near what it was without her.

e wanted to hire a planner I was actually relieved because with her work and school schedule, and her lack of desire to be involved in small details, I knew we would need help. To top off our geographic difficulties, Sarah lived in yet another city. This posed absolutely no problem whatsoever. She was able to take my daughter’s overall plan of what she wanted, all the details I wanted, the general budget plan I had and put together the best wedding ever. I kept telling her “ I have this picture in my head of what it should look like”.
Sarah and I had literally hundreds of texts, emails and phone calls between the two us. There were a few conference calls with myself, my daughter and the venue manager and Sarah managed all like the absolute professional that she is.

The day of, my cake fell about 15 minutes before the ceremony, Sarah somehow got Publix to make me an entirely new cake and get it delivered before the reception began. Without her, not only would I have made a mess of a wedding but i definitely would have not had a cake at all. Sarah was the glue that held our entire wedding together and we are so grateful to have had her working with us! One more thing, I've been in several wedding where you deal with a very bossy wedding planner that can make it a lot less fun for not just the bridal party but even the bride and groom. Hiring Sarah might have been the best choice I made during the whole planning process. She took over all of my contracts leading up to the wedding, made sure all of my vendors knew when and where to be, and made my wedding day timeline. She sent a questionnaire about wedding information that I probably would have left out all together had it not been for her! On top of that she answered all of my silly 7am questions like "Do I have to have ushers?" and "What do I do if my caterer backs out?". On the day of my wedding Sarah and her team were rock stars.
