Not only is his work absolutely stunning, but he's also such a calming and positive presence to be around. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was so patient throughout the entire process. Every photo exceeded our expectations, and you can truly see the passion he has for his craft.
If you're looking for a photographer who is talented, reliable, creative, and truly cares about his clients, Sam Sarkis is the one. Booking him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!
We were married on New Year's Eve at Saint John's Resort, and choosing our photographer was one of the BEST decisions we made for our black-tie, magical celebration - and our very ...
first night stepping into the new year as husband and wife.
From the start, Sam was thoughtful, organized and genuinely invested in telling our story. On our wedding day, his calm, steady energy balanced the excitement of the evening perfectly. Sam made everything feel seamless and relaxed - which is no small feat on NYE!!
I do not love my picture being taken however, I have NEVER felt more beautiful - he truly made me feel like a movie star! Sam offered just the right amount of guidance to help us feel confident, while still allowing us to be completely ourselves. The result is a collection of photos that are timeless, emotional and breathtaking. Every image brings us right back to the magic of that night and the joy of beginning our forever together!
Also, having his daughter Loreen, from their LA studio alongside him made the experience even more meaningful. You can see that photography isn't just a business for them - it's a passion and a family craft.
We are endlessly grateful and will treasure and cherish these beautiful photos forever!

-Overall: We loved working with Sam and his daughter Loreen – they were professional, kind, and captured so many wonderful moments at our May wedding.

d his daughter Loreen for our wedding photos for their cinematic qualities. We looked at several photographers, but we saw a lot of photos that looked like they could have been taken with an iPhone. Sam is different - his style is classic photography, and Loreen's attention to detail really complimented Sam's style.
-Working with Sam and Loreen: We did many portraits as a couple and with our wedding party, and Sam and Loreen worked the room during our cocktail hour and reception. In addition, we interviewed Sam and he reassured us that working with my brother, Seth, who is autistic, wouldn't be a problem - and it wasn't! Sam and Loreen gave great, clear instruction, which is always helpful and appreciated.

His pictures speak for themselves — he has an eye for beauty and I wouldn’t want anyone else to capture my special day in pictures but him and his team. I can’t stress enough how amazing he is! our engagement photos until now, they have been the easiest to work with, professional in every way, and always knew what we were looking for when we were maybe not sure ourselves. Our wedding photos came back to us in amazing time and they are simply breathtaking!
The morning of, Loreen was with me and my bridesmaids. She made me feel so calm and relaxed when things got a little hectic. So not only were they there for their priority of taking pictures, they took a personal interest in us! And that was like that the entire year!

The new Travis couple
Really loved working with this father-daughter team! Loreen did our engagement shoot in California which we had so much fun at.
We also hired Sam and Loreen together to shoot our ...
rehearsal dinner and wedding.
I was always set on having a few dramatic/ artistic pictures taken for our wedding. It's the style I was looking for and I got a few in my wedding album which I'm happy about. I definitely recommend taking time to look for photos/ styles on pinterest so you know what kind of shots you would like for the wedding and you can relay that to Sam & Loreen so they can also make sure it's captured.
I also liked that my husband and me were never 'over posed'. I hate posey stiff shots and I never had to worry about getting those. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I had the rare pleasure of working with both Loreen AND Sam (we live in Los Angeles, and got married in MI), and I have to say, it doesn't matter which half of this ...

re something we did not want to skimp on since that is the memories of your wedding that you will have forever. I've seen so many of the "you get what you pay for" wedding photos and I did not want that. Sam was worth EVERY penny. We were overly pleased. Even my family loved him. He was fun & professional on the wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend Sam Sarkis!
