Sam did an excellent job with our wedding. We both have large families and he was able to get all the family photos in which at times as many of you know can be a difficult task. S...
am enjoys capturing candid moments and those moments he does capture of your special day turn out to be truly amazing photos. Thank you for all of your hard work Sam! We really love our photos!
We love Sam. There is really no other way to say it. Sam did our engagement photos last year and wowed us with his work. From the very beginning, he made us feel very comfortabl...
e in front of the camera.
For the wedding, he and a colleague shot our group for twelve hours and were unobtrusive while managing to get some amazing pictures. He is willing to do a particular pose if you would like, but the true magic is when you let him capture the moments as they come.
He is a photojournalist by trade, so his pictures truly do tell the story, which was what we wanted. We just got our pictures, and going through them one-by-one allowed us to relive the day from beginning to end. Oh, and his detail shots are unbelievable!
Sam was professional, easy to work with, respectful of our party and guests, and an extremely hard worker. We are so thankful for the memories he has left with us.
Book him and book him early!
Sam and kyle were so fun to work with! We had a great time and their pictures were amazing. He definately put his own style on the pictures and they turned out gorgeous. We couldn...
t be happier with the pictures!
I used Sam Dean for my engagement pics as well as my wedding photos. Let me just tell you that the few pics you see here is not even a preview of how amazing his work is. Coming fr...
om someone who googles everything for reviews and wants to make sure the person they are hiring is worth the money, look no further. Sam shows up with ideas you would not even dream of and will even watch your Pinterest for new thoughts or special poses, should you make a board like I did. I heard about him from my coworker who used him and during my entire wedding event, he was always there snapping thousands of pictures. He was even the time keeper when I was losing track of time, to make sure I got my "creative" poses I always wanted. He was relaxed and yet organized. He is invaluable to any event. You cannot recreate your event so trust me, do yourself a favor and splurge on Sam Dean instead of something like chair covers- nobody will remember what your linen looked like but they will love the captured moments Sam is able to get.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Sam on our wedding day. He was extremely laid back, very creative, and inconspicuously caught every special moment throughout the day. Sam defin...
itely took the lead and showed us his creativity ability, but was also open for our input and willing to take whatever pictures we wanted as well. He was a trooper the whole 12-hour day, even if that meant taking pictures for over 5 hours in 101+ degree heat! Sam amazingly captured really special moments that only lasted a split second, and all of his photos show an unbelievable amount of emotion.
After the wedding, Sam had a sneak peek posted online within a few days and all of our photos to us to view within a week! When we saw our photos for the first time, the only thing we could say was, “Wow!” We have shown our wedding pictures to several people already, and the recurring feedback is, “Those are the best wedding photos we have ever seen! Who was your photographer?" We have no hesitation recommending Sam to our friends and look forward to using him for additional photo shoots in the future!
Sam, thank you again for capturing such amazing moments and giving us photographs we will cherish forever!
Sincerely,
Thomas and Christina
We were thrilled with all of Sam's photography on our wedding day. He does a great job of getting a feel for the couple and the environment and catering the style of pictures. He a...
lso devoted an enormous chunk of time for us which we really appreciated to get total coverage of the day. He was very easy to work with prior to the wedding and so flexible and patient with us afterwards. I get excited to see his new work regularly. We really couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures.
The photographer was a major choice for us because we had high expectations. Memories and photographs are what you are left with after the day is done. Sam Dean was our guy.
His...
photographs are BEAUTIFUL and he has a very natural photography style. He did a phenomenal job of catching those candid, genuine moments that you just want to remember forever. We are still in awe of some of the pictures he got--he was everywhere and yet his presence never interfered. He was laid back, got our sense of humor and was great fun to work with throughout the entire process. And the value. Sam and his assistant put in over 12 hours on our wedding (plus travel AND editing) without complaint, rushing us or dictating the flow of the day, and without charging us per hour. Now that we have the pictures, they are ours to do what we want to with them. Yes!!
Thank you Sam!
I cannot say enough good things about Sam Dean! Not only was he great to work with prior to the wedding, but the day of he was fantastic - there when I needed him, but not obtrusiv...
e at all. His pictures I believe speak for themselves, and so does the fact that I've had two other friends of mine use him for their weddings and were just as pleased. Besides my groom, he was the best choice I made for my wedding!
I can't say enough fabulous things about Sam Dean Photography. Sam did our engagement pictures as well as captured our wedding day. We knew we were going to love him after our en...
gagement session. It poured rain that day but he still managed to get phenomenal shots, calm me down when I stressed about the rain and put my husband who hates having his picture taken at ease and made him comfortable. On our wedding day he took amazing "action/in-the-moment" shots without being at all intrusive. He was great at assuring he got all my dream shots we had discussed before the big day, being there to capture the special candid moments and kept everyone on schedule, even when I wasn't. I was running behind almost all day and he jumped right in to make it work. I can't say enough about Sam, his services and his candid style of photography. You will not be disappointed, I promise!!
Sam was professional, yet comfortable and friendly. From the moment he met us on our wedding day, the entire day went smoothly. It was like having a good friend around, and at time...
s it was almost like he wasn't even there.
And after our honeymoon, Sam's great photos were waiting for us when we returned.
Humble, professional photographer--pleasant and easy to work with, not pushy. Photojournalistic. His work is true art--some of the best I've seen.
This guy is fantastic. He was, by far, my favorite vendor and most of the others were great. Not only does he take amazing photographs and works hard to get all your "dream shots...
" he also goes out of his way to help you on the big day. I knew he was good going into the wedding but he amazed me the day of. Not only did he do his job as photographer perfectly, he helped keep me on schedule at the reception, helped reel in our photographer we were having problems with, and even saved me from a few not so short conversations with overly enthusiastic wedding guests. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
We were thrilled with the photos that Sam took at our wedding. He's very creative and they all look really original. Not like most wedding photography that you see. We have many pi...
ctures of the two of us that we can't wait to frame. He's also a lot of fun to work with. His prices are very reasonable and he was at our wedding venue for over 12 hours from the time that we were getting ready until we did our exit. He posted pictures to facebook for us to see only a day or two later and the whole gallery was online a few days later. We got to look at them all on our honeymoon and we were so excited. They turned out better than we hoped! We highly recommend working with Sam if you have the opportunity!
I just got my proofs from Sam a couple days ago and am blown away. The pictures are absolutely stunning!! He's a great guy to have around- told me when I needed to hurry up and get...
ready and when it was time to head down the aisle :) We had good contact before the wedding, and on the day he directed me where to go based on our prior arrangements. For a bride who's being pulled in 100 different directions, this is huge. Most importantly, Sam is just a really nice guy and so are his co-workers. His photos are spectacular too. Check out his work- you won't be disappointed.
Sam is truly talented and captured some amazing moments. He is professional easy to work with and a really nice guy. Turnaround time on everything was super quick.
