I went to Salon Salon for my hair and makeup for my wedding and they did a fantastic job! I also had a hair and makeup trial the day before my wedding (since I was from out of town...
) and they were incredibly accommodating. I didn't come with any pictures, just my jewelry, headband, and a general idea of what I wanted, and they were able to come up with a look that was just beautiful. I also had a great time during the entire process, especially since I was able to have my dog in my lap while my hair was being done. On the day of the wedding itself, they also did the hair of several other members of the wedding party, and they all looked beautiful as well. Salon Salon is lovely group of very talented people. Also, the views from their parking lot are stunning!
The ladies at Salon Salon took care of my wedding party with updos, blow outs, and makeup for eight ladies. They’re fun, quick, hospitable, courteous, and very talented. Ranging in...
age from 8 to 55 every one of us was very happy with beautiful hair for the wedding. I’m so glad we chose Salon Salon for our wedding hair and makeup and very much recommend working with them!
I got my hair and nails done at Salon Salon. My hair came out perfectly and didn't move an inch on my wedding day! It looked great. My sister's hair looked gorgeous as well. The s...
alon ran late both on my hair trial and on my mani/pedi so I was a little nervous about it but we were on time for the wedding day, phew!
My nails turned out fine, but it wasn't the best mani/pedi I ever received and it was super overpriced ($60 for a mani/pedi) so I'd recommend going somewhere else for that if you're not afraid it will chip.
In Stowe you have very limited options for hair and nails but you won't go wrong with Salon Salon.
This was a great place for my bridesmaids and I to get ready! We got married in August 2016 and the ladies at Salon Salon were more than accommodating! One of my friends gave me a ...
makeover for a wedding present and the girls at Salon Salon were more than happy to provide services for everybody else except for me. They were super organized with a bridal party of over 12 people and provided the most beautiful hair and makeup! My girls and I were stunning! Katie was responsive and helpful, especially when several of my girls changed their minds at the last minute. I would definitely recommend trying this place out especially if you're going to get married in Stowe! The only thing that could have made this that much more perfect was if they could have come to us for the day!
I only used them for nail services. They were friendly and professional but I did get two infected toes from their equipment.
My five bridesmaids and I had a great time getting our hair and makeup done at Salon Salon. I had a trial the day before, which ended up very similar to my hairstyle the day of the...
wedding. They made us feel comfortable, allowing us to bring our own drinks and snacks, and were open to our own ideas. They were professional, but fun, and I think overall everyone loved the results.
Getting married in Stowe, I felt my options were a bit limited in terms of choosing a reputable salon... I did a little bit of research and found Salon Salon, which I trusted (as ...
it is an Aveda salon).
Scheduling appointments for myself and my bridesmaids was easy. I planned everything through email via a designated coordinator at the salon, with the exception of having to call and leave a credit card number to hold our spot.
I did a makeup and hair trial. In hindsight, I am not sure that I needed to do either ... maybe the hair trial, but definitely not the makeup! We didn't take any notes on the makeup that I had done, and then, thankfully, I did take pictures of my hair (which was good because the hair stylist couldn't find the ones that she took on her tablet..) Either way, my wedding hair was similar to my trial, but definitely not the same! I'm not sure it was really necessary ...
Anyhow, the day before the wedding, I had my nails done prior to my rehearsal dinner. The manicurist was running late (she is also a hair stylist and makeup artist)... It is a very small salon and only allows two people at a time to get their nails done. The quality of mani/pedi was OK, not great. Unfortunately overpriced.
The day of the wedding, the salon was running late again...however, the stylists got everyone in that they needed to, but I obviously would have preferred if they had been running ahead of schedule. They did have another bridal party right before us.
In general, the salon is very quaint, has great products, and talented (and fun) stylists. I am just not sure that Salon Salon is running as smoothly as it has the potential to. I also feel that the cost of things is pretty inflated, but I think that just has to do with the area.
Overall, my bridal party and I had a great time (despite running late, etc.) and we ALL received compliments on how great we looked...which, in the end, as long as you make it to your wedding on time, is all that really matters :)
I had 4 bridesmaids as well as myself getting hair and make up done. We were caught in a parade on the way there and ended up being 20 minutes late, but they were super efficient w...
hile doing an amazing job on hair and make up. Everyone's make up looked so natural yet radiant and I loved how my hair turned out (I had them use some clip in extensions). It even held up pretty well in the pouring rain. Everyone there was fun also!
I chose this hairdresser without doing a trial. I brought a few pictures, and not only did she make it look very similar, but it stayed up all night. My bridesmaids all had there...
hair done there as well, and we were all done on time and looked great!
I am spoiled as my hair stylist, Marie works here. Glenn did a fabulous job with my hair, and it was no easy task with my very fine hair. Marie does an amazing job with make up. ...
Both lasted the entire day with no problems. I would absolutely recommend Salon Salon.
The hair dressers were not very kind. It did not feel like we were getting our hair done for a wedding. We felt very rushed. I would not recommend going to this salon for your we...
dding and bridal party. It was disappointing.
Jenn Sauter of Salon Salon, is a dear friend and miracle worker. She did my hair, and it looked fabulous, even at the end of a humid night of dancing! Not only did she do my hair...
, but she did two of my Bridesmaid's hair AND my mom's hair...in record time! I would recommend Salon Salon not only for weddings, but for monthly hair, nail, and pedicure appointments!
