About this vendor
Located in Salem, OR, the Salem Convention Center is a wedding and event venue. Beautiful, flexible wedding venue to fit your dream, whether you’ve invited 10 people or 800. The Salem Convention Center boasts event spaces that are flexible and allow us the ability to provide the “perfect size” room to host smaller, medium and large wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our venue is perfect for dodging the not-so-predictable weather that Oregon can provide, but still displays the beauty of the outdoors with our floor to ceiling windows in our pre-function and ceremony areas - perfect for photographs! The Salem Convention Center's top-notch catering & bar services set us apart - your event will have an "all under one roof" approach - let our team of experts setup your event, serve your loved ones with a smile and we'll even handle the cleanup! You will get to spend your day stress-free, knowing our team of professionals will handle your event details, while you create the memories! Have your friends and family stay at our adjoining hotel, The Grand Hotel or book your own honeymoon suite for a beautiful, relaxing getaway after your special event (ask us about our sleeping room packages!) Visit Bentley's, our onsite restaurant for your rehearsal dinner, bachelor/bachelorette parties or after party - the Northwest inspired menu is a local treasure! Our venue is conveniently located in Downtown Salem, between Portland & Eugene, and we are easily accessible off I-5. Complimentary parking is provided for all attendees in our underground parking garage. SCC was built on the site of the hundred-year-old Marion Hotel, a premier downtown destination destroyed by a fire in 1971. The venue not only pays homage to Salem's past, it has also helped revitalize Salem's historic downtown. SCC is steps away from unique shops, restaurants, and attractions like Riverfront Park and Carousel, Elsinore Theater, Reed Opera House, the State Capitol and more. Regardless of your event’s size, menu preference or theme, the Salem Convention Center is here for you! Contact our event coordinators today and begin planning an unforgettable, special event!

Our wedding day turned out amazing and we couldn't have done it without the help of the staff at SCC. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, was awesome and super helpful! We used the Cr...
oisan A,B & C rooms as well as the Pringle room. Both spaces were a great fit for our 60 guests. The catering services were fabulous and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this venue.
I would give SCC 5 stars, but there were a few rules and specifications that we were disappointed to discover.
I had my wedding here and it was a fantastic blank slate to turn into whatever I wanted to. We had an entire ballroom and had the ceremony on one side and the reception on another....
It worked out great for the wedding. Sarah was our primary contact and she was delightful to work with and very accomodating. It all went very smoothly even though we were coordinating a lot of people at once. They even let us have bagpipers which are very loud and there were 5 other weddings going on. I win!
The food was awesome. Had some salmon which was cooked perfectly, some perfectly cooked steak with blue cheese butter, a bunch of appetizers that were fantastic including ahi tuna and smoked salmon platter. We even were complemented that the food was like a 5 star restaurant.
Only complaint was that they were the alcohol police. About 1/4 of our party was cut off from drinking, and most of them hadn't been drinking heavily. (there are always a couple, I'll give them that) Everyone even had hotel rooms for that night, and we warned them ahead of time we get rowdy. It still went great, just had to make the bride drink more with everyone! No one can say no to the bride when she goes to order 20 shots :)
They made my dream come true!!
