About this vendor
Woven into the Fabric of Bergen County Since 1974
The superior European tailoring and luxury menswear available at Sal Lauretta for Men is known throughout the Bergen County area in New Jersey, but the story behind the store traces three generations back all the way to the shores of Sicily.
Growing up in Vittoria, Sicily, Sal Lauretta learned the tricks of the men’s tailoring trade from his father Raffaele. He learned how to differentiate between quality material and cheaper cloth, and what nuances of fitting make the cut of a jacket perfect. He learned how the seemingly tiniest of details can affect the entire outcome of a piece of clothing. Little did Sal and his father know then that the art of this classic European tailoring style would be their ticket to success in a new land.

xceptional. George helped my husband find the perfect look. He was warm, knowledgeable and helped strike the perfect balance of a classic look, with a little new-age flare. You want to look your best and your most important day, and Sal Lauretta was instrumental in helping my husband achieve that.

helped us pick out fabric, styles, and a perfect bow tie for our wedding day. I couldn't believe how many customization options there were! In the end, my groom looked stunning and was SO happy to have the suit of his dreams. He stood out and the suit looks amazing in our pictures. And the best part is, unlike renting a tuxedo, he will have the suit forever! I would highly recommend splurging a little on your groom and maybe even the groomsmen. It is definitely worth it!
