The Rustic Rose Barn was everything that we were looking for! They have a beautiful venue, decor to rent/use, and the staff is wonderful to work with. Everyone always answered our ...
questions in a timely manner and they did a lot of organizing on their end to help make the process as stress free as possible. We also really enjoyed the flexibility of the venue regarding other vendors that we could bring in. We were given a list of potential vendors that have high ratings to limit our own searches, but we were still allowed to choose who we thought would fit best, even if they were not on the list. It allowed us to cut costs where we saw fit as well as find the best vendors for us.
This venue also has their liquor license and a fully functional bar with bartenders, which eliminated the task of hiring someone else.
Overall, between the kindness, flexibility, and organization of the staff and the beauty of the location/barn, the rustic rose is a no brainer!
I couldn't be more happy with everything❤️

om the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the picturesque surroundings and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the barn itself.
The attention to detail is impeccable, with the beautiful chandelier, twinkling string lights, and gorgeous décor that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The spacious layout allowed us to accommodate all our guests comfortably while still maintaining an intimate feel.
We can’t forget the beautiful landscape and horses! This made for breath taking photos and videos. Our guests loved this scenery just as much as we did!
The team at the venue went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, from the planning stages right through to the day itself. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day as special as possible. They made us feel like family and couldn’t have asked for a better group of people.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, and we know we’ll cherish the memories made here for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s both enchanting and unforgettable, this barn is truly a dream come true!

special day! We felt very welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout the whole process. The barn is gorgeous and rich with history. While we were wedding planning we discovered that the Antique Carousel in Story City was renovated in the barn in the 1900s, and we reserved the carousel for a private photo shoot and ride during our wedding party photos! We loved the historical tie to our wedding space. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with the large chandelier in the center of the dance floor and the string lights and drapery wrapped around the old wood beams. It’s classically elegant with the perfect touch of rustic. There was plenty of decor to borrow from the wedding but we also liked that we could bring in our own touches. The getting ready rooms were a lovely addition and the girls really liked the style of the bridal suite. We really enjoyed the outdoor space for our ceremony, and the pond for sunset photos. The outdoor patio was also a great place for guests to hangout and socialize after dinner! We received so many compliments on our venue selection and the helpful staff. OVerall we had a great experience and highly recommend the Rustic Rose Barn!
