Ruban Bleu Weddings and Events

I summary. These summaries were long and repetitive, often perpetuating errors down the line since they were obviously never reviewed for accuracy. My lead planner, Shamecha, did not review emails and would miss key information and assigned tasks (such as attending a mandatory planning meeting with the venue). Shamecha and other team members would often use the wrong notes during planning calls, referencing completely different weddings than my own. At one point, they went on a tangent talking about a violinist, despite there being no mention of live music of any kind! They also missed the rehearsal the day before our wedding, and offered no help or solutions to resolve the situation. I was called in the morning to make me aware that no one could be at my rehearsal, I (the bride!) had to frantically make calls to figure something out with no help for the problem they created. Most egregiously, Shamecha was over an HOUR late on the wedding day! When she did arrive, it was clear to me and my entire bridal party that she was unprepared and uninformed. She couldn’t even help with routine tasks like pinning boutonnière or folding pocket squares, and even let guests enter the ceremony in the middle of the bridal party proceeding down the aisle. Stay away from this company, they are unprofessional and simply not good at this job. Even at this price point, there are much better options out there. They could have easily ruined my wedding if not for my bridal party picking up the slack.

hard work Josh and Shamecha took on. They were professional, timely, anticipated all of our needs, and were willing and able to do anything we needed with a smile.  I truly cannot imagine our wedding day going as smoothly as it did without both of them there. And even when some things did not go 100% according to plan, they adjusted and continued to execute without missing a beat. It was truly incredible to have them on the team. 

a steady presence for me. During moments when I felt overwhelmed or like my family didn’t quite understand the pressure I was under, he did. He was always in my corner — offering reassurance, thoughtful insight, and practical advice that genuinely helped make every situation better and eased my stress. On the wedding day, Josh and Shamkia absolutely killed it. From the very start, they were organized, calm, and completely on top of everything. Every detail was exactly where it needed to be, and they worked seamlessly to ensure the day flowed perfectly. Most importantly, they stayed by Andrew and my side the entire day, making sure we were taken care of and shielded from any stress. If an issue came up, we never even felt it — they handled it immediately and professionally, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. I am beyond grateful that I found them. Choosing Ruban Bleu was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Y'all were more than vendors — you were problem-solvers and a true support system. I can’t imagine our wedding experience without y'all, and I will forever be thankful for the care, dedication, and heart that was poured into our day.

On the wedding day itself, because of them, we were able to fully enjoy our day without worrying about a single detail. They handled every moving piece with professionalism, calmness, and care, allowing us to soak in the moment. He even came to the rescue when the groom got a large makeup stain on his white tux! Overall, I couldn't be more grateful to have worked with him and the team. Thank you again for making truly the best day ever!
