About this vendor
Row 24 is a historic wedding venue located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL. Constructed in 1903, this breathtaking venue was once the showroom of the Speedwell Motor Company. Now family-owned and operated, it has been lovingly restored to emulate the glitz and glamour of the Motor Row heyday. The facility is conveniently situated five minutes from Downtown Chicago, close by numerous hotels, and 45 minutes from O’Hare International Airport. Glittering with vintage charm and original architectural details, this property is an unforgettable spot for your celebration.
As you enter Row 24 Events and Productions, you will be transported back in time to the classic elegance of the Motor Age. The loft-style showroom boasts 2,400 square feet of soaring ceilings and exposed brick walls that create a retro and romantic ambiance. Above the spacious dance floor, which can accommodate 270 people for cocktails and 200 seated, sparkles an elaborate Swarovski chandelier. A staircase will take you up to an 800-square-foot mezzanine with hardwood floors and mid-century modern furnishings. Throughout the night of dining and dancing, your guests can order cocktails at the Craft Bar, which houses premium spirits, wine, and beer.
The team at Row 24 Events and Productions have designed a rental process that is convenient and all-inclusive. All bookings come with a dedicated event manager who will work with you and your vendors to organize and execute your celebration. About one month before the festivities, this coordinator will review your plans and create a comprehensive timeline. Wedding packages include 150 natural wood folding chairs, round tables, banquet tables, high boy tables, and two custom mobile bars. A get-ready suite and newly built restrooms are also available. For your entertainment needs, the showroom is equipped with a Sonos sound system, a 65-inch Samsung television, and wireless internet. The team welcomes you to book a tour and let them show you why this venue will never go out of style.

Everything about our experience with Row 24 was absolutely incredible! The space is GORGEOUS with fun details like the loft, chandeliers, and adorable guest bathrooms. The bar was ...
great, and all of the staff working the bar were wonderful. There were a few updates to the venue in between the time we signed our contract and our actual wedding date (photo booth, courtyard out back, etc.), so we got to use these exciting new amenities. The best part about using Row 24 was the incredible team that runs the place! We only met the owners a couple times, but they were absolutely lovely every time. The real gem of this place, though, is their venue manager Lydia! She is absolutely incredible! We also hired her to be our day-of coordinator, and she went above and beyond in helping us ensure that our day was as perfect and special as possible. She handled our decor perfectly, created a PERFECT timeline for the day, somehow managed to wrangle a dozen bridesmaids for the ceremony, reception introductions, and more, *and* made sure we always had a drink in our hands during the reception (and even remembered which one of us doesn't like alcohol and needed the mocktail). She was hired about halfway through our wedding planning process (we had initially hired the previous venue manager as our day-of coordinator, but she had to leave unfortunately), but she jumped into the job and our wedding preparation with 0 hesitation! She was able to take all of the information we had shared with our previous coordinator and run with it, and she made sure that our day matched our vision perfectly.
We highly recommend hiring Row 24. The venue is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the venue manager is an actual angel. This was a very queer wedding that not only focused on a wlw couple, but also included many queer wedding party members and guests, and we all felt safe at this venue and with its team.
We had our wedding at Row 24 on September 2023. Lydia, the venue manager, and the Row 24 team were great to work with. Lydia was super responsive and helpful and went above and bey...
ond to make our day easy and stress-free. The venue itself is beautiful so we did not need much additional decoration. They were accommodating and flexible to make our vision for the day a reality. They have open catering, so we were able to make our wedding very affordable. Once we get divorced, we have both claimed dibs on Row 24 for our next marriage.
My husband and I saw Row 24 early on in our search for a wedding venue. After seeing about 6 more after, we still could not stop thinking about it, so we booked it for our November...
2023 wedding. We could not be happier with our choice. On top of it being an absolutely stunning venue, the staff is incredible, especially the venue coordinator, Lydia. She accomodated every request I had, was flexible when I wanted to make changes to the floor plan, decor, etc., and she was always so responsive. In the days leading up to our event, Lydia made sure to check in to make sure everything was all set. Chris, the owner, worked closely on the day of with my day of coordinator to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We had the most beautiful, incredible wedding day thanks to Row 24 and their staff. I highly highly recommend them as a wedding venue, and as an event venue in general.
As soon as we walked into Row 24, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. We realized we didn’t need to even decorate much, because the space was so beautiful on its own. R...
ow 24 was very responsive, and answered all our questions along the planning process. They were fast and efficient setting up the space, and ensuring our DJ had outlets, and our caterer had space. We absolutely recommend this space to Chicago couples looking to get married.
We just had our wedding at Row 24 and it was perfect! The venue is gorgeous - the chandelier, exposed brick, and ivy walls really give the space a beautiful atmosphere. We worked w...
ith Kelley, who was amazing - she had every detail covered and we didn't have to stress one bit! Would absolutely recommend hosting your event here!!

ff were so professional and efficient. Drinks were perfect and the bartenders were quick! There was even a parking option for our guests that were driving which is hard to come by in the city! We were over the moon with how everything turned out and can’t recommend Row 24 highly enough for your wedding or special event!
My husband and I got married here on 3/25/23 and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Row 24 is such a beautiful venue. From the exposed brick, to the dark ambiance and gorgeo...
us chandelier, to the greenery and string lights, the venue itself was absolutely perfect and we thankfully didn't need to add much decor. From the very start, Row 24 was organized and on top of everything. We worked closely with Kelley and she was amazing! 10/10 would recommend! We hope we can go back for a future event!
If I could give 10 starts I would!!! Where do I begin?? The space is absolutely gorgeous and you don't need a lot of decorations because the room speaks for itself. It was perfect ...
for our wedding reception. Now the true star of the show is Kelley. She is sooo professional, kind, accommodating and very well skilled in her profession. She is patient with the brides, who like myself, second guess their choice as the days are getting closer. She made sure everything was flawless, she never seemed like she was obligated to do anything. You can tell she loves what she does. Our reception truly was perfect from start to finish and it is all thanks to Row 24!
We got married at Row 24 on November 5, 2022 and couldn’t have had a better experience! It was the best day of our lives and the venue and the staff of Kelley and Chris played such...
a big part in that!
The team there goes above and beyond what they are required to do and cares about the small details which is so nice on such an important day.
We are so grateful that we ended up hosting our wedding here and would 1000% recommend this location for future weddings or other events.
Thank you again to Row 24, Chris and Kelley!
Row 24 was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The entire staff went above and beyond. The space itself was beautiful and we received so many compliments from friends and family...
. The bartenders at the venue were also amazing. We can’t say enough good things about our planner we hired through the venue, Stephanie. She made wedding planning so much easier for us & I truly don’t know what we would have done without her! Highly recommend this venue & staff!

alked in the day of I was blown away at how beautiful and "us" they made the space. Thank you so much for creating a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives!!

te as we had to make new arrangements less than two months out. They made a nightmare of a situation less stressful, which we are forever thankful for! A special shout out to Stephanie & Kara for answering my questions so promptly, being so accommodating, and ensuring our wedding went off without a hitch! If you're looking for just a venue space or all inclusive bar package in the South Loop, you won't be disappointed!
This is a beautiful space - can't emphasize that enough! All of our guests commented on it. Hardly needed to decorate - just had linens and center pieces. The staff is friendly, kn...
owledgeable and so easy to work with. We had our caterer of choice - not forced to use their caterer or pick from a list of pre-approved ones. It's near Downtown Chicago, very easy to get to and they offer parking. Will definitely book for a future event.
Our wedding was at Row 24 on November 20, 2021. We LOVED the venue and highly recommend it. Stephanie (the Manger) was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She...
was always very quick to respond to our questions. She is an expert in all-things wedding planning and help paved the way for us to have an unforgettable experience. Stephanie and Kara led the show on the night of our wedding. Kara was my personal attendant and kept bringing me water or whatever I asked for. Both Stephanie and Kara were very attentive and even anticipated all my needs in advance! At the end of the evening, they gathered all our belongings, so it was easy to grab everything together when leaving. Our planning meeting in advance was with Stephanie we had some homework both before and after to figure out all the details. Whatever we wanted— Row 24 made it happen. The space at Row 24 is beautiful. The Loft (for room the ceremony and then dinner) —with the exposed brick, lights, and candles—is just stunning. (Having candles as centerpieces means costs savings, not spending as much on flowers for tables.) It was the perfect urban chic look we wanted. The open concept of having the party flow between floors works well. We were thrilled with our wedding at Row 24!!
From the moment we walked in , we loved it! My now husband =) , and I were searching for a venue that was different yet elegant, and Row 24 captured it right away. We loved the bu...
ilding and architectural allure immediately, and once we sat with the Stephanie we knew we had to get married here! I, myself, am not great at party planning and they had every detail covered which made everything seamless. By far my favorite thing about Row 24 is they take the time to listen to what you want and also ensure that you and your spouse get the time you need together on yourself wedding day. Friends and family are still raving how they have never been to a wedding like ours and how priceless it is. We highly recommended and are already hoping to have another event there!
You can stop your search right here, you have found the location for your next event. The pictures alone do not do this space the justice it deserves. This beautiful, exposed bri...
ck building can be transformed into anything you desired it to be! That is what we did! Our wedding here was not only memorable for the event, but for the location as well. People will come for the food, drink, and dancing, people will leave talking about the chandelier, foliage walls, and decor. Every corner of this place is photo-ready to grab that quick shot for Instagram or have a professional portrait taken. Most importantly, the prices are fair and reasonable especially compared to other locations close by. The staff and owners will treat you like old friends throughout the entire experience and that goes such a long way to help create your special day. The only limit this place has is your imagination...so what are you waiting for? Make an inquiry!
The wedding space is beautiful, and the price was pretty good for the area. Overall the wedding turned out great. Of all our vendors they seemed the least well organized. They o...
ften took a long time to respond to emails, or we had to make multiple attempts. In the last few months before our wedding they hired a new secretary, which seemed to help a lot. Hopefully that helps. The day of the wedding was perfect. Drinks were perfect.
I was on the fence about hiring a planner and I am SO glad that I did! I immediately fell in love with the space when I came for the first time, but was a little unsure on how ever...
ything would work—I am definitely not a planner. I did my walk through with Chris and Dana (the owners) and they suggested that I reach out to their venue manager, Stephanie, for planning services and I am so glad I did. Stephanie and her team at Row 24 went above and beyond to make my wedding day (and leading up to it), flawless. I DIY’d a lot of my decor and Stephanie and her team made sure every detail was covered- from getting on ladders to hang stuff, to bringing back up pens for the guest book (whoops!), Stephanie even picked up my personal flowers and dropped them off to the hotel in the morning for photos! Chris, Dana, and Stephanie provided so many amazing suggestions that I didn’t even think of. Dana even owns a bridal salon called Pin Me Up and she and her team got me and my girls ready at the hotel in the morning- honestly there is nothing this group cannot handle!! It is super obvious that the team at Row 24 is a family- they work together so effortlessly and always with a giant smile. My day could not have been smoother, and I am so thankful for the team at Row 24 for making it happen!
First off, the venue itself is amazing! If you’re looking for a Chicago style building (exposed brick, a beautiful chandelier and all the pretty stuff) this is the perfect place. F...
rom the beginning plans to our wedding night the customer service from everyone apart of Row 21 was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking in the Chicago area!

d I set out to pick our venue I was nervous and stressed (this literally was the most overwhelming part of wedding planning to me). When we walked into Row 24 Stephanie greeted us and made us feel right at home, and that is what you get when you work with Row 24. A family run business that makes sure to have everything you need right when you need it! She was able to answer every single question I fired off at her, she was able to talk to us about how other people had set up their weddings, and the entire time she did it with a smile.
While working with a family owned and operated business was the selling point for us, Row 24 is also a stunning venue. They have a gorgeous sky light, a mezzanine level that over looks the first floor and exposed brick. This venue is a blank canvas that you can beautify any way you see fit!
One of the coolest parts of working with Row 24 was getting to hear all the magnificent things the vendors we partnered with said about Chris, Dana. They all said how much they enjoyed partnering with them and how professional they are, and after a year of planning and working with them we too say the same. Row 24 we can’t thank you enough for the beautiful space, awesome atmosphere, fun photobooth, and care you put towards our Wedding day!
ROW 24 was just the perfect venue for our wedding of a little over 100 guests. My husband and I were looking for a venue that had it's own charm and character as well as a managem...
ent team that was flexible and open to some of our very non-traditional ideas for our wedding day. We knew instantly after our first meeting with the owners, Chris and Dana, that ROW 24 was it!!!!
Chris, Dana, and our on site manager Stephanie were all so incredibly organized and responsive while working with us on all the specific details. THE SPACE: The floor to ceiling brick walls and vintage pieces thoughtfully scattered through all the nooks of the space were the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Photos are coming in and they are just perfect. We had our ceremony in the round on the main level under the stunning chandelier and had over 100 family and friends quickly relocate upstairs for our cocktail hour as the room was flipped downstairs for our food truck dining reception. YEP!!! Ya heard right. ROW 24 was the ONLY venue in Chicago that was so receptive to our decision to have a food truck vendor for our wedding. We were on a budget and really wanted to create an experience were guests would mix and mingle and enjoy a unique experience. Without hesitation Chris and Dana were open to the use of a food truck vendor and there was a loading spot right out in front of the venue. Everything was seriously seamless. The bartenders were so friendly and so professional. They really treated our guests with quick efficient and friendly service.
If you want to feel taken care of by industry professionals I would highly recommend booking your event at ROW 24.
Row 24 is the most beautiful and elegant venue that I had the honor of celebrating my wedding. Managment and staff are very professional and helpful before and during the wedding. ...
Not only do they offer a beautiful establishment their recommendations were amazing. I highly recommend Row 24 for weddings or any occasions!

op you get the wonderful surroundings of the city but not the craziness of downtown.
The owners, Dana and Chris, were wonderful. They went above and beyond on our special day to make sure everything was stress free and beautiful. They are the type of owners that really care to make your day special. They were always on top of communication and were always there to help with anything we needed. We really felt like their only clients, even during their busiest season. The staff they provided was also professional and fun while interacting with our guests.
I would recommend Row 24 for anyone’s wedding as well as any special event . You cannot go wrong with this place .

he layout and were super helpful day of! Row 24 is a beautiful space with well thought out accents and fixtures. I would recommend going with Row 24 to any and everyone. Totally worth it! The only constructive criticism I would say is that they should update their sound system and discontinue the use of the app that goes with it. We opted out of having a DJ because they have this app and sound system as an option but it didn’t work for us. Just get a DJ! Lol. Other than that, it’s an amazing venue that you shouldn’t pass up!
My wedding day was an absolute dream! I couldn’t have made my vision come true without the help of Dana and Chris, the owners of Row 24.

cess. From the moment we booked the space to the very last moments of our wedding, the entire team was working hard to make sure that I, and my guests, were taken care of. Every single detail was meticulously taken care of and it lifted an huge burden off my shoulders. They even worked with my vendors weeks prior to my wedding to verify details for the day of.
I was blown away with how everything looked when I arrived to the venue on my wedding day.
Without Dana, Chris, and the entire staff at Row 24, my wedding wouldn’t not have been as gorgeous as it was.
I almost wish I could get married again just to use the space!
If we were to do it all over again, we would choose Row 24 10000x again and again. From the first email contact, Stephanie was super attentive, amazing to answer any and all ques...
tions and always maintained professionalism with a warm heart. The space is absolutely transformative into anything you'd dream up. They were able to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, making seamless transitions from one to the other, all while leaving us and our guests amazed at the consideration and detail by all staff members. Our guests, still, bring up how delicious the food and custom drinks were the entire day. Row 24 will forever have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to our future together.
This is long overdue… Our wedding at Row 24 was amazing!!!

party use. The venue is gorgeous and unique but what truly sets this venue apart are the owners. They are wonderfully accommodating, understanding, and make great partners for your day. They worked with our planners as well as us to make sure the things we wanted happened. I can’t rave enough about these two people who also got married in their own venue. We would recommend them as partners and their venue without question and even that doesn’t seem like thanks enough for the most wonderful day!

h over 100 guests comfortably accommodated. With an open concept, exposed brick and charming accents it was the perfect setting for our enchanted forest/happily ever after themed event. The venue is a clean blank canvas that lends itself to your creativity. Overall the owners were fair, flexible and extremely accommodating. We felt like family throughout the entire experience and still do. No complaints. I highly recommend Row 24 and will always consider their venue for future events!
Row 24 was totally amazing for my wedding. We had 100 guests and everyone had the most amazing time. Food options were there. Drink options were there. The DJ had plenty of space. ...
We were able to have a really great dance floor and everyone had a blast!!! The owners are totally accommodating. The space is fairly new and completely renovated which makes for a really amazing pictures. If you’re looking to have an amazing wedding without spending $250,000 this is totally the space to do it at! When you are at the venue they have a private upstairs area which makes for AMAZING shots from the photographer, can be a VIP area, or you want it or you can totally customize it however you want!! Row 24 works hand-in-hand with Pin Me Up Chicago which makes it really easy to book not only the venue but also hair and make up at the same location. Row 24 has a really really awesome getting ready area for the bride and the bridal party which makes it a one stop shop!!! We wanted our guests to have a really amazing time without having to spend a fortune and at row 24 we were able to do just that! I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides looking for a venue with a budget!!!

Dj and Dana came to the rescue. She’s definitely supportive in making sure your event is an success! She has so many things under her belt(makeup and hair also). She very resourceful. I used some of her referrals and they were amazing and punctual. You couldn’t ask for a better venue on top of being absolutely beautiful. My wedding was the talk of the town. It has a very intimate feel and that’s what I was looking for. And I. Ant wait to do business again with them. She’s family now! I just love her!

terstate for all my out-of-towners, and there was plenty of free street parking around, so I didn't even need to use the parking lot they offered. It is a warm and intimate environment while remaining dazzling and impressive. From the moment I walked in, my jaw dropped. The layout is so different and gave me the opportunity to use the space however I wanted! The management is really thoughtful and supportive, and all the venue's staff members were incredibly kind and professional. This venue worked with everything I wanted to do, and truly made the event a success.

h is fantastic for events of all sizes, budgets and cuisines. Parking in the area is street parking or metered parking however very few city venues provide parking spots which is to be expected. Tables/Chairs included in venue rental and Dana/Chris are great to work with from venue selection to day-of event production! They were very responsive during the pre-planning phase and were always accommodating! The venue is steps from McCormick Place and nearby hotels makes it a great place for weddings and special events. Thanks Row 24 Team! Pleasure working with you on the August 2018 Wedding!
-Love, your friends at: Wedicity - Wedding & Event Detailing
We found Row24 through family friends when we were looking for a venue for our wedding in Aug 2018. Let me just say the chandeliers were the automatic “yes” for me in the door and ...
the vintage look and brick walls were the yes for my now husband. When we visited with Chris to see the venue, ask questions he was nothing but a great host, answered all questions and the price was the best we had encountered compared to several other locations we had looked at. By the end of our meeting we pretty much were already setting up a date and when we could put the deposit down. Chris kept in touch and answered any questions closer to the wedding. Day of wedding 08.04.18 Chris and Dana were great. Dana came in to check on me in the bridal room to make sure I didn’t need anything and my husband, Chris, my wedding planner, sister and brother in law made sure everything ran smoothly. Looking at the pictures that we took for the wedding with our decor it just completes how we felt about the venue. Not one bad picture in the house. Every picture came out gorgeous because of the background we had. So glad we were able to book with Row24 and have been able to tell friends and family about it. The family and friends that attended all agreed it looked gorgeous! Thanks Row24 our wedding was a success at this venue.

ess transition from the start of our ceremony, to flipping the room for our reception. They also provided the bar options and everyone had an AMAZING time! Dana and Chris also were very proactive in working with the other vendors we hired, so that was a huge relief for my husband and me! Not only did Dana and Chris do a great job, but the venue is absolutely beautiful. I loved how versatile it is, and how you can style it any way you want (also there is an open vendor policy!). Dana also knows a TON of vendors and can be very helpful with suggesting different people to work with. Thank you Dana and Chris - we love Row 24!

with the other aspects of the event I needed. They were extremely accommodating allowing us 2 opportunities to walk through the venue to envision what all we were going to do. At the walkthrough they went so far as to even offer ideas on best setup for the best experience. Lastly, the venue is beautiful and all my guests were thoroughly impressed right when they walked in the doors. Love the Fountain's (the owners) and love this venue!
