The flowers were my favorite aesthetic element of our wedding, and that is all thanks to Roots Floral Design. I fell in love with Kaytee's work when I first saw it. For my wedding ...
I gave her a color palette idea, and had full faith that she would come up with something amazing. What she designed was so much better than anything I could have imagined. I loved the natural, organic, and dimensional quality of our flowers. Her style is so romantic and a little whimsical and now a year later, I still get people commenting on how gorgeous and unique our flowers were. We were so lucky to have Roots be a part of our wedding creative team!
I do not think of myself as much of a "flowers" person-- in fact, I asked my partner to stop getting me flowers for Valentine's day the first year of our relationship because I jus...
t didn't like them that much. When I filled out my survey after initially contacting Kaytee I wrote that I didn't think flowers would be that big or important part of the wedding day. We went through a few proposal versions, and I sent Kaytee what I was thinking. I didn't want formal flowers like roses and other blooms; I wanted lots of texture, delicate wildflowers, a whimsical vibe. To be honest, I was a little worried leading up to the wedding day that the florals wouldn't be what I was hoping for, since it was a pretty non-traditional request. But OH. MY. GOSH!!!!! They were ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL! Every. single. arrangement. From the table arrangements, to my bridal bouquet, to the meadow escort card display, to the urn on the bar, to the huge water towers on either side of us during our ceremony. Every last one was so carefully and perfectly put together. Kaytee was able to bring to life a something that FAR EXCEEDED what I was envisioning. She absolutely blew me away. I could not have imagined more "me" arrangements-- she absolutely saw what I was envisioning and took it ABOVE AND BEYOND. The florals ended up being THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of our decor, truly setting the magical tone for the entire wedding. They were absolutely stunning. If you are considering Roots, truly look no further than Kaytee. Trust this gem of a florist-- she will deliver everything you are hoping for and more.
MUST BOOK! Kaytee was above and beyond for my June 12, 2021 wedding at Peterloon Estate. It was 90 degrees and the flowers looked fresh and stunning. Kaytee worked with Samantha Jo...
y Events to create a jaw dropping ceremony and reception. I got butterflies down the aisle at the sight of my floral altar alone. Book her and remember this:
- Kaytee came to the venue for a walk through and suggested a few adds ons. I am NOT lying when I say those add ons are the flowers I remember the most. She is not trying to upsell -- she truly has an incredible eye for talent. You need to trust her -- our ceremony urns completely changed the look and feel of our ceremony and reception. A priceless upgrade that I would never have came up with myself.
- I gave Kaytee one simple design aspect I like and she took it and ran -- my guests uploaded so many pictures of the beautiful table setting thanks to her centerpieces. She is so talented!
- She created the most perfect floral dog collar that was the talk of the night!
Thank you Kaytee for your kindness, patient, and talent. Thank you for being flexible in the heat and for making my wedding a dream. I will forever look for a reason to buy flowers from you!!
Kaytee is an amazing floral designer! We found her through our wedding planner Ashlee Wooten with Eva and Co. After looking through her Instagram profile, we knew we had to have he...
r! She even worked with our budget. Kaytee captured and created everything we wanted in our flowers. We wanted a more natural/ greenery theme. She listened to everything that we wanted and also mentioned things that we didn’t even know we needed (cake flowers and etc). She walks you through your whole process from beginning to end. Our wedding was originally planned for May, and we had to postpone it to October. Fortunately, Kaytee was able to still be our florist! She still created our spring-time floral dream of pinks, blues and greenery. We had SO many compliments about how beautiful our florals were. From our floral design on our arches, to our centerpieces, to the bride’s amazing bouquet! We are even in the process of getting it preserved! She also had a wonderful take home service where she comes in an hour or two before the reception ends and creates all the centerpieces into smaller take home arrangements for the guests to take home. This was a hit! It’s a great favor for guests and we loved this idea. If you’re thinking about having Roots Floral Design (Kaytee and her team) design flowers for any occasion, you will be making the best decision! Thanks so much Kaytee!!

nd out, and was environmentally friendly. Kaytee was 100% the answer to all my floral dreams! Kaytee was so helpful in providing advice along the way as we brought our floral vision to life. I wanted something different (in just about every way), and Kaytee delivered. She has such a gift for design, innovation, and creativity and we were beyond thankful for her expertise. Even when we ran into some last minute design issues, Kaytee got on a phone call with my sister & MOH and fixed up the issues overnight before driving up to my Cleveland/Akron area wedding. I was amazed she was able to turn everything around so elegantly! I was also insistent my florals were to be donated to a group or charity in need after my wedding and Kaytee helped make this happen for me out of the generosity of her heart. She's not only a new mama, small business owner, and incredible florist, but she really does have a heart of gold and anyone would be lucky to work with her!
Kaytee is an absolute GEM!
She has so much passion and care for what she does, that you feel like she's a friend more than a vendor.

ll of greenery for our ceremony space. Her team not only sets up all of the florals, but they also come and tear down everything at the end of the night. My family and I didn't have to worry about any clean up. Kaytee was extremely professional and sweet through the entire process. I'm so happy we found her and she was available for our date.

was the very first vendor I chose for the wedding (even before the venue) and she lived up to all my expectations and went above and beyond. Kaytee is very skilled at making arrangements that are both whimsical and romantic. Her bouquets and center pieces have a gardeny feel. Each time I met with her I felt confident that she completely comprehended my wants and would fashion them into something that looks put together, yet natural. The visual presentation she prepares for you beforehand is incredible. The day-of she silently transformed a bland rustic space into an enchanting, romantic barn. I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful or unique.

f my vintage bohemian wedding. (It truly was spot on considering all the info came from the small questionnaire I filled out as part of the inquiry) She was open to my requests and knowledgeable about what she could offer to fit my dream wedding. Not only did she take a personal approach to connecting with her client, her authenticity and genuine caring spirit came across in every interaction we shared in the 8 months. The day of - - - I am still in awe in how perfect everything centerpiece, bouquet and boutonnière turned out. My bouquet was unique and was everything I wanted and more. I will never know to what lengths Kaytee went to to help set up my reception, but knowing her, I’m sure she went above and beyond the call of duty. I whole heartedly recommend Roots Floral Design for your wedding or next special event.
Kaytee has been nothing short of AMAZING!! From the first time we met with her I knew that she would be able to make all of my wedding flower dreams come true! And that is exactly ...
what she did! From my bouquet, to all of the personals for the wedding party, to filling the terrariums that my mom and I bought for my centerpieces! She never hesitated to help us with suggestions or brain storm when changes needed to be made. Even with her moving out of the state that I live in, she never missed a meeting or detail! Kaytee and her assistant even stayed to make sure all of the transition from cocktail hour location to our dinner location was as smooth and seamless as we wanted! Our day was so perfect and a HUGE reason why was because of Kaytees' professionalism and passion for her business! Thank you so much Kaytee! I would recommend Roots Floral Design to anyone and everyone!!
