Rolling Ridge was absolutely amazing for my May 2025 wedding. The venue was beyond perfect to bring my wedding vision to life. All of my many many questions while planning were ans...
wered super quickly and there were so many helpful tips sent along the way. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, dinner inside the main barn and then danced the night away outside under the stars. Absolutely perfect for our 135 guest wedding. And the catering was SOOO delicious!!! Would highly highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing private wedding venue. And might I add totally worth the drive from the twin cities.
We absolutely loved everything about Rolling Ridge. We toured numerous venues but the moment we drove onto the property, we both got that feeling that “this is the one.” The entire...
Rolling Ridge team was great to work with. The newly remodeled bridal suite was stunning and we appreciated all the various onsite photo locations. We can’t wait to continue to attend Wood Fire Wednesdays as well. Randy, the owner, honestly makes you feel like part of the family! We hope that someone we know chooses Rolling Ridge too, so we can enjoy another wedding there.
The professionalism, communication, and variety of options provided by Rolling Ridge were exceptional. We specifically chose this venue because it provided a space for our bridal p...
arty to get ready, a ceremony space, a bar for cocktail hour, and a space for the reception all in one connected building. It is necessary to know before booking this venue that they have an exclusive contract with their catering company (who we also enjoyed working with) so no outside food is allowed on the grounds. Set-up packages are an additional cost and access to the facility for a rehearsal or prior to 8AM on the day of the event is also an additional cost. They were transparent with pricing, and we found the venue to be worth every penny we paid! The spaces are stunning, well kept, and the staff answered every question along the way. We greatly appreciated their flexibility with us as both my spouse and I are from out-of-state. Every guest complimented the facilities!
I absolutely loved getting married at Rolling Ridge and would recommend! The staff are awesome and made things super smooth and easy throughout the planning process. We loved the b...

My husband and I toured this venue during the winter and were just blown away by the way it looked! We got married in the fall of 2024 and it was the best day ever. The colors were...
perfect. I love that there was so many different areas to do a ceremony and how spaced out the venue was. My husband isn’t much of a “dancer” so it was important to have a space the boys could hang out and still be able to have a conversation without music blaring in their ears. I highly recommend this venue!
I had my wedding there in September of 2024 and could not be happier with this venue. My guests loved the atmosphere and we got so many compliments after our wedding day. The staff...

g arrangements, and so much more! They gave us a great recommendation for our DJ (Digital Encore). During the summer they have Bonfire Wednesdays in which you have the opportunity to listen to live music, eat pizza, and show loved ones the venue. We went many times and it made planning with our florist easier. We got a lot of compliments on the venue from our guests. I would recommend Rolling Ridge if you want a beautiful and stress free wedding.

The staff was incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was flawless. And the amenities! Luxurious bridal suite, elegant barn, every space was perfect. It was the perfect setting for our fairytale wedding. I can't recommend this venue enough!

er not finding anything that matched what we wanted closer to home. As soon as we parked at the venue, I looked at my now-husband, and said "we're getting married here". We also took advantage of some of the wood-fired Wednesdays to help with visually planning where we wanted decor to go. That's where we worked with Nikki and got all of our questions answered. When we did our final walk through with Jill, she made sure everything was documented for the day to a T so everyone was on the same page. When gotI got to the venue, my MOH and I met with Maddy, our event coordinator for the day, and she was present and available for anything we needed last minute in regards to setup and executing the plan we had made. The day went amazing! We only got a bit behind but that was mostly due to me and my husband wanting to get more pictures in. The whole team at Rolling Ridge is so supportive and their property is so beautiful. We couldn't recommend them more!
The most beautiful venue for the most perfect day! We received countless compliments from our guests. We appreciated the options of both indoor and outdoor spaces, especially with ...

The Rolling Ridge and Custom Catering professionalism and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing my wife and me to fully enjoy our special day. Rolling Ridge exceeded our expectations and provided us with a flawless, unforgettable wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our love! So thankful we picked Rolling Ridge!

We attended a summer wedding at Rolling Ridge for our very best friends. Leading up to the wedding we were part of every process and couldn't believe the value Rolling Ridge provid...
ed for our friends in their flat facility rental fee that included SO MANY extras. The venue is stunning and private, there were so many spaces that could be utilized for every element of the wedding. Knowing all of this before showing up on the day of the event still didn't prepare us for the incredible experience we had. The ceremony was intimate and emotional on the ridge covered by massive oak trees, the dinner inside the historic barn was served professionally, the food was delicious and it was fresh, the bar service was excellent and the couples signature cocktail was so good. As part of the bridal party we got to hang out in the basement speakeasy which felt exclusive and was a great place to take a few moments to ourselves during the day. And then we ended the night dancing away underneath the stars in the courtyard and snacking on delicious woodfired pizzas. I don't think we've had such a beautiful, fun and relaxed experience at a wedding and that is largely due to how easy Rolling Ridge made the day with all their onsite services and inclusions. We highly recommend!
September 2023 - We had the most perfect day! As mom of the bride, I got to attend the final walk through with Nikki about a month prior to wedding. She did a fabulous job talking ...
through all the details and was readily available to answer questions as we did some mock decor setups. Day of, Custom Catering staff was at our disposal. They were very efficient in their set up so we could take care of our decor and final touches. Our day of coordinator was very helpful, in particular taking care of some tasks we didn't have time for (turning on lantern candles while we enjoyed happy hour!). What I loved most was the expanse of this property for our guests to enjoy. It was a beautiful day so we were able to enjoy every inch of the place - indoor and out. The catering staff and bartenders were on top of everything ... very professional and wonderful with our guests. One last thing - I had used a crochet hook to secure the buttons on my daughter’s dress and it didn't make it back from wedding. It was from my mother in law who is deceased so it had some sentimental value. I called Nikki two weeks after the wedding to see if it had been found. It had not. A few hours later, I had gotten a message that they did a deep dive into the couch cushions in the bridal suite and found it! I appreciated the extra effort:)
We got married at Rolling Ridge in August and I can honestly say it was the perfect day! They made everything so easy and stress free by having us come out to the venue a month bef...
ore to walk through final details. Plus we were able to go on Wednesday nights during Woodfired Wednesday to plan by ourselves which was nice because we got to experience kind of what the atmosphere might be like! We got married on a Friday and were able to do our rehearsal dinner and set up there the night before which was great, but I think we totally would have had enough time had we just had one day because doing everything there and having Custom Catering set up the dinner and ceremony seating meant we had very little to do--our photographer commented that it was the first wedding she'd ever done where hair and make up were done ahead of schedule and I honestly think it was because we could start at 8am and had nothing else to do! 100% would recommend this venue to everyone; it was perfect!
It was a beautiful venue, but was extremely expensive. They make you pay for absolutely everything but linens. They forbid outside food and beverages except for dessert/cake and th...
en force you to use their catering service only. No one mentioned that there wasn’t a freezer and our wedding cake was ice cream cake, so that was a disaster. The day of coordinator appeared to be a very new young girl who didn’t seem very experienced. And you have to do a rehearsal the same day or pay an arm and a leg if your wedding is on a Saturday. Apparently the kids meals were so over cooked the kids couldn’t eat them, the veggies were definitely not what we had seen and tasted with the caterer. At least there is a playground for the kids and they let us haul in our own arch and get married in between the oak trees. I was very disappointment with the customer service and felt pulled around by all the extra charges I didn’t realize we would need. Like insurance and lunch packages.
We wouldn’t have changed a single thing for our wedding on October 9,2022. The service was excellent. The grounds were in perfect fall colors. We had a string quartet, and there we...

A friend of mine decorated the outside and inside areas, and the look was so classy.
We had specific requests—like a unique square design for tables for the meal. The staff helped us to make it a reality.
The root cellar was a cool place for the guys to get ready for the ceremony. The bridal area was roomy and well laid out for all of the ladies in our party.
Cocktail hour was in the bar area and outside seating adjoining, complete with Adirondack chairs and bonfires.
The meal was delicious and served professionally.
We had a twist contest during our dance and it was such fun!!
The historic barn was the ideal venue for our dinner and dance.
We had guests stay at the Hilton Garden Suites which was less than a 10 minute drive away.
We were so lucky to have Rolling Ridge in central MN! They made our day one of good memories.

ue! The staff was extremely helpful and answered every email we sent promptly and was super personable in every interaction we had with them via email and in person. The space was huge inside and outside of the venue so our guests were able to roam around. The barn was the perfect setting for the amount of guests we had and we also loved the dance floor being outside with lots of nice lighting. Our guests still talks about how beautiful the venue was!

for a July wedding day. We loved the onsite bridal suite for getting ready in the morning, but because we couldn't have access to the venue until 8am, we did have to start hair at the hotel. The guys getting ready space (rooster's roost) was not adequately climate controlled with a wall mounted AC unit, so they found space in the central part of the venue to hang out which led to a few close calls where the bride and groom almost ran into each other. Rolling Ridge staff were helpful making sure all of the details were addressed in the final walkthrough and answering last minute questions via email to help the day go smoothly.
There are additional fees outside of the base rental price, which is already quite high compared to other venues in the area that we toured. These fees include optional rental of an additional space downstairs (which would be an excellent area for the guys to get ready in a climate controlled space), set up of tables and chairs for dinner in the barn, and event insurance purchased by the couple. While they are transparent about these costs, it seems as though the high rental fee should cover more of an "all-inclusive" experience where the couple doesn't have to worry about coordinating and paying for these extra options. By working with Rolling Ridge, you are locked into working with Custom Catering by Short Stop for all food & beverage needs throughout the day (including breakfast and lunch if onsite for those times of the day). There were times where miscommunication occurred between venue staff, our Custom Catering event coordinator, and our Custom Catering day of coordinator which took time to resolve.
Overall, we received many compliments about the beauty of the venue and loved the indoor and outdoor spaces available for pictures and celebrating throughout the night. However, considering the price we paid, we wish customer service would have been more personalized. We didn't know who our point of contact for the venue was until our final walkthrough 3 weeks before the wedding. We felt as if we were just another wedding in their books and it took away from the feeling that they viewed our day as a special and one-of-a-kind event like we did.

itself. Rolling Ridge offered a great space to host all of our guests and offer them multiple spaces to gather, inside and outside. We planned to have our ceremony outside but the weather had other ideas and we had to make a day-of change, which was easy and painless because of the indoor ceremony space options and flexibility of Rolling Ridge staff. Later in the day, the rain cleared and we were able to enjoy the courtyard during cocktail hour. When it was time for the dance, rain was threatening again and we set up the dance indoors. Having all of these beautiful spaces made it easy for us to work with the weather without ruining our day or causing extra stress. And it turned out perfectly despite the changes. We would definitely recommend Rolling Ridge for anyone hoping to get married in central Minnesota!

fortable. I loved that I didn’t have to have too much decor because of how beautiful everywhere is outside and inside the barn as well. The staff were extremely helpful, reliable and easy going. We picked this venue pre-Covid and were thrilled to be able to have space for guests to celebrate with us however they were comfortable. The highlight for us and the thing that our guests still rave about was having an outdoor dance under the stars and twinkling lights! Highly recommend having your big day here.. it is the best!

~~ Mr and Mrs Jacobsen!
Totally thought we left this review earlier, but better late than never! Rolling Ridge was the perfect event for our wedding! From the first time we toured with Randy we knew it ...
was the place for us. Both Brooke and Randy were very patient and helpful in the planning process and made us feel comfortable on our wedding day. We really appreciated the upfront pricing and "non hidden fees" that Rolling Ridge had. If you have looked at other venues you know there can be a lot of hidden fees and we feel that RR was very up front with what was included in the price. Everything went off without a hitch. We were glad to have the option of an indoor plan B in place, as even in May the weather turned for the worse but we had fast turnaround for a beautiful indoor ceremony.
The only comment for improvement we would note is that the Rooster's Roost could really use a space heater so you don't have to bring your own when it's cold out.
Thanks guys!

All aspects of staff involvement were pleasant. Brooke was amazing to work with when planning our special day. Our day of coordinator Lyndsey had such a positive attitude and was super sweet, helpful, and available throughout the entire day to assist with any needs that came up! Hailey with custom catering was super friendly and easy to work with. We received great feedback on all our food and the service provided. 6/5 stars!
