ype B bride that wanted to be type A. I also did not have certain vendors contact info until the week of the wedding and things got lost in distribution. I put a lot of trust in Heather (our day of coordinator) because she was the professional here. For initial conversation, we went over the three important things to me: set up, take down, and smooth transition of events. The next conversations were much closer to the wedding. During these conversations, it seemed that Heather really wanted to excuse herself from having to take down the decorations. She tried to ask if I could convince my bridesmaids as "it's typically their duties" or leave stuff at the venue overnight. I put my foot down and offered the option of having things get taken down once we moved to dancing. We discussed the rehearsal, and she was able to convince me her presence wasn't needed. She had (what seemed to me) a condescending reason why she didn't need to be there. Two days before the wedding, I sent photos of the decor. I'll admit, I could have gotten them to her sooner, but I had other things that were more of a priority. The Friday before the wedding, she told me that she could not assemble the arch we had discussed about prior, and I had to assign someone else to it. I expressed my disappointment and the ease of the task of 6 screws with an Alan wrench. I was able to assemble it on my own in my house. She then changed her mind and said she would enlist more help and that of the venue manager. On the wedding day, we had a slight discrepancy regarding starting time, but my bride brain never wrote it down or internalized it. Before the ceremony, she decided to flip the processional line and have the women be on the right and men on the left and said that's how it always is (even though a quick google search says otherwise). Our whole wedding party was then turned around because it was not what we rehearsed (Heather convinced me she didn't need to be there). After the ceremony, about 10 minutes before the grand entrance, my bridesmaid said the vendors were uncomfortable sitting at a main table. I asked who? She responded with Heather and the DJ. I had her check with the DJ who said that he was cool with it. It was only Heather. I was livid in the moment at the lack of professionalism before my eyes. I sent her the seating chart 5 days before the wedding. I don't believe she looked at the chart because I had guests who I had specifically asked to be seated next to each other. She supposedly set the table. I set up my name cards and put positions on the back to ensure they would be sat next to one another. Come to find out, that didn't happen. I had married couples sitting apart from one another. I will say, Heather did fulfill her expected duties as well as did a good job keeping us on time and on track. Everyone wants to talk to the bride and groom, but we had a timeline to follow. Overall, I wasn't too pleased with this company and cannot recommend them. The bare minimum was done, and it did not feel personalized, except for the headaches. Curiously, I asked our event manager how much involvement he had with set up, he said a lot (which was not his job). The price was attractive, but I would rather have spent more at a different company to ensure this didn't happen.

ge and we are so glad we did. They made everything feel effortless (or as their planner put it, “easy button” and it really was). Their entire team worked seamlessly together and even stepped in to assist our venue coordinator with a last minute room change during their downtime. It didn’t go unnoticed and was so appreciated. We’re still waiting on our photos and video since our wedding was just two weeks ago but Chris already reached out personally to let us know they’re almost ready. We’re beyond excited to see the final edits. HIGHLY recommend Rockstar Weddings to all my fellow Cincinnati brides—you will not regret it!

us with guidance and overall preparation. We knew that the first step in finding our vendors was to find a solid wedding planner and coordinator. As I was browsing through the knot and wedding wire we came across rockstar and sent an inquiry out. We received a response within 2 minutes which was already shocking (in a great way of course) Chris helped us with wedding planning services through several emails, phone calls, and video meetings. During this process he recommended his team of djs, photographers, and videographers (also we ended up going with uplighting and sparklers because the deal was too good to pass up.) We bundled everything together and it was the best decision we have made as a couple next to getting married. This instantly simplified everything and we didn't have to reach out to 100 vendors hoping and praying that they were decent. -service was 10/10 -super fun group 10/10 -pricing was fair 10/10 -photos and videos 10/10 we are obsessed with our online gallery and highlight video!!! -DJ 10/10 played everything we asked for and all of our guest requests. Angelo & Darien were lively and energetic.

a day of coordinator with my venue that basically just made sure dinner was on time. Heather did the rest, including helped me plan decor...this went a little beyond her contract scope but she was always happy to assist. We are newer to our area and don't have a lot of close friends or family, everybody came from out of town. Heather made me feel like I was planning with a sister. It meant the world to me that everything worked out as she assured me it would. We also had Rockstar for our DJ, and Diallo was nothing short of awesome! The music was perfect the whole night and the lighting was just enough. Honestly even though it can be stressful, I would do it all over again with this team!

everything that we needed, even medication for my MOH that just found out she is having a little girl! We didn't have our DJ picked and Heather got us one from Detroit that was hands down the best we have ever heard. Thank you Heather and rockstar, you guys are the best!

e with insider venue information that landed us at the venue which was the size we needed and the things we wanted (we wanted mostly DIY but help with catering etc) but then went through and I think the meeting was over two hours, and explained all their services and the reasons for them, and he even told me about some he thought we wouldn’t need at that venue which saved me some money.  I appreciated that a lot.  We went with them for planning, photography, dj, and photobooth…the final price was so within our budget and our party was awesome!  Our pictures made me cry, Diallo really paid attention to detail and listened to our needs. He gave us a sneek peek within 2 days and sent us our gallery much faster than expected. The things that really stood out to us were the little ones, for example Diallo brought us a drink when we were sitting at the head table. This made us feel special and appreciated. Angelo (our dj) was very high energy and made sure our dance floor was constant. He was all smiles and played all of our songs, even our guest requests, people kept telling me how they couldn't believe he was actually playing the music that they wanted since other weddings that they had been to this was not the case haha. They were the best to work with, easy, informative, and we got more than we paid for.  HIRE THIS TEAM!  You won’t regret it.

ad an assistant who literally drove ten miles to get chicken nuggets for our niece who has food allergies, we had forgotten to mention to the caterer with everything going on. She took care of everything so we could focus on enjoying our special day together. Helping us find vendors who she had worked with personally and trusted was also the icing on the cake. We didn't have to go through the interview process and basically guess on picking our vendors. Thank you Heather!!! Top-notch service!

looks so clear and beautiful, and they really know how to capture the best moments. The team was super friendly and made everything so easy. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing, and it showed in the final product. The editing was fantastic, especially the music choice! and the whole thing just came together so well. I was honstly amazed at how professional and polished everything looked. I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you want your videos to look top-notch, Rockstar is definitely the way to go! Get Chris or Kurt!!!

tastic photography and video team! Vida was our day of coordinator and she was so sweet! She kept the day flowing and was on point when we needed her assistance! Very organized. 5/5 stars!
