About this vendor
Serving couples worldwide, Robinson Press - A Design & Letterpress Studio is an invitations and paper goods company based in Quincy, MA. As the owner, Rachel Robinson understands that save-the-date cards and invitations are the first points of contact you’ll have with your guests for your wedding. She believes that your paper goods should be reflective of your personality and style. With her designs, she aspires to welcome your loved ones tastefully and with the highest quality.
Rachel fell in love with stationery at six years old. Growing up, she created her very own office out of her family’s laundry room complete with an ironing board as a desk. From there, she was able to create custom cards for many special occasions. Now, after attending art school, working in the wedding industry in New York City, and having her own wedding, she is honored to create custom designs tailored to your vision.
Rachel uses an antique Chandler & Price platen press for every custom design. But there’s nothing pretentious about her services. This artist values transparency and open communication. She prides herself on being accessible and offering advice about stationery etiquette, wording, timing, and product sourcing. With her collaborative nature, she works hard to ensure that her creative process is informed by your unique tastes and needs. Whether you desire rustic or eclectic invitation suites or paper goods inspired by the artwork from your favorite book, Rachel is delighted to carefully hand-craft each item.
Robinson Press - A Design & Letterpress Studio is focused on providing a bespoke experience. Using your inspiration and guidance, this visionary designer will work hard to perfect her creations. With several rounds of design proofs, she will ask for your approval every step of the way. Along with invitation suites, this company can produce seating charts, place cards, table numbers, menus, and programs. For your convenience, they can manage the printing, addressing, and shipping of your items, or they can arrange a pickup if you are in their area.

first taste that your guests experience of your wedding and it was extremely important to me that the vibes/aesthetic were right. From start to finish, Rachel and I were totally in sync. We collaborated so well and she brought our brainstorming sessions to life better than I could have imagined. She has amazing taste that fit perfectly with mine and was incredibly patient with all the back and forth edits/notes. I trusted Rachel every step of the way and knew she would deliver something beautiful, and she did just that (and more!). The day of stationary was truly the cherry on top with all of the decor. It added such a beautiful touch that tied everything together perfectly. I am so grateful for her creativity and the care she put into every piece. Can’t wait to work with her again on something in the future!

eative range and vision, and worked with us to adapt our personal style and wedding vision to an invitation suite. Rachel was patient through the process, through our many detailed questions and revisions and always came with ideas better than what we could have every imagined. Rachel recommended several calligraphers, and the one that she suggested for our suite was really outstanding both in terms of service and talent. Rachel made it really easy to work with the calligrapher as well, sending him envelopes directly and early to ease the process for us. We received our invitations last week, and were blown away by the quality and craftsmanship that went into each piece. From the letterpress to the details within each piece, the edge painting, the color, and overall look - our invitations are truly pieces we will treasure forever. The first word everyone has said was "elegant", which is exactly the tone we want to set leading up to our September Cape Cod Wedding. Thank you Rachel for inspiring us creatively, and for making our invitation dreams come true!

seeing her portfolio online that she was a magician and that if she would could do our wedding stationery, it would be magical. I was right- I was delighted each time we various rounds of the selection came through and how spot-on she was. The quality was phenomenal. It was not only us that thought so- the compliments have been endless! Being based in the UK hasn't been as issue either, if anything it has been a benefit to get a US idea on weddings. The artistic skills, patience and creativity are boundless. I would not hesitate but to recommend Robinson Press for any occasion, especially a wedding. From the save the dates, to the wedding invitations, to the on the day stationery and the thank you cards- everything was perfect, beautiful and beyond what we expected. Thank you xxxx

ed her to two friends who both hired Rachel and loved her as well (I think it is also worth mentioning that all 3 of our designs were very different - Rachel is able to tailor the invitations to each individual person/couple). Creating the invitations was by far one of my favorite parts of planning the wedding!

e first glimpse of your wedding that people see. We had NO idea what we wanted but sat down with Rachel and talked a little bit about us, our wedding venue and some of our favorite things and she just went with it. What came out of it were little pieces of art that I am OBSESSED with. Rose gold pressed perfection. Rachel was a JOY to work with and my husband and I always commented after chatting/meeting with her that she felt like a friend. We also used Rachel for all of our wedding day extras (programs, escort cards, welcome bag notes, table numbers, signage, etc.) and it all came out so awesome and personalized. I am not very creative so it was great how I could tell her in a confusing way what I thought I wanted and how she just brought it to life. Her prices are reasonable and SO worth it! If invitations are important to you, you MUST work with Rachel!
Rachel was absolutely incredible. So talented, creative and accomodating. I loved my invitations.

My guests received my invitations last week and the positive feedback was overwhelming. From the design, to the details (ribbon, colors, etc), to the paper itself, Rachel nailed it! Working with her was by far my favorite part of the wedding planning process. I would recommend her to every bride, so long as they desire invitations that are unique, fun, beautiful, and elegant all wrapped up into one!!!

d I met with Rachel to discuss the invitations for our August 2015 wedding, it felt like we were talking with an old friend over coffee. We went to her with a million different ideas and she helped us sort through different concepts and decide on a design that was right for us. She makes herself available to you and you feel like her only customer. On several occasions, we spoke over the phone at length about different options for the invitations, which was incredibly helpful for me in figuring out what we could do. She’s a genius in getting your vision just right, but is also honest if something about the design isn’t working. She also respects your budget and helps to think creatively how you can accomplish what you want within your own financial parameters. To top it all off, she’s extremely professional and always sticks to her deadlines. All of this concluded with me staying under our budget and having invitations that looked AMAZING. I am so happy with how they turned out. After our invitations were done, I went back to her last minute to design some signage for our wedding; she happily accommodated and was able to turn around something quickly for a very reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and look no further. Work with Rachel!
Working with Robinson Press for my September 2015 wedding was a dream from beginning to end. I am a very hands on (read: controlling) bride, so when I first contacted Rachel a year...
in advance of my wedding asking about paper goods, I didn't expect such a quick response. Not only did she mail me samples of her work, but over the next 12 months, she spent hours on the phone with me going through each iteration of design. I came to Rachel with a specific (yet extremely vague) idea of what I wanted my paper goods to look like, and what techniques I was most interested in. She was able to use my ramblings, and my budget, to create a beautiful, customized wedding suite that went above and beyond my expectations. I loved being so involved in the aesthetic process while being able to take a step back and give Rachel control of the project.
Rachel is calm, reassuring, and above all, warm hearted, which both my mother and I truly appreciated during the whirlwind chaos of wedding planning. The week of my wedding, there was a delivery mixup of the day-of materials. Worry not! Rachel quickly remedied the problem, putting in extra hours on her end to make sure everything was perfect and ready on time. I cannot rave enough about what a pleasure it was working with Rachel and her team!
Working with Rachel and Robinson Press was the most fun part of my wedding planning...Rachel is every bit professional, organized, creative and was just a blast to work with. She ...
understood my style and ideas, and took our invitation suite to a whole new level. She presented a diverse range of designs with a different approach and inspiration behind each option. Rachel really spent time researching our destination wedding city and communicated different characteristics of the city into our invitations which was pretty awesome. I threw a lot of random ideas and other artwork at her throughout our design process and I couldn't imagine anyone else executing our final design as well as she did. I had the best experience with Robinson Press and have already gone back for place cards, thank you notes, maps, etc.
They are the best!

right look and feel for my destination wedding in Barbados. I really had no idea what I wanted, and Rachel was able to take my thoughts and turn them into a truly unique invitation suite. She presented many options and color schemes and even did research on local flowers to add a special touch to the invites. She was very communicative and really over delivered throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Robinson Press!!
Robinson Press designed our wedding invitations and they were absolutely stunning! The process was a lot of fun and very creative. Thank you!

l just once and she immediately picked up on the direction we wanted to take and the feel of our wedding. On top of wedding planning we were also in the process of a major move so things were stressful but Rachel was patient and helpful with our budget in mind throughout the process. I am in love with the monogram logo she created and I am so happy with the invitations as a whole. I can't stop looking at them! We will also be using Robinson Press for our name cards etc. You will not regret choosing Robinson Press!

ns, rehearsal dinner invites, thank you cards, and all sorts of goodies for our "welcome" boxes. Rachel is incredibly creative and really helped to make our vision for our wedding come to life! Just about everyone commented on our invitations.- "unique," "whimsical," "thoughtful"...people thought they were just spectacular, but most importantly we absolutely LOVED all of Rachel's creations. She captured the whole vibe of our event and really set the tone for our big day. Rachel is so easy and fun to work with and she was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding planning! Rachel is the BEST...don't miss out!!

etterpress my save the dates, wedding invitations, thank you cards, wedding programs, place cards, and menu cards. I basically kept trying to think of more things to make on paper, because the process of working with Rachel was so darned fun, and the results were really beautiful and one of a kind. This girl is talented. She was amazing at understanding my vision for the entire event, and then making the most perfect designs. It was hard to choose our favorites from what she presented to us. My fiancee, who said he didn't care about how the invitations looked, was suddenly e-mailing color swatches and font references from work - it was a really fun a and creative project that actually brought the two of us together even more. DON'T MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ROBINSON PRESS!!!

Everything was absolutely stunning, she listened to us and produced our vision flawlessly. Everything was within budget and done in a timely fashion!
Sometimes its hard to find someone who can really understand your vision and at the same time does it with such quality.
I would HIGHLY recommend using Robinson Press/Rachel.
I am not your common bride. The details terrify and alarm me. Rachel took my indecisiveness and turned it into a gorgeous invitation that reflected my relationship and personality....
Not knowing what I wanted, she guided me in a direction that felt smart, stylish, and personal with the right questions and the perfect amount of input. Beyond that, her sense of color and design is impeccable-had you described the color and layout I would have doubted-instead, I got more compliments than I ever expected: the coolest, most me, most beautiful, most fun....When they arrived, they were tied with a bow, nestled in gorgeous paper. I felt like I was opening a present, and they were better in person than I could have hoped. I didn't want to deal with the details of an invite, and Rachel made it fun, personal, memorable, and above all, beautiful. Trust this woman. She knows what she's doing. Thank you, Rachel.

She is a passionate business owner and has a bright future ahead of her.

ion into something inspiring. So, we arrived at our first meeting with Rachel frustrated and in a bit of a time crunch. She immediately set us at ease and shared her portfolio of beautiful designs. She set and kept us to a timeline, but helped us create beautiful and whimsical invitations for our Botanical Gardens wedding.
We were so pleased with Rachel's invitation designs that we asked her to help us transfer some of her designs to a seating chart, ceremony program, napkins, and cups for a brunch. The best compliment I received on the invitations was "they're so you!"
Beyond her artistic talent, Rachel is simply a pleasure to work with - a consummate professional and lovely person.

en hand drew part of it. We weren't able to meet in person as I live on the other side of the country, but she is very easy to get in touch with via phone and email, and sent me examples of her work and paper sample options in the mail so I was very comfortable with the quality they would be. The design she came up with and the final product were gorgeous. The invites just went in the mail last week and I can't tell you how many texts/phone calls and email's I've gotten from people exclaiming how "unique", "gorgeous" and "creative" my invites are. I never thought my invites would be one of the highlights of the planning process, but Rachel made it so much fun and really helped me to set the tone and vision of my entire wedding. She is also very reasonable for the quality of work she does.
I'm sort of obsessed with paper, and it was important to me that my wedding invitations were absolutely gorgeous. The problem with that was that I did not want boring or tradition...
al or even the typical "fancy" work--I wanted letterpress, craft, color, and whimsy! In that regard, Rachel was absolutely wonderful to work with. From our first meeting to go over my vision, she was personable and easygoing. She totally understand what I was aiming for and seemed just as excited as I was about my ideas. She designed so many wonderful designs for our save the date that it was hard to choose, but we ultimately went with a hand drawn gingham pattern and hand lettering. It was absolutely gorgeous! When it came to invitation design, she made a gorgeous mountain design invitation that complimented our save the date perfectly without being too matchy. She even found us neon orange ink to work with. Basically, Rachel rocks. She is great at what she does, incredibly responsive to feedback, and also very intuitive--there were many times where she was able to put into design something that I had been unable to articulate clearly in a conversation, but was hoping for nonetheless. Her work is flawless...and better yet, she is funny, warm, and charming. If you like beautiful paper as much as I do, you should probably call Robinson Press right now.
Rachel is such a pleasure to work with. My fiance and I are not creative at all. We had a few random ideas of what we wanted for the invites. We had no clue where to go from there....
The first time we met with Rachel she took our ideas and turned them into a dream. She understood exactly what we wanted and was able to create an invitation beyond my imagination. I also loved how timely she was with getting us drafts and the finished product. Working with her was a breeze. I will definitely use her services again for place cards and thank you cards.
