Such a homey hotel. After a week long roadtrip, we happened to find this place and it was the best hotel we stayed at BY FAR the entirety of the trip. Totally recommend over anything else in the area.

she was outstanding at every step of the process. She immediately took us to her office, talked through what we were interested in, and then gave us an impromptu tour of the property. Before we left that day, we knew exactly the package we wanted, and she made it all come true when it came time for our wedding. She was proactive, helpful, and always responsive to any of my incessant questions. Aside from that, the entire staff was remarkably helpful and accommodating to my very large family. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the building itself does feel a little out-dated. It could maybe use some renovations to modernize things. But I can't emphasize enough how much the location on the water, the staff, and the family atmosphere made our weekend stay a truly special one.

t on the food because we went down there at 7 and it wasn't ready and we had to check out early. Thankfully no bugs as I read about in other reviews. Also, the location, next to a strip mall that is pretty much closed up, didn't feel safe walking around
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was filthy, smelled musty, and had a strong mold-like odor. The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, making the entire property feel dirty and unkempt.

the sheets, there were bobby pins left on the bed, which immediately made me question whether the room had been properly cleaned. The top showerhead didn’t work, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable, especially considering the price.
Outside the hotel, there were intoxicated people hanging around, and what appeared to be drug activity. Police cars were circling the property throughout the night, which made the environment feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
I would absolutely not recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling with children. Even for just one night, it’s not worth it. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, and I’ve never experienced a place that was this dirty, poorly maintained, and unpleasant. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
