River & Roots Ranch is a 246-acre private ranch on the St. Marys River in Bryceville, Florida, about 40 minutes from Jacksonville and under an hour from Amelia Island. On your wedding day, the entire property is yours, with no other event sharing the grounds, the lodge, or the parking area. Want it for longer? Our Full Weekend Experience gives you the ranch exclusively from Friday afternoon through Sunday.
Picture the morning of: coffee on the porch, your mom in a rocking chair, your bridesmaids laughing down the hall in the bridal suite. That evening, you say your vows beneath a grand live oak as the light turns gold, surrounded by everyone you love.
Facilities and Capacity
At the heart of the ranch is a custom cypress and heart pine lodge with soaring cathedral ceilings, two stone fireplaces, a bridal suite, a groom's room, and nearly 4,000 square feet of covered wraparound porches overlooking pastures and old-growth forest. You can choose your ceremony spot: beneath the live oak, in the spring flower fields, on the lawn beside the lodge, or on the riverbank along 1.2 miles of private river frontage. If Florida weather has other plans, the porches are big enough to hold your full ceremony and reception under cover.
Every package includes up to 13 hours of exclusive access starting at 9 AM, tables, chairs, and linens for up to 150 guests (200 with an add-on), and a private gated parking area. For couples who want to make it a true getaway, the Full Weekend Experience reserves the whole ranch for you alone, with two nights in the lodge for your wedding party. Arrive Friday for the rehearsal dinner, celebrate Saturday, and linger over a farewell brunch on Sunday.

Our open vendor policy means you can bring the caterer you love, the florist you've been saving on Pinterest, and the band you grew up dancing to. Not sure where to start? We're happy to share our preferred list of trusted Jacksonville-area caterers, planners, tent companies, and more.
Wedding day rentals start at $5,000, and rehearsal-plus-wedding and full-weekend packages are also available. Private tours are offered any day of the week. Come walk the land. You'll know in the first five minutes.

We got married this past May, and somewhere between the vows and the dancing, we made a decision that changed everything. We were going to stop dreaming about a different kind of life and actually build it. River & Roots Ranch is that life. Savannah leads the day-to-day heart of the ranch as Chief of Operations. She oversees the wedding venue, manages our growing team of preferred vendors, and is the person who will walk you through the property, answer every question, and make sure your wedding day feels as effortless as it looks. She also runs our working sustainable farm, tending the land, growing food with intention, and building the kind of regenerative operation we are proud to call home. If you have ever wanted your wedding flowers grown on the same land where you say your vows, you are in the right place. Abraham runs the hunting and men's retreat side of the ranch guided experiences built around the land, the river, and the kind of stillness that is genuinely hard to find anymore. He knows this property the way most people know their own backyard, and he brings that same depth and care to every experience he leads.
