Owner, Christina Rittenhouse, grew up in a flower shop watching her mom create stunning weddings for years {since the age of 3}. She was blessed to begin studying and planning events in college. With her education in event planning and her background in floral & design, Christina launched Rittenhouse Designs & Events in 2010 with one thing in mind: orchestrate and design an elegant and stress-free wedding for each Rittenhouse Bride, that goes above and beyond your expectations.
"When I hear my brides say that their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and more than they could have ever imagined, then my heart feels complete. I especially love it when they not only love the designs and flowers, but they feel like I was able to help them stay calm and stress-free so that they could really enjoy the day. Those moments when I step back and see a truly happy bride and groom that just had the best day of their lives.....those are the best. That is where my passion is and what I strive for in every single event." - Christina Rittenhouse

nts she did for our wedding I was shocked. They were all incredibly beautiful. I could not believe it turned out so perfect like that. She really understood what I wanted. My bouquet I have no words to describe. When she showed me my bouquet I was about to cry because how gorgeous it was. She was amazing during the whole process and she always tried to understand what was our vision for the event. She was always caring, supportive and passionate. The flowers were so important to me for our Wedding and she completely exceeded my expectations. She is the best! I could continue saying more and more because I'm so thankful and I admire her work so much! Christina made OUR DAY! I can’t thank her enough!
We cannot say enough good things about Christina and her team! They truly made our wedding day and the weeks leading up to it so stress-free. We hired Rittenhouse Designs to not on...
ly do our decor and florals, but we also added on their wedding management package.
Our wedding was stunning because of the incredible work they did with our decor and florals. Christina was so kind and accommodating as we talked her through our vision and worked with us to help meet our goals in what we wanted to see vs. what fit into our budget. We got so many compliments from our guests on the florals and decor. It was such a special evening and Christina and her team definitely brought our vision to life!
For the wedding management package, it was a lifesaver for us. Christina started working with us about 6 weeks before our wedding and basically took over from there. We stayed involved and worked with her on any deadlines approaching. She was there for the whole day, managing comms with our vendors and helping us make sure we got to the right places at the right time. As someone who is super type A, it was incredible to also work with someone who was so organized, communicative, and on top of things. It made our day run so smoothly and we did not have any stressful moments thanks to Christina and her team!
If you are looking for a wedding planner and/or a decor/floral company, we cannot recommend Rittenhouse Designs enough!!
Christina provided the flowers for my daughter's wedding in June 2023. From the moment we saw her beautiful proposal, we were excited. And the end result was even more beautiful. C...
hristina understood my daughter's vision and brought it to life. I almost cried when I walked into the reception venue and saw how gorgeous the tables looked with the flowers on them. Christina also decorated our large welcome and table setting signs, making them look elegant instead of just functional.
She was professional, responsive to our questions and requests, and so easy to work with. Our experience was flawless and enjoyable. We highly recommend her!
I worked with Christina for my July 2023 wedding, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. Christina and I had a preliminary call, and she was so flexible and open to wo...
rking with my budget and vision. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process. When I arrived at the venue on my wedding day, I was excited to see Christina’s team member setting up with a big smile on her face. Their attention to detail with our floral piece for our ceremony and our bouquets was remarkable, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making my wedding day special. The flowers looked incredible and smelled fantastic! They held up the whole day. I also loved how the centerpieces were simple yet elegant and photographed well. I highly recommend Rittenhouse for your Wedding or big event!

erpieces and bouquets were STUNNING, and all of the little details were executed flawlessly! She was such a joy to work with, and very flexible. We added a lighting installation just a few weeks before the wedding, and she made it happen! We cannot recommend Rittenhouse highly enough!!
Christina is one of the very few florists I spoke to that didn't get frustrated with me when I had no idea what any flowers were called. I gave her such a vague description and she...
somehow produced my exact vision for my wedding. Christina was so kind and pleasant to work with, and I'm currently in the process of preserving my bouquet because it was just too beautiful to throw away.
Christina Rittenhouse is amazing!! She listened to my (truthfully very picky.. yet non-knowledgeable) requests, and created absolutely stunning bouquets, centerpieces, arches, and ...
more! I wasn't quite sure what to expect after just talking about our flowers on the phone.. and what we got was beyond any of my wildest dreams - I am in LOVE with the flowers, and so thankful for Christina! THANKS, Rittenhouse Designs!!
I wish I could give Christina more stars. She was a phenomenal person to work with on our wedding. After chatting through ideas on the phone, Christina created a beautiful plan for...
flowers, decor and design. I had an idea of a hexagon arch, and although she didn't have one then, she said she would build one just for us. I gave her one photo for inspiration and she not only delivered, she outdid herself. Everyone gave us compliments on how pretty everything turned out, and it's 100% because of Christina's vision and execution. She went above and beyond, as well, helping me stay on track with timelines and even recommended the caterer that we ended up going with. She is so knowledgeable in this space, and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Christina!!
I would give 10 stars if I could!! Christina has been absolutely amazing since the day we met. She is a sweetheart and totally capable in every way. Not only did I book her to be o...
ur florist for our December wedding, but she also stepped up when our previously booked wedding planner backed out on us. Christina stepped in as our wedding planner and hit the ground running. I felt so comfortable with her and was able to reach out to her with any questions or concerns. If she did not know the answer, she found it. She took the stress out of things and handled our crazy family on wedding day with ease and calm. She was always in our corner when it came to dealing with any other vendors. Our flowers and centerpieces looked amazing and we are SO very thankful to have had her in our corner during this crazy 2020 wedding season. Do yourself a favor and BOOK HER NOW!!
Christina is wonderful. Such a pleasure to work with and her execution is impeccable.
Christina was my month or coordinator and my florist and she was just amazing. I feel like she was the only one who knew as much about my wedding as I did. She never forgot a sin...
gle detail and she helped my day go off without a hitch. Everyone always said “oh there will be something that goes wrong”. Literally NOTHING went wrong and I really believe Christina was to thank about that. She was so calm and competent thought the whole process but also enthusiastic. The florals and décor were just beautiful and she really understood my vision and made it come to life. My bridesmaids couldn’t get over how beautiful our bouquets were. She was also able to work with my budget. I wanted a big suspended installation that looked kind of like a coral reef running down my head estate table (my wedding was underwater themed). Other florists I visited quoted me $3000 just for the one table and they didn’t even listen to my vision. Christina was able to do it for a fraction of the price and OMG all of the guests were talking about how unique and stunning it was! During the reception she made sure everything stuck to the timeline and even stuck around to supervise the cleanup. Not only that, but she delivered the cards, guestbook, items left in the bridal suite, and leftover cake to my parent’s house after the reception. I am SO glad I hired her and I completely trusted her with my wedding day. THANK YOU CHRISTINA!! Seriously, hire her she’s amazing.

ee and I knew I didn't need to do any more research! She is super friendly and knowledgable, and although I don't know the proper names for any flowers she knew exactly what I wanted just by me describing different things/showing inspiration boards. We met a second time to go over what she had put together, and everything was perfect. She was very responsive via email to any changes that I wanted to make throughout the time we met to my wedding. Our ceremony was at a church, and then our reception was at a separate venue about 20 minutes away. She was so flexible in decorating both the church and reception venue and went back and forth with ease. She worried about all of the details, and made our pictures look so perfect with all of the flowers!
I can't say enough positive things about Rittenhouse Designs & Events! I have known Christina for several years, so I already knew the quality of her work and her character. She is...
such a sweet person with many years of experience. I really appreciated that Christina took the time to meet with me and really listen to what I was looking for with my wedding flowers. She wanted nothing more than to make my flowers perfect for us and our vision. I was blown away when I saw everything she created for the bridal party, ceremony and reception. Everything was so beautiful and even better than what I had imagined. Christina is so talented at what she does, and I highly recommend her!

The peace of mind that Christina gave us for those weeks before the wedding and the wedding day was wonderful. She is professional, very easy to work with and knows how to handle different personalities very well. The ceremony as well as the reception ran smoothly and we could not be happier with her work!

nderstood what we wanted. From our initial meeting, I knew her work would be great. We met with another florist and asked them both for proposals. Christina was kind enough to adjust her proposal to better meet our budget while still giving us what we wanted. She checked in with me periodically to see how the rest of the plans were coming along, which was so sweet of her. The bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces all turned out great and really provided the romantic feel we were going for!

g doing flowers ourselves. We set up a meeting with her, and we quickly changed our minds! It was clear that Christina understood my vision and was confident she could deliver, which is exactly what she did.
Throughout the planning process, I freaked out a couple times, changed numbers on her, asked her for design elements other than flowers (lace overlays, for example), and counted on her to make decisions I would like when I was SO OVER decision-making! She came through every time.
On the day of, she produced bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres that stunned! She also made hydrangea aisle runners and an amazing custom flower arrangement for a large wooden cross. Then she ran over the reception hall and make the tables look like a dream! I barely spoke to her on the wedding day, but it looked beautiful, so I assume it went well. :)
Overall, I would highly recommend Rittenhouse and Christina! She was a wonderful person to have in my corner on my wedding day. She was patient, collaborative, understanding, and most importantly capable.
