10/10- literally can’t recommend these folks enough. This is a family business and the mother and daughter who helped me were incredible. They recommended a variety of perfect dres...
ses for a fair price and without any hard selling at all. They were super patient when my mom was being a little bit extra and taking up way too much time. The dress ordering timeline was so much more flexible than other places I visited. The in house alterations were also REALLY great, quick turn around, high quality for a fair price- much cheaper than my friends had for their wedding dresses. The gals here were also so sweet and complimentary on the fit of my dress and helping pick out accessories- it seriously made me feel like a princess. I couldn’t have had a better experience.
Ricca Sposa saved my wedding and bridal experience. I originally ordered my Pronovias dress from a local St. Louis bridal shop on 2/10/24. I was originally told that it would arriv...
e in June. Then it turned into July, then October, and still nothing as of November 2nd. Went to the store and told me that it wasn’t supposed to ship until November 13th with an unknown arrival date. After 9 months of waiting and empty promises, and only 6 months to go until my wedding day, I cancelled the order. After some research, I found Ricca Sposa to be the next closet Pronovias retailer - 4 hours away. Karina was amazing with everything being handled over the phone. She reassured me through the whole process and was extremely responsive with any questions I had. Without asking, they lowered the price to almost match the previous purchase cost from the other store. I ordered my dress in the afternoon of 11/2 and it already arrived to their store in the afternoon of 11/11. Karina was kind enough to call me the minute the dress arrived and sent a quick video before sending it off. It arrived at my house less than 24 hours later. As excited as I was, I forgot to message her and inform her of the arrival. She emailed me at 7 am this morning (the next day) to make sure I received it. I truly can’t express how grateful I am for Karina making my dream dress become a reality during a stressful time.
Visited Ricca Sposa salon in Kansas City and was thrilled! Affordable prices, stunning European designs, and impeccable service. Said 'yes' to a gorgeous long sleeve dress with ado...
rable lace details and a long tail. Highly recommend!
Ricca Sposa! Was an amazing experience. Two of my friends were Ricca Sposa brides, in 2018 and in 2021. I was blowned away by their dresses. They were beyond beautiful. When it was...
my turn 11/12/23. My friend took me there. Lucia was so welcoming, very knowledgeable from the minute we came in. The bouquet is very beautiful atmosphere. She explained the process to me. There was promotional offers going on for the holiday when we came and she made sure I benefited from it. I have very expensive taste lol off course the dress I loved was on the expensive side, which was cheaper than the places I visited prior. Lucia worked up a payment plan for me. I made monthly payments, and my dress came in 3 months before my wedding. I screamed when I saw it. It was so beautiful. I can’t say enough about my experience. Lucia is amazing. I'm so glad I went to her boutique.
Lucia was great. She is a good listener and we found exactly the dress 👗 that we were looking for in her shop. She did a wonderful job with alteration and had attention to small d...
etails. The price was really fear compare to other stores. I recommend this store for all the wedding needs and we are happy we found it

wont find at your average bridal shop. I never felt rushed or pushed into making a decision. I found the most beautiful dress and I am super excited to wear it on my wedding day. I would highly suggest booking an appointment with Ricca Sposa! It was just such a great experience overall.

g them try on all kinds of dresses until they find the one. They all are so pleasant and encouraging, especially for me who was a little more shy about trying on dresses. Would highly recommend

th. I wasn't very excited to try on dresses and thought I wouldn't find anything that fit my style. I ended up having a blast and found a dress I fell in love with.

WOW! RICCA SPOSA has left me speechless! Lucia and Karina were incredibly welcoming from the moment that I stepped foot into their boutique. I had such a wonderful experience here!...
The boutique is so beautiful. I'm so excited that I was able to find the most amazing dress for my special day! ❤️
Ricca Sposa was my first salon experience, and it did not disappoint! I've been a fan of the Ricca Sposa dresses for a while, so I was excited for my chance to try on dresses here!...
Lucia was incredible from the start. She began communicating with me about my style preferences and the dresses I had pre selected to try on a couple days in advance. I had a second appointment lined up elsewhere on the same day, but l left this place knowing I had already found my dress.
It was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend them enough!! Can't wait to see my custom dress in 6 months.
This store had a beautiful selection and definitely had unique dresses to try on. I had an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime, experience choosing my wedding dress at Ricca Sposa. I had t...
ried on dresses at other stores, but didn't have the bridal moment. I was starting to worry I wouldn't find my dress, until I went to this place. My consultant Karina was kind, knowledgeable, upbeat, and extremely helpful. She put me at ease and made the experience really fun. I can't recommend this store enough!
After visiting four other Bridal Boutiques in Kansas City, I knew the moment we walked into Ricca Sposa that place was special. I ended up trying on 30 dresses that weekend & Ricc...
a Sposa had THE dress (I think it was #26 I ended up choosing).
The mother/daughter duo was the perfect touch to the most perfect boutique. The undivided attention & one-on-one service was unparalleled at the other locations we visited. They listened to what I "wanted" in my wedding dress, but they also noticed my body type & what might look good on me, so they suggested a few dresses I never would have chosen myself. I was dead set on sleeves & I ended up with a spaghetti strap dress!
I received so many compliments on my dress at the wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every way & I can't thank Ricca Sposa enough for being a part of our special day. I will recommend this bridal boutique to everyone!
Thank you thank you thank you!!
The best wedding dresses in Kansas City! Highly recommend to visit this boutique! Affordable prices, gorgeous gowns, very professional consultants!
I bought my dress here, and I am...
very happy with my choice! I have never seen anywhere in KC the most beautiful selection of wedding gowns.
I had the most amazing experience finding my dream wedding dress at Ricca Sposa. The initial visit of trying on and choosing a dress was very special and private. Lucia was incredi...
bly sweet and did a fantastic job listening to what I wanted in a dress. We had the back room to ourselves and a big couch for all my entourage to sit while I tried on dresses. Lucia was patient and I never felt pressured. I loved supporting a local family owned and operated business and the level of personalized service you get is incomparable to largely run bridal shops. The prices of her dresses were fair, as well as the elective alternations I had done to add sleeves and the quality was top notch. Ricca Sposa for the win!
ghly Recommend!
My gown search was very specific and I knew it would be hard to find the style I was looking for. During my online research, Ricca Sposa immediately caught my eye...
. I called to few times to get dress pricing and appointment times. Each call had a cheerful employee who was more than happy to answer any questions I had.
I booked an appointment and arrived to their Kansas City location. It was clean and bright with beautiful dresses in the front room for easy dress selections. Karina and her partner greeted me immediately and made me feel welcome. I was the only bride at the shop, which made the appointment feel even more special, like I was the spotlight. Karina was deligent in making sure she knew my style and walked me through finding suitable dresses to try on. She encouraged me to try new styles without making me feel pressured and I actually love her recommendations! We found many dresses that had elements I loved but Karina was able to mesh them all together and create my DREAM dress. They were very accommodating and more than happy to do whatever necessary to make the dress what I envisioned. I felt like the bride I always wanted to be and stayed within my budget. Karina was always kind and never rushed the process. Couldn't be happier to have said Yes to the Dress at Ricca Sposa
Wonderful experience at Ricca Sposa! My daughter found her dream wedding dress here, and she truly looked like a fairy-tale princess. So many people commented that her dress was ...
the most beautiful dress they had ever seen!!!
Lucia is amazing! As a bride, I didn't really know what I was looking for. I told her the time of year and location of our wedding and she found THE most perfect dress. I received ...
so many compliments from random people we walked by saying it was the most beautiful dress they have seen in a while or ever. Working with her couldn't have been easier. She responds quickly and making appointments was always easy. I had alterations made to my dress and the turn around time was 3 weeks earlier than I had anticipated. Most of my visits I made alone (which is never ideal) and she was honestly so supportive and professional, I do not have enough kind words to say about her as a person. The quality of the dresses are are amazing and not the styles you will find in any typical dress shop. Before my wedding began my 8-year-old niece asked if she could have my dress. <3
I had the best experience dress shopping at Ricca Sposa! My girls & I were able to have an intimate experience since we were the only ones in the store. Lucia is very attentive and...
works so hard to make everything perfect! My dress was exactly what I was looking for, and was gorgeous! I am so happy I found the wedding dress of my dreams at Ricca Sposa!
An extremely pleasant experience.
My daughter had signed up for a dress shopping experience at a bridal show.
With this boutique being located on the Plaza, we were sure we would...
walk in to the shop and know immediately that we were way out of our league.
This couldn't have farther from the truth.
Lucia made my daughter feel like she was the only bride in world during her appointment and she had the whole boutique to herself. Lucia does this to make each bride feel special and so she can dedicate her full attention to the bride. She was amazing.
The dresses are unique and they are made especially for the bride and/or bridesmaid keeping alterations at a minimum. Lucia is so accommodating and so relaxed that the whole experience was pleasant, stress free and actually enjoyable.
The prices of the gowns are reasonable and alterations were included in the pricing.
Cannot say enough about Lucia and her professionalism and her sweet demeanor. HIGHLY recommend her boutique.
They were so efficient and professional when I ran into my wedding gown emergency and had to buy a new one last minute! They got my gown here within a month, they sized it perfectl...
y, and eliminated the need of getting in hemmed. And they dress itself was drop dead gorgeous. I am so impressed and thankful for Ricca Sposa!
I was looking for a unique bridal gown, that was different but classic and I found it at Ricca Sposa. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My dress arrived in about 2 1/2...
months. The staff worked hard on my alternations given that I had lost a dress size of weight. Even though it was intricate, the process only took 2 weeks. My associate really knew how a dress should fit and was just as perticular as I. The dress fit like a glove and I looked incredible on my wedding day!!
Lucia, the owner was fantastic! The boutique is lovely inside - spacious, has a couch and she served champagne, once I bought the dress! There is a private (with curtains) large dr...
essing room that Lucia helps the bride try on dresses behind. It was very convenient and I didn't feel like I was showing the world my lady-bits. Lucia is extremely nice, accommodating and had plenty of options for me to try on. I was getting married on the beach, but the dress I fell in love with had a heavy-weighted fabric as the bottom layer. Lucia told me she could change out the bottom fabric of the dress, to a lighter weight fabric. The dress came in a few months later (if my recall is correct). It was the perfect fit!! There was even a built-in corset, that I wasn't expecting, but I LOVED it!
The experience I had at Ricca Sposa was absolutely amazing, Lucia and her assistant definitely made it a memorable one, not only for me as the bride but also for the family members...
I brought with me. Both ladies were very pleasant to work with and super friendly. I explained the details of what I had in mind for a dress, they started pulling some that seemed fitting to what I was saying and that would fit by body type, sure enough it was exactly what I was looking for (and I just so happened to choose the first dress I tried on). To top it all off, Lucia was able to provide me with gorgeous jewelry and a veil to match the dress. I would highly recommend any bride looking for a little different style to check out Ricca Sposa. The service here is exceptional.
I couldn't more highly recommend Ricca Sposa for finding your dream wedding gown! Not only is it located at the beautiful Plaza, but the lovely owner Lucia and her assistants are i...
ncredibly kind and helpful in making your dream gown a reality! All of their gowns are unique, intricate, high-quality European couture gowns. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted my dress to be and Lucia perfectly captured it by having a gown customized for me with the original designer in Europe. I ended up getting my dream gown and a matching custom veil (all made from scratch and perfectly tailored for me) for the same price as if I had picked a dress off the rack that day!! I have never had better service or felt more special. This was the only dress store I visited, so I am one lucky bride for finding Ricca Sposa and would recommend them to ANYONE. The store is gorgeous and has a very private feel, and Lucia poured us champagne to toast and celebrate after I picked my dress. Whenever I go to the Plaza, I always stop in to say hello and look at her beautiful new inventory because I love feeling the magic of the day I found my dream wedding dress! As a former Miss Missouri, I have worked with a lot of dress stores and designers and have never had a better experience than I did with Ricca Sposa. Forever grateful to Lucia for her kindness and expertise!

d. Not only is she a great stylist, she does all the alterations herself! There is a range of dresses for all styles, and its all extremely affordable!
Ricca Sposa is amazing! I am very busty with a smaller frame so I knew I would need the dress made for my specific measurements. Lucia is a doll and so helpful, she has been a seam...
stress for years and she is hands on with the trying on process. She can add or change anything to the gown that you want. Her assistant helps with the process and makes it so simple! It takes 6-8 months for your dress to arrive and also alterations are included!! Over all an ideal personalized experience.
This was absolutely the best experience I had in a bridal salon. I first visited David's Bridal to get a feel of pricing and styles. I then went to Ricca Sposa. The time we spent l...
ooking at dresses and the rapport I built while I was there made me feel great. Alterations are included in the cost, and we were able to REDESIGN my dress included in the cost of the dress! I went to two other salons after, though I had already put a payment down at Ricca Sposa, and nothing compared. There are a lot of beautiful wedding dresses, but this boutique is hands down the most luxurious and affordable. I highly recommend them for your dress and accessories!
The Ricca Sposa bridal experience is one of a kind! It was very personal and unlike the other appointments because I was the only bride-to-be in the boutique. After saying 'yes' to...
the dress you get a champagne toast!
At Ricca Spousa, the dresses are affordable and alterations are FREE!
I had the kind of experience that you dream about here at Ricca Sposa. Lucia was so kind and helpful and kind throughout the entire process. These gowns are intricate works of art....
Each detail is meticulously placed to create a beautiful dress at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend dress shopping here.
Is it possible to give a 10 star review? I originally scheduled an appointment at Ricca Sposa because it was new and seemed different from the other locations I planned to visit. A...
fter doing a significant amount of shopping in the Kansas City area, I can say that without a doubt this was the most professional and unique shopping experience I had. I found the most gorgeous gown but was initially hesitant because it was different than anything I'd envisioned or seen before. After a second appointment, however, I knew I'd found my dress! Her prices are competitive with other salons in the area and alterations are included! (Who does that??) I highly recommend Ricca Sposa!
