After a long drive we were looking for a nice hotel with restaurant so we didn't have to make 2 stops, on line it said the restaurant was open until 10. I didn't make a reservation as I was hoping to get a better rate if I just showed up. That ...
didn't happen so while I was in the lobby I booked the room through Expedia to get a better rate. When we arrived (at 9:10 pm) I was told the "bar" is open until 10, but the restaurant closed at 9. Ugh. And they only offer valet parking but there is a parking structure a couple blocks down ($8 for the night) or free street parking until 8 am. If you park in the structure, it is extremely tight for an extended cab truck! Despite no restaurant and no parking the hotel was pleasant, clean and a great location.

The room was very clean and comfy. The staff is very courteous and professional. The gym and the hotel rooftop is a must (nice pizza but long wait). The view of the City and river are beautiful and the sunset is breathtaking so you forget how l...
ong it takes to get your pizza. The breakfast was tasty (lobby restaurant).

Stayed here for a work trip. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Valet made parking a breeze. Its walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Will definitely stay again of I ever get back t...

The location is great, and I liked that they offered valet parking for 32 dollars with an app to request your car , it sounded super convenient.
But in reality, it was a really frustrating experience. I requested my car through the app around 7...
:30 AM, and after waiting 30 minutes with no sign of it, I went to check in person. That’s when I realized they weren’t even checking the app. The valet staff looked completely overwhelmed, just trying to manage a crowd of guests who were all waiting for their cars.
We ended up waiting 45 minutes, and I eventually just went and got the car myself.
Definitely not what you expect from a hotel at this level. The setup has potential, but the execution really needs work.

Very poor management (Molly) and subpar housekeeping. Stayed at the Renaissance Downtown Toledo for 3 nights; my room wasn't cleaned once, and fresh towels weren't even brought to the room. There were no do-not-disturb signs or reason they co...
uld not get into the room; it was just very poor service. The concern was brought up to the front desk each day the following day with more promises that housekeeping would follow up, which they never did. After several attempts, I did get through to the manager (Molly Ziemkiewicz), who was unhelpful as they come. Very poor leader and a bad hotel experience. I'd avoid staying here if you can.

The condition of this hotel room is completely unacceptable - especially for what guests should reasonably expect from a professional hospitality brand.
The attached photos show multiple visible cleanliness and maintenance issues throughout th...
e room and bathroom area, including:
1. Numerous dark stains and splatter marks underneath the furniture and along the carpet
2. Visible buildup of dust, debris, hair, and grime along baseboards, corners, and furniture edges
3. Hair and unidentified residue left on walls and flooring
4. Dirty shower tracks and buildup around the glass enclosure
5. Poorly maintained caulking and visible deterioration around bathroom fixtures
Marks, scuffs, and residue throughout surfaces that clearly have not been properly cleaned
6. Accumulated dirt in areas that appear to have been neglected for an extended period of time
What makes this particularly concerning is that many of these issues are in highly visible areas that should absolutely be addressed during even a basic room inspection or standard housekeeping service. The level of neglect shown in these photos raises serious concerns about the hotel’s cleaning standards, quality control, and overall attention to guest experience.
A guest should never have to discover visible dirt, hair, stains, and buildup throughout a room that is supposed to be cleaned and prepared for arrival. This does not reflect acceptable hospitality standards, and it significantly impacts comfort, cleanliness, and confidence in the property.

Issue 1......
You can pay overpriced valet, or walk 2 blocks to mid-price parking....
2.....
First night, 10 pm... go to shower after a 4 hour drive.... theres no cold water. Only boiling hot.

ngineer. No, we arent doing maintenance calls at 10 at night. What about another room... Sure... but now we have to pack EVERYTHING and move it..
Still full price for the night.
Im not one to ask for free, but a little discount could've been offered...
Room 2.... now we have "warm" and cold..... are you serious?
Most likely the worst hotel ive ever stayed in.
The good....
The view of the river was nice.
