My husband and I got married at the Renaissance on 9/19/2026, and it truly was the wedding of our dreams! We had the pleasure of working with Danielle Clarke, the Senior Catering Sales Manager, and she is absolutely INCREDIBLE. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in the best hands. She made the entire planning process seamless, and everything came together perfectly on our wedding day. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is exceptional, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We truly couldn’t have done it without Danielle and are so grateful for everything she did to make our day so special. We cannot recommend the Renaissance and Danielle enough!

Communication with our vendor teams was smooth, the room flip happened quickly and the timeline for the day went exactly according to schedule. From the day we signed the contract, to the tasting, all the way through the wedding day - Danielle was absolutely incredible and we could not have planned our wedding without her. She answered our hundreds of questions, was always so quick to respond, gave us suggestions for vendors, and truly made the entire process so seamless. No matter what we needed, she was there to help. And because of her and Maggie, on the day of the wedding we had zero stress! Every other staff member we interacted with was just as wonderful - the chef (his food is incredible and he is SO nice), the catering staff (who even went out of their way to help my mom bustle my dress), the bartenders (who kept the drinks flowing and always had a smile on their face), the valet staff (who helped unload so many boxes and brought us barstools and mirrors when requested), and the set up team who did such a wonderful job with the room and the room flip between ceremony and reception. I’m sure we’re forgetting someone who helped make our day incredible but the entire team exceeded all of our expectations. If you are considering booking The Renaissance for your wedding - DO IT! Having so many of the details handled in house (catering, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, etc) made the planning process so much easier. And even for the vendors that were not in house that we chose to bring in, Danielle & her team worked so well with them and so many of them mentioned how happy they are when they get to work with The Renaissance because they make it all so easy! Truly so glad we chose to have our wedding here, 100000/10!

ng process when we met with Danielle and toured the venue, it was an easy yes. Danielle was a dream to work with and was so accommodating no matter how big or small the ask. She was also extremely easy to communicate with and worked very well with my entire vendor team. The Renaissance staff the day of the wedding were also truly amazing. I did not have to stress for one moment during the wedding day because I knew I was in good hands. They went above and beyond and brought us ice, barstools, champagne glasses, food deliveries, etc…to our bridal suite where all of the bridesmaids were getting ready. They also had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room after the wedding. The food and drinks were phenomenal, the dinner service moved so smoothly, the venue and ballroom itself is absolutely stunning, and the vibes were so high!! If you’re thinking about booking the Renaissance for your wedding, the answer is absolutely yes! I cannot recommend Danielle and the Renaissance staff enough!

The Renaissance staff have so much attention to detail that even our tasting experience was one of my favorite experiences throughout the planning process. The chef came out to talk to us about each dish he created and they were truly mouth watering! My guests kept complimenting the hospitality they were receiving from everyone including the valet, to the front desk, to the bar staff. The Renaissance checked all of my boxes for a wedding- 15 minutes from an airport, walkable to downtown for my guests, a ballroom that doesn’t feel like a hotel board room (so much character with those tall ceilings and gold accents), and a gathering space in the bar for a fun after party! Definitely add this to your list for a weekend get away to downtown Cincinnati or for a wedding venue- you won’t be disappointed!

She is familiar with all the vendors and works well with them. The entire staff, from valet, to check-in, to service was impeccable. Our guests raved about the food and service as well and they were so impressed with the beauty of the hotel from Burnham Hall to suites and rooms. Paul, the GM, greeted us upon check-in and made sure we had anything we needed. Rejfo, food and beverage manager, was on hand to make sure we were well taken care of as well. Danielle even had leftover wedding cake wrapped and waiting for us in our suites after the wedding. I highly recommend having your wedding at The Renaissance. It is 5 star all the way!

That weekend was a busy weekend with the Pride parade and the Cincinnati Reds in town so they also helped us navigate through all of that. The food tasting and the meetings were set up in detail so there were no questions as we approached wedding day. Once we checked in to the hotel everything ran so smoothly and the entire staff was amazing beyond expectation. Everything ran with ease and they made sure we were having the best time. They also enjoyed nearby Cincinnati attractions during the wedding weekend, such as the streetcar, the Banks, Findlay Market, Fountain Square, various museums, the Zoo, etc. It was a pleasure to work with Danielle Clark and the entire hotel staff during the time prior to the wedding and on our wedding day. Danielle was always very responsive to our emails and was very helpful. The chef, banquet staff, post-wedding brunch staff, front desk staff, valets, room service personnel, etc. were all very receptive and understanding regarding our concerns, whether it involved rooms for our guests, guest count, parking, or dietary issues. Danielle was familiar with and worked efficiently with our planner, vendors, and officiant. The hotel staff was especially friendly and kind to us and all of our out-of-town guests who stayed at the hotel. Everyone raved about the hotel, the staff, the delicious food, the location, etc. We are thrilled that we selected the Renaissance for our wedding and will always cherish the memories of the day, which were made even more remarkable by the special Renaissance staff.

When these items need to be rented from outside sources, prices for your event begin to skyrocket, not to mention all the additional effort it takes to pull it together. The food and beverage service quality was excellent and the tastings were fun, clear and oh so delicious! The staff was very professional and dedicated to a smooth and first class evening experience. We could not have been more pleased! All of this was pulled together seamlessly by our dedicated Renaissance event planner Danielle who answered every call, text and enquiry with grace and prompt efficiency! We loved her! As the majority of our guests were arriving from out of town and staying at the Renaissance for the weekend, the hotel experience was also quite extraordinary. From the moment you pulled up in your car, the bellmen were falling over themselves to help you unpack your vehicle, see you to check in and get you settled in your room. The hotel also has a wonderful bar and dining area that added so much fun and a place for your guests to gather at the “in between “ moments of a full wedding weekend! There are many cogs to the wheel of a large formal wedding and without a doubt, The Renaissance handled them all expertly. I give them a strong 10/10 and will be forever grateful! Not once did I feel overwhelmed and stressed while working with her. She also had many great suggestions and ideas! She always took the extra step to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of! We are so thankful that she made sure every detail was perfect for our daughter and now son-in-law. In terms of the space, the ballroom is large and the ceiling is beautiful. The food was also delicious. Our out of town guests all enjoyed the convenience of staying at the hotel as well. we had a challenging time with the valet (they shut it down mid-event and told our guests to find their own parking) and event management team, as many of the details that we discussed prior to our wedding were not in place on the day of the wedding, so that was disappointing. If you are doing your wedding here, I would recommend being incredibly detail-oriented and on top of the Renaissance event management (or hiring a wedding planner to do this for you), as a lot got missed on our event that was clearly outlined and discussed ahead of time. Despite these mishaps, we still had an incredible wedding and the venue is truly breathtaking!

They were there to answer questions every step of the way, and they were able to offer up suggestions to make our planning process even better. The food was absolutely delicious! We had tons of rave reviews from our guest on the portion sizes of the meals and the quality of food. When we went in for our tasting, we were blown away by the flavors. You can’t make a wrong choice with the food options they have! We even had a farewell brunch with family and out of town guests the next day, and it was just as delicious. To add to just how amazing the service is at the hotel, my 90 year old grandmother wanted a scoop of ice cream for dessert at the wedding and a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast the next morning, and they did it without any hesitation or question. All around, the service at the Renaissance was above and beyond. We had a small snafu where I sent an item out for drycleaning Friday night that I needed the next morning, and apparently the local cleaner wouldn’t have it done until Monday. I still have no idea what happened, but the hotel got my item back from the dry cleaner while we were at the rehearsal dinner down the street. Crisis averted! I can’t rave enough about the experience with the Renaissance hotel. Between myself and my husband, our parents, and all of our guests, everyone was thrilled with the service and experience.

e ballroom is absolutely STUNNING. We also felt that we would be taken care of and that is exactly how you want to feel when planning a wedding. It was also a bonus to be able to crawl upstairs at the end of the night and not have to worry about shuttles. We had to postpone our date TWO TIMES and the staff were very accommodating. We originally worked with Nikki before the pandemic hit and then began to work with Jordan. Both ladies were great to work with. Jordan picked up and finalized things as the big day drew near. It was very refreshing to see her familiar face when we got back to the Renaissance after the ceremony. She kept things moving and made sure we were taken care of all night long. EVERYONE that worked our wedding night (wait staff, bartenders, valet, etc) were all so friendly. Not just to the wedding party; but they were friendly to all of our wedding guests. The night of our wedding the staff was attentive and responsive, and everyone was very friendly. Our guests loved the space and it's easy to see why. The size of the room meant it never felt crowded but the way the Renaissance team worked with the space it didn't feel empty either. I can't recommend this as a venue enough. We had ceremony and reception in the Burnham Hall ballroom. It was perfect for a dramatic effect since we knew we weren't having a church ceremony. My day was literally perfect and so many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they've ever been to - so much of this is due to the venue. I can't thank them enough!
