After seeing our engagement photos, we knew wedding day would be iconic and even hired Rebecca to come to the rehersal dinner. Rebecca was so much more than a photographer on wedding day - she was my hype woman, personal assistant, and friend. Rebecca has a presence that makes you feel relaxed and carefree in front of the camera. She brings the perfect balance of fun and professionalism. Not only is she incredibly skilled at capturing a picture-perfect photo, but she also has a unique ability to bring emotion and life to her work. When I see my wedding photos, I sincerely feel like I'm back in the moment -- I can feel the excitement and remember the smells and hear the noises from that day -- and I feel so blessed that her photos allow me to re-live the memory over and over. I cannot wait to work with Rebecca again in the future!

Her work post wedding is equally fantastic, as sneak peak pics came in sooner than expected, and the gallery is stunning with a timeless and classic look that we love. Easily the best money spent in our wedding budget.

I have had the hardest time picking photos because they are all SO beautiful! Not only are her photos amazing but she was so great and easy to work with! She made everything so much fun. My wife and I can, admittedly, be a bit awkward during photos that feel staged, but Rebecca’s demeanor and suggestions made it easy for us to feel natural for our photos. She did an incredible job of capturing real, authentic moments that show who we are as a couple. In our initial conversations with Rebecca, we talked through everything we do and do not like in photos. For us, it was far more important to emphasize people over details. From the start, she made it very clear to us that she would deliver the exact types of images we envisioned, then followed through tremendously. Additionally, Rebecca’s eye for detail, combined with her tenacity in lending a helping hand came in handy throughout the engagement shoot and wedding as she was quick to steam wrinkles out of dresses, adjust bowties, and even fix the bride’s hair during the reception. Not only did the photos from our wedding turn out to be incredible, but we also received a lot more photos than we thought we would, and much earlier than we anticipated. With the wedding still so fresh in our minds, it made looking through the images even more enjoyable. Outside of her stellar work as a photographer, we found Rebecca to be a genuinely kind, hardworking and honest person, making it very easy to work together. For these reasons, and many others, we are thrilled to refer Rebecca to anyone who wants a top-notch photographer for their wedding.

have any idea of what we wanted and just let Rebecca do her thing- she made us feel SO comfortable when we were both not used to being in front of a camera at all! For our wedding, we had a couple of shots that we requested, but otherwise, she came up with a ton of different creative poses and she found incredible places to take pictures. Our favorite picture turned out to be one that she took spur of the moment towards the end of the night- which just furthers proves that she has a true, intrinsically artistic eye that you will not just find anywhere else. We get comments all the time about how our wedding pictures are 'the best I've ever seen' and we just love looking at them and reminiscing about our day. She came to Chicago for our engagement shoot which was on a sailboat and this girl killed it. It was one of my favorite memories from the wedding process! ot very photogenic and I hate being “staged” into a position. Rebecca was able to take that and go with it, and truly capture REAL moments between my wife and I. For our engagement photos, we had Rebecca meet us at our home, as we wanted our new house, and our dog Kenya, to be part of our engagement memories. We are typically pretty awkward when it comes to posing for photos, so instead, Rebecca kind of just set the scene for us and let us fill it out. It was quite a pleasant experience overall and I think we all had a lot of fun with it. Rebecca also got some amazing shots of Kenya, doing a doggie model shoot with her while we were changing so she scored major bonus points with us there! The day of the wedding was pretty hectic (as I have been told they usually are) but Rebecca was always a very calm and collected presence which helped relax us and made doing the first look, and photos prior to the wedding easy. She kept very well to our loose schedule, and was able to catch brilliant photos very quickly. We rarely had to do very many takes, and she just clearly has a great eye for lighting, background, angle, and general tonal setting for a photo. We had our wedding at the State House where Rebecca escorted me prior to my wife and other attending members showing up, so that we could get it all setup. She had to carry her bags and tripod through a security check and metal detector, and she did it all with a smile. At the reception, she was able to catch everyone in their very natural states, and it made the entire collection of photos for the evening feel very authentic, because they really were. She also had fun with some of our guests catching some very memorable photos which made us laugh quite a bit when reviewing the photos. The whole thing went off perfectly, and she blended in as one of us. Hopefully she was as comfortable with all of us as we were with her by the end of it! In summary to my essay, she was simply amazing. Her knowledge of photography and skill is impeccable which we knew prior to working with her. Her knowledge of the city, relatable and enjoyable personality, and ability to really just go with the flow and make us feel very comfortable throughout the whole experience were complete bonuses we didn’t expect. She captured our special moments perfectly, and we couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you, Rebecca!

ck off on our list! Rebecca was natural, made us feel comfortable, directed us, got excited with us, and was a seamless addition to our special day! She was also fast with her response and detailed with her information. We knew we wanted to elope at Turkey Run State Park in the afternoon but were also flexible with the exact time because of weather. . . and she was flexible with us! She was more than willing to hike over a mile through the woods with us, gear in tow, up and down rocky and wooden steps – to capture the moment. The day before we eloped, she let us know she was keeping track of weather and proposed we meet earlier to avoid the rain and catch the good sun! It was so wonderful knowing she had our backs and was aligned with our intentions for the day! We surprised our families the evening of our elopement with the wonderful news and Rebecca sent us sneak peeks and a video of our vows to share with them (that very same day). I was blown away and didn’t know we could be so lucky to share photos and a video with loved ones just hours later. Rebecca also curated the loveliest video, paired with a sweet song, that I will forever cherish (she sent it while we were on our honeymoon)! It was completely unexpected and is a testament to her talent and love of capturing families in their most special moments. When we got the photos back, they looked exactly how that day felt to us. Casual, natural, fun, and timeless. The photos were stunning, she captured and our happiness so well. She is so thoughtful and immensely talented! I feel honored to have had her photograph our elopement.
