About me...
My name is Patrick (Reachout) Coll, I am a NY based DJ, originally from Edinburgh Scotland. I create bespoke sets for each event, provide a state of the art Evol 50 1000W sound system with microphones, can handle all your announcements and provide insurance.
I truly believe in the power of music to bring magic to any occasion and treat every event as an opportunity to create a once in lifetime experience for everyone involved. Having the power to create impactful memories in peoples' lives is why I DJ and love it!
Be able to connect people from different generations and demographics on the sacred space of the dance floor is a duty and honor I cherish. This is especially true with wedding work and I view the reception as being a powerfully important and integral part of the whole ceremony.
The process for curating the music for an event begins weeks beforehand. I work closely with clients to put together bespoke playlists, perfect for the occasion. This part of the job I love because it introduces me to new people and music from around the world!

We hired Patrick for our December 2023 wedding in September, which is not tons of notice. He always responded promptly. He was very straightforward about his pricing. He followed u...
p with the venue about their sound system, and when he knew he’d have to bring his own equipment, he gave us a reasonably revised invoice. He has an expansive knowledge of music genres. He did a great job on the wedding day. The venue had two different spaces, one for cocktails/dancing, one for dinner. He matched the mood for each. We had a huge age range in guests—15 to 91, and he kept everyone happy. He played Irish, Christmas, 60s/70s rock, jazz and dance music smoothly over the course of the afternoon/evening. He also introduced the speeches and first dance, and he worked with photographer to help coordinate table/group photos. It was very positive to work with Patrick. Enjoy!
Patrick was an incredible DJ and we cannot recommend him more. He liaised with us to understand our precise requirements and the flow of the day, which was particularly involved as...
it was a Hindu ceremony. On the day of the wedding Patrick did an excellent job playing the right music at the right times and adhering not only to our selection, but also choosing other songs which he thought we would enjoy. The party was lit, since we had such great tunes playing at all times. The transitions and mixing were amazing too. You will not be disappointed if you choose Patrick as your DJ!
Patrick is the best DJ, ever!

nres into one cohesive night of celebration. Our friends and family raved that it was the best wedding ever - largely thanks to Patrick for keeping the energy going all night. - Caitlin E

DJ Reachout was a match made in heaven. From the get go he was responsive, professional, friendly, and very collaborative. We are a creative couple who had a very particular/peculi...
ar aesthetic for our wedding and he very quickly became part of our creative team. He worked hard to bring our aesthetic to everything musically and even when guests decided not to follow the prompts or the schedule he rolled with the punches, took charge, and adapted without breaking the magic of what we worked to create.
Everyone from 16-93 danced through the night. I cannot recommend him enough.
The most important thing to us at our wedding was the dance floor. Patrick kept people dancing all night long. The night ended with everyone chanting “one more song!” We’re so than...
kful that he did a great job mixing in our “must-plays” with other great songs. He was also super respectful of our “do not plays”. Great communication all-around. Super responsive. He even helped us pick a perfect version of the hora. Love Patrick!
I’ve known Patrick for several years and was thrilled that we could have Reachout as the DJ at our wedding. It was essentially 25 percent wedding ceremony and 75 percent dance part...
y and Reachout killed it for hours into the night. Almost everyone who commented on the evening said (aside from how great the bride looked) that the music was amazing and it felt like the party of the decade. And that was in no small part because Reachout read the crown and had everyone enthusiastically dancing, connecting with the crowd (from multi-generational to cross-cultural to cross-gender) until we closed out the venue. That takes a DJ with extensive musical knowledge and a feel for when the time is right to mix up what’s on the decks. Reachout worked with us on a playlist, hit our special tracks, but brought so much more to make our wedding fabulous. Patrick’s warm and engaging personality, experience as an artist, and passion for music makes his performance as a DJ unforgettable.
REACH DJ’d a recent wedding for me where the guests were mainly professional musicians and DJ’s. That’s a tough Timon! But his ability to read the crowd and pace is sets was an art...
form unto itself. He got the entire room on the floor, even those who typically shy away from dancing. His presence behind the decks is so warm and engaging, when I looked out at the room it was a sea of smiles and moves. His musical knowledge is extensive pending him the rare ability to work with almost any client. A large portion of my time is spent finding and hiring DJ’s for events, in a perfect world I would just use REACH. My confidence that he can make that critical time of an event unforgettable is beyond compare. For the wedding I am referring to, REACH DJ’d sets on several nights, always mixing it up it with the same awesome result. He is a pleasure to work with to boot!
Before I even get into my overwhelmingly positive experience, I'll preface this review by praising Patrick's flexibility and responsiveness. Between losing a venue and rescheduling...
twice due to recent events, Patrick always kept in touch and worked with us up until we were finally able to celebrate our wedding with others. During our initial meet we discussed the venue and what music we were looking for and closer to the date, we sent over a list of songs and discussed timeline specifics. I will be the first to admit my music list was all over the place...from some classic 80s songs to recent alternative/electronic to 90s/00s R&B and HipHop. Patrick seemed completely unfazed and he definitely delivered! The music was spot on and he managed to get a group of people who rarely venture onto the dance floor out and enjoy themselves. It was clear as day that Patrick is a professional and has loads of experience under his belt from the planning, the flow day-of, and most importantly the music selection/transition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Patrick to anyone.
We couldn't have asked for more out of a DJ for our wedding. Patrick was very professional and responsive amongst all the stress of planning a wedding and very knowledgeable and in...
tuitive mixing the music, especially because our tracks were not traditional wedding dance hits. Highly recommend for a wedding or any party!
Patrick was the perfect DJ for our wedding. During the consultation/planning phase, Patrick was extremely patient, cooperative, and excellent with his communications. I could tell ...
very quickly that he was a charming and genuine person, and his pitch and introduction were very visibly genuine. He really stood out against other vendors I spoke with, especially the ones that were organized as "entertainment companies" -- pitches from those places generally came off too rehearsed, formulaic, and sales-y. On the wedding day, Patrick's execution was precise and impeccable. Working with the day-of coordinator, he knew exactly where to set up and when, making introductions and announcements with perfect precision. As for the playlist, oh my, I was completely blown away. I had provided a playlist to use for inspiration, and he completely nailed it based on my suggested playlist. It was exactly the kind of music we were looking for, and I honestly could not have chosen a better playlist myself. All the guests had an amazing time. I would even say that for many of our good friends, I have never seen them having that much fun. For my wife and me, it was truly the best day of our lives and the most fun we've had. Thank you Patrick for helping us with this very special day :)

songs, DJ REACHOUT knew exactly what we wanted. His music, energy, and kindheartedness put everyone attending our wedding in an amazing mood --we are still hearing friends/family raving about DJ REACHOUT! If you're looking for a seamlessly talented addition to your event, you won't be disappointed with DJ REACHOUT! We are lucky to now call him a friend :)

around NYC and he truly stands out. He is super kind, easy going, organized, professional and most of all he crushes it on the music and keeps the party going. He does a great job of getting to know what the client wants and building out from there. He is also a great MC, never over the top or cheesy. He will always keep the ambiance elegant, fun and cool. I have worked with him on weddings, fundraisers and even hired him for my own birthday! Can't recommend Reachout Events enough!
Although Patrick, (Reachout) is listed as a Wedding DJ, after reading his great reviews I decided to book him to provide the music for my 80th Birthday party in a local hotel.

irst meeting I was immediately impressed by Patrick;s warmth humor, and professionalism, and by his ability to adapt to any age group. Patrick showed endless patience helping me with my playlist for the night, displaying an encyclopedic knowledge of music and genres. Those 20 years of experience really show!! On the night Patrick arrived promptly with a terrific sound system and equipment. He did a great job as MC, displaying a rare gift for remaining totally focused while seeming completely relaxed. I had left the music for dancing up to Patrick and he certainly knew what to play as he had the whole room up on the floor from first song to last. Thank you Patrick for making my 80th Birthday Party so very very special!!! Maybe I can book you for my 90th!!
