l in planning our timeline, providing advice along the way, and had the best energy on our wedding day. Our photos capture the joy and love from our wedding day and we are so grateful to have those memories. She helped us pose and feel comfortable during our engagement photo shoot and wedding day. We have a big family and Rachel got through family photos in under 15 minutes. We would hire Rachel again and again if we were to run it back. THANK YOU!

tos she took for us are beautiful!! Rachel provided us with so many photos, it is hard to choose our favorites. She even allowed us to include our two dogs in our engagement session and made sure they were both comfortable and were looking at the camera most of the time! My husband and I are so grateful for Rachel, and all her hard work to deliver some of the best photos I'm sure we'll ever have.
Rachel Yearick Photography photographed our September 2023 wedding at 6 Pastures in Winchester, VA, and I would totally recommend her!
I first met Rachel working alongside her at ...
a wedding in 2021. Not only was she an absolute delight to work beside but the quality and look of her images stood out to me in a crowd of wedding photographers.
After introducing my husband to Rachel, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product. Rachel knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend.
Leading up to the wedding, Rachel would often check in with us and shared her wealth of knowledge and expertise when it came to adjusting the timeline, creating shot lists and providing overall ease as the day was getting closer!
Rachel's eye for detail is astounding, and beyond her technical expertise, she is a joy to work with. On the day she was able to navigate through multiple sets of family photos (that included three year old twin boys which is an accomplishment of it's own), moved swiftly through the portrait session, and knew when to blend into the background and when to assert herself to get the best pictures.
If you value photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further.
We will treasure these photos forever. Thank you, Rachel Yearick Photography!

ont of the camera. We did our engagement photos with her, and both my fiancé and I are super awkward and don't know how to take good photos, but she made the whole experience fun and easy, giving us easy prompts to follow on how to stand or walk. The pictures came out beautifully! We really enjoyed our time with Rachel!

hankful she was able to work with us to make that happen! She helped us find the perfect overlook in Shenandoah and was just such an amazing resource in the planning. She had amazing ideas for locations, helped us with timelines etc. and truly captured the magic of that day!! Almost a year later looking back at the photos she took brings me right back to the feelings and emotions of that day, so thank you Rachel for all you do!!

who doesn’t know much about photography, we appreciated how Rachel captured and edited the photos—her work exceeded our expectations. She made us feel confident during our photoshoots, even guiding us with poses that included our dog, Raymi. We especially loved having the option of a second photographer on our wedding day.
We were initially nervous about communication on our wedding day since our families speak Spanish, and while organizing everyone for family portraits is always a challenge, Rachel managed the situation well to keep things organized. She was also flexible enough to capture candid moments while waiting on family members, which we truly appreciated. Rachel’s professionalism and generosity with her time made the entire experience enjoyable. We’re thrilled with how the photos turned out and highly recommend her to couples looking to capture their special day. We are incredibly grateful for Rachel!

Not to mention, Rachel is incredibly kind and sweet. We genuinely enjoyed having her with us on our special day. The results were stunning—our photos turned out beautifully, and we’ve received countless compliments on them.
Rachel also delivered our photos incredibly quickly. We’re excited to use Rachel for all of our photography needs going forward. If you’re considering hiring a photographer for your wedding, look no further than Rachel. She is exceptional!!!

ly efficient and organized, and we received multiple compliments from our guests about how seamlessly they captured the day. Rachel's attention to detail was exceptional. She managed to capture so many beautiful, candid moments that we will cherish forever. Despite facing some rain showers and delays with hair and makeup, Rachel was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the schedule in the morning, making sure that every important moment was beautifully documented. We were thrilled with her quick turnaround—receiving a preview of 150 photos in under a week and the full gallery within a month! Rachel’s enthusiasm and attention to detail truly captured the spirit of our day. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Thank you, Rachel!

s for baby showers and bridal showers, and several weddings in my family. This was our first time using Rachel and she wildly exceeded my expectations and experiences with every other photographer I've ever worked with. While I've had experience with professional photos here and there, my fiance never has and we were both a little worried on how comfortable and natural we'd feel in this setting. Rachel immediately made us both feel comfortable and the shoot felt easy. We both felt like ourselves and somehow like we were the only two people in the world. She's funny, listens to your style and works with your natural comfort, but simultaneously encourages flattering poses and ideas we wouldn't think of. Oh! And she's super quick. She got us about a quarter of our photos the next day and the rest of them not more than two weeks later. There is literally not one photo I do not like. And that's insane because I have had whole entire shoots with other photographers where I can't find one photo I do like!
There is absolutely no question Rachel is our go-to photographer from here on out. I will recommend her to everyone I know and love from here on out. I'm so grateful we went out on a limb and worked with a stranger. (Who is now a friend!)
