geous. She accommodated us tremendously by doing hair and makeup at my home and never missed a beat. Working with her was wonderful and seamless. I can’t recommend Rachel enough!

I’m so glad I chose Rachel for my big day! I had made it very clear to her what I wanted, and she aced it at the bridal trial and on the day of the wedding with my hair and makeup!...
She was very open to trying out different colors than some of the ones we tested during the trial. She matched my skin color perfectly and did my hair exactly how I had envisioned it. Great communication and great personality! I would 100% go to her again for any events in the future! Thank you, Rachel!!
I cannot recommend Rachel and her team highly enough. Her and her girls gave my bridal party and family the best experience on my wedding day this past November. Everyone was so jo...
yful and fun, it brought such a warmth and ease to what could be such a hectic and stressful day.
When I say that my hair and make-up were perfect, I truly mean it. Rachel seemed to so effortlessly take my notes from our trial run and nail something better than I was hoping for. I felt so comfortable and confident the entire evening - I seriously can't express how much that mattered to me. Going into the process and looking through hair and makeup options, I had kind of settled on the fact that maybe I wouldn't look like myself or wouldn't LOVE it, but that that would be okay.
Turns out - makeup and fancy hair CAN look good on me - it just takes an artist who not only knows her shit, but listens and reflects her client's feedback into their work. Looking back at the photos and videos has been so much fun because 1. I looked fabulous and 2. I can tell I FELT fabulous.
If you're needing hair and makeup for a wedding or event - you'll be in great hands with Rachel.

as made, which helped me stay on top of things. I was originally trying to find an Asian makeup artist around the Austin area, but to no one's surprise the market is lacking in Asian MUAs. At my hair and makeup trial, she listened to my preferences and was open to feedback. Long story short, she nailed the bridal look and we had so much fun at both the makeup trial and on day of the wedding. You're the best, Rachel!

y and stress free for me! She sent 2 artists to our hotel for my mother and 4 bridesmaids, and then she showed up for me at noon at the venue! I paid for Rachel to stay until after the ceremony - I wanted to make sure to get my makeup touched up before photos. She not only helped touch me up, but she also fixed my mother's hair and made sure we all felt comfortable and happy! She has a super calm presence and even sat with me in the bridal suite and helped keep me calm before the ceremony. My makeup was flawless and my hair was exactly what I envisioned. I felt like a princess! Rachel Hill is 100% the HMU vendor you need to book for your big day!

Rachel did my hair and make-up for my wedding (and my trial!). She really listened to what I wanted, paid attention to my tricky skin and how it reacted to makeup, and went above and beyond in all ways imaginable. She also did the hair and makeup for a friend and several family members and everyone couldn’t stop raving about what an incredible job she did. during my wedding. I seriously couldn't believe what I saw in the mirror. She and her team were friendly, on time, and efficient. They'll make you feel right at home and make sure you're looking great before you leave for your wedding. Rachel also was understanding when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. It can't be easy to do hair and makeup during a pandemic, but her team made it look easy. She took extra precautions to make sure everyone was and everything was sanitized. I highly recommend her services.

wedding day. DEFINITELY recommend booking a trial in addition to wedding day. Doing a trial with Rachel just makes your experience with her that much better because she asks for feedback after the trial. Rachel was promptly on time, came prepared, was so easy going, and everyone loved their finished look! Highly recommend!

t day I wanted a polished updo instead of the loose updo I asked for she totally killed that look on the day of! She is so kind and warm - the perfect person to have getting you ready during a stressful time. She also did the hair and makeup for my mom and mother-in-law. They were both blown away with the hair and makeup. The eyelashes she did for them were so natural but fun for the moms to wear! I can't express how amazing Rachel is --- both because of her talent AND because of her personality!!

was extremely easy to reach through email, and was clear and personable while planning and scheduling my bridal trial and the wedding day. She was even able to work with me through a couple of last-minute location issues, and everything still went smoothly! Rachel was able to schedule my somewhat large bridal party perfectly, and the two extra stylists she brought to help out were also as sweet as can be and seemed genuinely eager to help my bridesmaids look exactly how they wanted. I can't recommend Rachel and her stylists enough!

lawless but also very natural. She also did makeup for both my mom and my husband's mom and they LOVED her as well. She made them both feel so beautiful and pampered and special and I can't thank her enough for that! In addition to being super talented she also totally put me at ease (which is quite a feat because I am a real Type A nut job), she was so on top of it the whole time I had no worries about her at all and she is also just such a fun person to be around!! DEFINITELY book her!!

realized it wasn't what I wanted, she was so sweet and scheduled one more trial with me to try another look. She worked within my crazy morning schedule, even got an extra artist or two for my girls and me last minute! It meant the world to me that she was so willing to work with me on that especially on such short notice. Day of the wedding, she was prompt, so pleasant to work with, and went above and beyond, even helping with my hair last minute.
If I ever need/want make up done again, I'll be going back to Rachel for sure.

al, sweet, and a joy to work with. She took notes during my trial & created a gorgeous makeup look for me that was exactly what I pictured. She did partial makeup for two of my bridesmaids and they both commented on how much they loved their makeup looks. Rachel even stayed extra time to help show me how to put my veil on and made me a small touch up kit. One of my bridesmaid's dress was accidentally altered too much and were having trouble getting the zipper up and the clasp together. But Rachel jumped in there and pulled off a miracle and was able to get it together for us. I can't thank her enough. If you're looking for a makeup artist for your wedding, Rachel is top notch!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

s actually the very first vendor I reached out to when we decided on a day- it was that important!!! I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, my hair and makeup turned out even better than I could've imagined and all of my bridesmaids loved their make up too! I had one girl tell me she liked her hair/makeup on my wedding day better than she liked it on her own wedding day! Other than the fact that Rachel is obviously extremely talented at what she does, she is incredibly kind, easy going, and was so enjoyable to work with throughout the whole planning process leading up to the wedding. I cannot recommend Rachel Hill Makeup enough!!!
