As someone who is not an everyday makeup wearer, I was nervous and a bit overwhelmed going into booking beauty services, but Rachel and her team made everything so seamless. Our B...
eauty Lou team made everyone feel gorgeous and confident, and had great advice to use in our every day looks. Kayla and Ryen were our style team for the day and they had such a wonderfully calm and peaceful energy about them. Even with some surprise schedule changes on the morning of, it was such a relaxing process getting ready with them. They fit right into our group, and we were all laughing and joking nonstop - it was so much fun being pampered by them. I felt and looked so beautiful at the end of the process, and so did all of my wedding party. On both trials and day of, my hair and makeup lasted all day without needing any touch ups, and any changes I requested were accommodated with no issues. Beauty Lou is the best, and should I need professional beauty services again, they'll be the first I call.
I cannot say enough about Rachel and her team at BeautyLou. From the trials with Rachel and Adelaide to wedding day, they made me feel supported, calm, and my very best self! I hav...
e never had my makeup done by anyone before, and Rachel blew me away. I felt like me, but elevated, and truly felt SO beautiful! Makeup is an art in of itself and Rachel has a true gift! We had a blast on wedding morning and I couldn’t have imagined anyone else to be there doing all our makeup and hair (11 bridesmaids + MOB/MOG!). Thank you Rachel and the BeautyLou team for your calming, kind spirits. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have had my hair and makeup done on my wedding day by them!
First and foremost I will say that I absolutely loved my hair and make up on my wedding day! Lauren and Rachel were great, they arrived to our home and finished on time and were gr...
eat cheerleaders. Lauren was absolutely amazing and handled several requests with easy. I was a little frustrated with the contract and all the hidden fees. Upfront I knew that it was going to be $700 per stylist. What I wasn't aware of was that the reservation fee is not applied towards that total. Hair and make up trial is also not included and was an additional $250, plus a $100 travel fee even in Louisville where they are based. With all of my wedding contracts any reservation fee was applied towards the total. The contract was very vague. Again, I absolutely loved my hair and make up on my wedding day! But at the end of the day I had a small bridal party and the hidden fees added up and didn't necessarily make the price worth it.
I am one of the parents of the groom. Unfortunately, I paid Rachael $95 in advance through Venmo. I was told I would get a text of when I was to be there on the wedding day and nev...
er received a time slot text. She kept my money and refused to reimburse me. She did the makeup that day for at least 7 other ladies. I gave her several chances to reimburse me and she refused. She kept the money and I got nothing in return. Just very bad customer service.
Rachel was amazing for my Sept 2022 wedding. I was an out-of-town bride and came down to Louisville for the trial to meet Rachel in her super cute studio. I am not a major glam gir...
l so was a bit nervous because I've never liked getting my makeup professionally done since I am not used to seeing my face glammed up. But my trial was a great experience, we did make some tweaks and the end result on my wedding day was amazing. I looked like myself but better! She and her assistant glammed myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mom/MIL. Everyone looked stunning and said how much they liked working with Rachel. My husband among others remarked that everyone looked so good. We all felt like a million bucks!
I absolutely LOVED working with Rachel for my wedding makeup! I first met with her during my makeup trial. At the end of the trial, I decided I wanted to tweak a couple things, and...
she listened to my concerns and made the changes until I felt happy and confident.
On the day of, Rachel and her assistant did makeup for 10 people in total and actually finished quicker than what was originally estimated, so I never felt rushed my wedding morning. She was such a sweet, calm, and welcoming presence during the chaos of a wedding morning. She pampered me and made sure I was present with the process. She made me and my bridesmaids look and feel absolutely gorgeous! I have never felt more beautiful and confident and cannot recommend Rachel enough!
I would highly recommend Rachel and her team to make your beauty dreams come true!

ne looked stunning and I got so many compliments all night on my makeup. This is truly the first time I haven't had to 'fix' anyone's makeup in the bathroom because they didn't look how they requested to look. I can't wait to have Rachel do my makeup again.

ing day and I could not recommend her enough! Rachel is not only a total professional, but she also made the day more fun just by being herself! If you are in search of a makeup artist for a big (or small) event, look no further as no one is better than Rachel!

talking about coming to Louisville to use some of the services she offers. Rachel also did my spray tan prior to the wedding and it was hands down the best spray tan I ever had. It looked so natural, and I was so happy with the color! Any time I need my make up professionally done in the future, Rachel is definitely my go-to girl.

about what I needed to do, she was on top of it and would tell me before I needed to ask. She was very calm the day of the wedding. She's easy to talk to and kept the girls laughing while getting their makeup done. Rachel did a fantastic job with makeup. All the girls loved their makeup and raved about how it looks natural, but pulled out their best features. I could go on and on, she was the best!
Rachel was amazing! My make up and all my bridesmaids make up just looked flawless that day I was so happy. She is just one of the nicest people ever to work with!!
