Rarely do iIfind myself wishing i could give 10 stars instead of 5! I don't know where to begin to explain how incredible Rachel and her whole team are. I produce events for a li...
ving and Im a tough critic but I literally have NO NOTES - Rachel gave me the biggest gift ever - i got to turn off my producer hat and just be mother of the bride. The entire process was so well organized , there wasn't a thing that Rachel hadn't thought of - every time i thought of something throughout the process Rachel already had a plan for it. Rachel has a quiet in charge energy that is absolutely perfect. It is also clear how much the vendors enjoy working with her and that is so important to a seamless and successful event! Rachels team omg - one was better than the next! Wedding planning needn't dominate your life and working with Rachel is the key to that - things are planned for and there is a timeline for everything and it all gets done with NO DRAMA. Lastly, we had fun and we already miss her so much !
Where do I even begin with Rachel?! She is truly the BEST. From the very beginning, she made the entire wedding planning process feel fun, exciting, and somehow completely stress-f...
ree. I kept waiting for the “wedding planning stress” everyone talks about… and it genuinely never came because Rachel had everything handled.
She completely understood my vision and made every single dream (and there were A LOT of them 😂) come to life. No idea was ever too much. I could send her a random thought or inspiration and she would immediately understand what I was going for, figure out how to make it happen, and somehow make it even better than I imagined.
And it wasn’t just the wedding — Rachel also planned my bridal shower, which was absolutely gorgeous and another perfect example of how well she understood my style and vision. Having her involved in everything made the entire wedding experience feel so cohesive and special from start to finish.
She was also incredible at keeping us on track with our budget, helping us figure out where it was worth spending, and managing the million little details that go into a wedding of this scale. I never felt like I had to chase anything or worry that something was being missed. She was organized, calm, honest, responsive, and just SO easy and fun to work with.
And then the actual wedding… I was absolutely blown away. Walking into the room and seeing everything we had talked about for months actually brought to life was surreal. Every detail was beyond what I had envisioned. I was able to be completely present, have the best night of my life, and not think about logistics for even one second because I knew Rachel and her team had it covered.
Our wedding truly felt like a dream, and so much of that is because of Rachel. She took all of my crazy ideas and turned them into the most magical, beautiful, FUN night. I genuinely cannot imagine planning our wedding without her. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Rachel 100 times over. 🤍
We truly could not recommend Rachel more highly! She was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She is incredibly organized, responsive, thoughtful, and on top of ...
every single detail, which made the entire planning process feel so much easier and more enjoyable.
Our wedding weekend went so smoothly, and we were able to actually relax and enjoy ourselves knowing Rachel had everything completely under control. Beyond being amazing at her job, she is also just such a lovely person to have around. Both my family and my husband’s family absolutely loved working with her and getting to know her throughout the process.
My sister also used Rachel to plan her wedding, and she was just as fantastic for hers—so we know our experience was definitely not a fluke! She consistently goes above and beyond for her couples and their families, and we feel so lucky to have had her as part of such an important time in our lives.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Rachel to anyone planning a wedding or any special event. She is truly the best!
My, now wife (!), and I worked with Lizzie from RBE for our wedding, and had nothing but a positive experience. Lizzie is amazing! She helped us every step of the way from sourcing...
vendors, to pinning down contracts, and even handling unexpected changes in vendor’s offerings. She was always quick to respond to any of our questions, had the timelines and deadlines available at a moment’s notice, and kept us organized.
We would regularly say to each other that we wouldn’t have been able to have the wedding we did without Lizzie. Planning a wedding, especially in the city, is always going to have a lot of moving pieces, but working with Lizzie and RBE was one of the best ways we set ourselves up to have the most magical day.
Oh am I excited to share about my experience with Rachel Behar, her whole team, and partner Lizzie!
My husband and I got engaged in June 2024 and married two years later in June 2...
026 in New York City. We found Rachel in August 2024, signed her on immediately after our initial chat, allowing us to work together for 22 months. Start to finish, it was one of the most special experiences of my entire life. Rachel extended the ‘wedding highs’ throughout every part of the process, from venue tours to going to pick out linens and tableware, to our tasting and our floral and decor mock up. We felt so supported and well cared for along the way, but I want to emphasize how much fun we had together with Rachel and the incredible network of vendors she extended to us.
I work in branding, have a specific vision, and certainly like to do things ‘my way’ and rather than making me ever feel difficult, Rachel only encouraged and ran with the big plans or found the most creative solutions to my strange asks. My husband did not have a specific vision, was along for the ride, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the passion and creativity Rachel pulled out of him. It was incredible to see how inspired he was by all the event planning efforts, and by the end, he ended up planning the after party (props and all…) It was a super sweet bonding experience for us.
I say this because whether you’re all in on the planning process or just along for the ride, I’m confident Rachel and team will always meet you where you’re at and steer the ship that only gets heavier as guests, plans, finances, etc. tack on.
And lastly!!! I want to talk about how perfectly our wedding weekend went. Tuesday afternoon her team started picking up all our packed wedding supplies from our apartment. Sunday morning, post wedding, our stuff was waiting for us back at our apartment. I had some dress issues, the usual stuff you can’t avoid, and Rachel and her team were there for it all with multiple solutions prepared. AND kept the energy calm, positive and cheerful. Never stressed or rushed. Every team member I interacted with was kind, polished and professional, of course, but I genuinely felt cared for and loved by them as if they were who I had been working with all 22 months! I was lucky to be able to work with Lizzie throughout the process as well and it feels extra special when another full time planner is as tapped into your wedding as one of her own.
I cannot recommend this team enough and look forward to a future event to work with Rachel Behar Events again 💕

We worked with Lizzie Torrance for our Williamsburg Wedding at Misi Restaurant in April, and can't recommend her and RBE enough. Like our wedding was literally 2 days ago and we couldn't wait to write this review. Lizzie is the ultimate professional, handling everything timely, seamlessly, and calmly - literally all the things you want AND need during this time. RBE had a very comprehensive set of tools and resources for the planning process, and sent just the right amount of reminders and recaps to keep us on track without being overwhelming. She coordinated and communicated with vendors and was super adept at filtering to us only what we needed to weigh in on. On the day, Lizzie and the RBE team were on it, managing the people, multiple venues, timeline, and all the behind-the-scenes details we probably didn't even know were happening so that we didn't have to think or worry about anything. If you want 100% confidence that your wedding will run perfectly, then ya gotta go with Lizzie and RBE.

ce...it was PERFECT!! Even though Rachel has been in the business for years, she made me feel like I was her only client. From day one, she was always three steps ahead. So organized, quick to answer every question, and if she didn’t have the answer, she found out immediately.
She was open to all of my ideas while also bringing her own creative vision, which made our wedding feel so unique, and truly “us.” She was always willing to try something new instead of repeating the same formula, which made our day feel special and personalized. Each month she kept us on track with updates, reminders, and clear timelines, making the whole process stress-free. And speaking of stress-free...day of our wedding, I didn't have a worry in sight. I stress about everything, but she allowed me to stay in the moment, not worry about anything, and everything was taken care of.
Beyond being an amazing planner, Rachel became a true friend. I’ve seen planners who are harsh or overly strict, but Rachel led with kindness and confidence—she got everything done without ever being intimidating. Every vendor who had worked with her before had glowing things to say; whenever I mentioned her name, the response was always, “You’re in the best hands.” And they were absolutely right.
Even after the wedding, Rachel checked in to see how our honeymoon went and how we were doing, which meant so much. If you’re considering hiring Rachel—do it. You will not regret it. Thank you, Rachel, for everything! 💕

eekend that felt so us and so perfect in every way. Months later, we still receive compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We truly couldn’t have done it without Lizzie’s professionalism, organization, kindness, and support!
From the start, Lizzie really took the time to understand what we were looking for in our wedding and was patient, flexible, and responsive. She introduced us to incredible vendors that she and the RBE team have strong relationships with, while also going out of her way to find new and different options to ensure that every aspect of our wedding perfectly fit our vision. In a place like New York where the options can feel endless and intimidating, Lizzie made the process feel so much more manageable and smooth.
Throughout the year, Lizzie kept us on track and organized, breaking down the planning process into monthly checklists and spreadsheets that made us feel confident each step of the way. When things ever felt stressful or intimidating, she approached everything so calmly and with a genuine kindness, which made her the best partner we could have asked for during the process.
The weekend of our wedding, Lizzie made sure everything ran so seamlessly - we cannot thank her enough for everything she did to allow us to enjoy our time together/with our guests and not have to worry about a single thing. This was also truly invaluable for our families, who both traveled from out of town and could spend their time enjoying the weekend. We truly could not be happier with how our wedding weekend went, all thanks to Lizzie and the RBE team!
Words can’t express how incredible our wedding weekend was and we owe SO much of that to Rachel (and her RBE team!).

son to work with and we cannot thank her enough.
From day 1, working with Rachel has really been such a joy. Starting with how Rachel solved a jig saw puzzle equivalent of mapping out all 8 venue site visits to ensure we have a seamless day, to knowing which incredible vendors to pair us with, to executing our vision to a tee, we couldn’t be more grateful. Rachel is truly SO impressive.
We are really going to miss working with RBE!!!!!

Every vendor we worked with spoke so highly of Rachel, which speaks volumes about her character, professionalism, and the warmth she brings to every interaction. She communicated with each vendor with kindness and respect and handled anything that came up with absolute grace.
On our wedding day, Rachel and her amazing team made everything run flawlessly. The day was beyond our wildest dreams and completely stress free, and we know it would not have been possible without her. We would work with her again 100 times over!
Beyond being an extraordinary planner, Rachel is a truly wonderful person. We feel so lucky to have had her by our side and cannot imagine celebrating such a special day without her guidance, expertise, and warmth!

ss-free. Every single detail was handled with care, creativity, and professionalism. From coordinating with vendors to executing our vision flawlessly on the day itself.
Our wedding day went off without a single hitch. Everything flowed perfectly, and we were able to just be present and enjoy every moment knowing Rachel had everything covered. We received endless compliments from guests about how beautiful, smooth, and well-run the day was, and that’s all thanks to Rachel and her incredible team.
Rachel truly went above and beyond to make it the best day of our lives, and we can’t thank her enough. If you’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, kind, and genuinely passionate about creating unforgettable celebrations, look no further. We’ll be forever grateful!

geable and had an immediate answer to even my most random questions. The wedding day itself was FLAWLESS and would not have been possible without Lizzie and RBE's clearly superb vendor contacts, knowledge of the venue, and overall professionalism and poise. I really cannot recommend hiring RBE enough - I would get married 5 times over if I could work with them again.

o be flawless. From the moment I had my introductory call with the RBE team I felt supported by their energy & professionalism and overtime, those same qualities also expanded into genuine friendship and joy as well. Lizzie was always so responsive/communicative, eager to share her professional opinion, a wealth of knowledge, and always had my back. She knew what I was looking for with each and every vendor and she didn't rest until she helped me achieve every one of my ideas! She was fiercely loyal throughout the entire planning process and kept us all organized so that we never felt overwhelmed or behind or stressed. All of the meticulous planning led up to the big day and her presence was key for my positive outlook and even guests were commenting to me about how fabulous and professional she was. It was so apparent to us all that she was born to be a wedding planner and she is AMAZING at it. I don't know what I would've done without her through the entire process and I already miss our frequent check-ins! Hiring RBE was the best investment we made in wedding planning and it paid off time and time again. The structure and function of the wedding day was perfect and she played such a major role in executing my design vision and I could not have been happier with every single detail. I love Lizzie & RBE and if you're considering hiring them, don't hesitate. Thank you for everything, RBE!

Her and her team helped make this absolutely the best weekend of our lives!!! We were able to feel so calm and live freely in the moment knowing she had every detail handled… we truly did not have to worry about one thing and she really helped make us feel so special and attended to on our big day. er the wedding, so many people complimented us on how smoothly everything went, and all credit for that goes to Lizzie.
Lizzie's calm presence was really nice to have. She was great to have around on the day of the wedding. She handled logistics smoothly and kept everything running on schedule without ever making anything feel rushed.
We also appreciated how she advocated for our preferences in vendor meetings and ensured our vision was reflected. Her vendor recommendations were great; we ended up hiring several people she connected us with and were very happy with each of them.
Working with Lizzie gave us confidence that everything was in good hands. We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and experienced planner. Thank you, Lizzie!
If Rachel is available for your wedding or event, thank your lucky stars and hire her immediately!
I met with a few planners before choosing Rachel. I could just tell she had that...
cool, calm, and collected energy you want in a planner, with the added bonus of a sense of humor and a willingness to help in any way she could.
She was beyond organized which I loved, and she was available via text or email pretty much instantaneously, which I think is pretty rare.
Rachel would ask us thoughtful questions about what we wanted for each aspect of our wedding, and then would reach out to vendors, discuss our wedding with them, and present them to us. Looking back, the vendors she guided us to all came together perfectly and matched our vibe. She was also open to reaching out to and working with a new vendor or two that I wanted.
On the day of, Rachel brought along Lizzie (who we also adore!) + more of her team, and they all ensured our day was flawless.
We will truly miss working with Rachel! If you're looking for someone you can trust to knock it out of the park and provide a stress free experience, Rachel is it, hands down.

ekend. From the very beginning, they were a dream to work with: incredibly responsive (we’re talking replies within minutes!), endlessly patient, and completely on top of every single detail.
Their communication is next-level, their timelines are laser-precise, and their organization skills are unmatched. Not only that, but they’re both genuinely delightful humans who bring a calm, positive, can-do energy to everything they touch.
Our wedding was a destination celebration on an island that came with a whole set of unique challenges—limited resources, tricky logistics, and curveballs at every turn—but Rachel and Lizzie handled it all with grace, creativity, and total confidence. They turned what could have been stressful into pure joy and magic.
Thanks to them, the entire weekend felt effortless and unforgettable. We felt fully taken care of and were able to be completely present with our loved ones. If you want your event to be flawlessly executed and filled with heart, look no further. These two are the best of the best!

t was truly a joy to work with Lizzie from start to finish. I still don’t know how she managed to make both the exhaustive months of planning and the countless day of coordination efforts so organized and seemingly effortless… but she did! It was the greatest day/night of our lives and absolutely perfect in every way — it really is all thanks to Lizzie and RBE!!!

two days later. They had very different needs and priorities, and Lizzie handled both with professionalism, perfection, and care. I'm a very type-A planner myself, and Lizzie matched my energy from day one with her organized spreadsheets, monthly to-do lists and check-ins, and impeccable attention to detail.
Lizzie consistently went above and beyond for us -- no request was out of the question. She even worked directly with our families to execute a surprise cake, which was one of the highlights of our entire weekend! On wedding day, she made us feel calm, supported, and taken care of, always reminding us to stay present and enjoy the moment for ourselves (which we could do because we knew that everything would be handled!). Thanks to the RBE team, our wedding was executed flawlessly and turned out even better than we expected.
On a personal level, Lizzie is caring, thoughtful, positive, friendly, and kind hearted. She got to know our families and cared about making the day special for them as well.
I could go on and on… but in short -- if you hire RBE for your wedding, it will be the best decision you'll ever make.

he minute we met that she was exactly what we needed. Rachel made everything feel seamless, stress-free, and even fun. She was always ten steps ahead, thinking through every detail, offering solutions before problems even arose, and ensuring our day was absolutely perfect. We were so blown away by how incredible she was during the wedding planning process that we hired her to help with the rehearsal dinner as well! Having Rachel involved made us feel so confident in what we were doing, knowing her and her team had it handled.
Beyond her impeccable organization, Rachel's relationships with her vendors made all the difference. She ensured we had the best team by our side and they were all willing to go above and beyond what we needed based on her relationships with them. When we wanted to see other options, whether for stylistic reasons or to compare budget ranges, she was always quick to identify them, and was flexible to our requests. She turned our vision into a reality beyond what we imagined, and we will forever be grateful.
On a personal note, Rachel brought a level of warmth and care that made the entire process feel personal. She answered every question—big or small—without hesitation and always made us feel like a priority. She even handled all of our family members with such professionalism and ease throughout the process!
On our wedding day, Rachel and her team handled everything flawlessly, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment. If you’re lucky enough to work with Rachel, consider yourself in the best hands possible. She is simply THE BEST!

termine our vision, find unique elements that made the events really our own, and executed it all flawlessly. Over 16 months of working together, Rachel found us amazing vendors that I feel so honored to have worked with and helped us shape our vision from scattered pinterest and instagram photos to a fully executable plan with color schemes, flower preferences, and lighting design. She understood what was important to us and made sure that we felt comfortable with every decision. I loved how much we were able to collaborate and brainstorm together -- Rachel was always happy to indulge my latest idea or interview a new vendor I wanted to consider.
My biggest fear with wedding planning was that I wouldn't be able to actually enjoy all of the events. Rachel completely stuck to her promise that my husband and I would feel like guests at our own wedding. I wholeheartedly trusted the RBE team to make the right judgement calls and handle any situation that might arise -- so much so that I have no idea if anything actually happened!
It's hard to believe that I won't be on regular texting / emailing / google meeting communications with Rachel and the team, but I know they are hard at work providing the same personalized and dedicated guidance to future couples. Anyone would be lucky to work with this team!
I don't even know where to start - but what I'll say is that our dream wedding would not have been possible without the RBE team. I'm a pretty type A person, and initially doubted ...
whether I even needed a planner. But looking back on everything that went into planning my wedding, I know I could not have done it without Lizzie and Rachel. Lizzie was by our side since the beginning, helping me (not a creative person) bring my creative vision to life, and taking all the work - that really started to pile up at the end - off my plate. Wedding planning is an incredibly stressful process, but the organization, industry knowledge, and most of all, calm/friendly/positive demeanor that Lizzie always had allowed me to push past the stress and enjoy the time for what it was. She was always accessible when we had questions and gave us the honest advice we often needed. I always felt like her priority was making our wedding as amazing as possible.
Meanwhile, Rachel supported us on our actual wedding day, and I can't express how helpful and calming her presence was. My only regret is not having her there at my rehearsal dinner! I was able to fully focus on being present for my special day because I was confident I could trust her to get everything done on time and extremely well, and she delivered! My friends were truly astounded at how smoothly and timely the whole day went. Rach, you made sure everything went off without a hitch, with a positive attitude the entire time.
Simply put, the RBE team are kind, supportive, organized, understanding, talented, and really, truly there for you. They feel more like friends than vendors, but manage to balance that with hard work that you can see the results of. You can trust that they will do everything in their power to make your day perfect. I couldn't recommend them enough!!

to know us and our style/preferences and recommended vendors that fit our needs perfectly. Every request was met with a positive attitude and a willingness to make anything work.
It was so nice to have a roadmap and to be able to focus on the big picture, knowing that all of the little details were being taken care of. The day of our wedding was totally stress-free and executed perfectly so that we were able to enjoy our time with loved ones. We didn’t even find out until after the event that our pizza order for the after-party had been cancelled! Lizzie somehow made sure it still showed up as expected.
We can’t recommend RBE’s team enough to anyone planning a wedding in NYC or beyond. The level of care and thoughtfulness truly exceeded expectations and didn’t go unnoticed by our guests. Thank you, RBE, for bringing our vision to life!

d planning from NYC, Lizzie was incredibly thoughtful, organized, and responsive, ensuring every detail was perfectly executed.
Lizzie’s energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and she made every aspect of the three-day event feel seamless, even when we encountered a few surprises along the way. Her attention to detail and ability to handle everything with such grace and positivity amazed not only us but also our guests, who continuously complimented how perfectly organized and timed everything was.
Lizzie’s thoughtfulness extended beyond the event itself. Returning to our room after our wedding night to find our wedding stuff so perfectly organized was the warmest touch. She truly made us feel taken care of from start to finish.
If you’re looking for wedding planners who are professional, personable, and go above and beyond, Lizzie and Rachel are the only right choice. We are beyond grateful for their help and wouldn’t have made it without them!

. She used a worksheet which was a part of an extremely well organized and streamlined RBE tracking system for everything from vendors, budgeting and payments, guests, timeline, photos, seating, stationery and more!
The quality of the vendors they work with is beyond par and she was able to match us with vendors that suited our vision for the wedding. They have established great relationships with vendors and are able to handle any challenges that arise.
On wedding day Lizzie and her team worked their magic, calmly getting everything done behind the scenes and with a polished presence throughout the event. Her previous experience at our venue and her expertise contributed to everything being perfect.
The compliments we have received are amazing. People noticed every lovely detail, including how perfectly everything went.
We’re very happy to have chosen Rachel Behar Events to guide us through the process. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

There was not one detail that was overlooked. Rachel worked seamlessly running interference between all of us and somehow made it look easy. Every vendor she recommended and the kids chose turned out to be great.
The number of complementary emails, texts and phone calls that I received saying how beautiful and warm and fun the weekend was is overwhelming and almost everyone I’ve spoken to mentioned how great they thought Rachel was too.
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say Rachel did an amazing job and we so appreciate her and Lizzie and the entire RBE team!!

Rachel didn't just understand our vision - she elevated it beyond our wildest dreams! Her attention to detail was simply mind-blowing, and the way she anticipated our every need made us feel like royalty. The personal touches she added throughout the process left us speechless - it was clear that she poured her heart and soul into making our day perfect.
We were blown away by the incredible vendors Rachel introduced us to. Each one was an absolute star, perfectly aligned with our style and wishes. It's obvious that Rachel has cultivated relationships with the best of the wedding industry, and we felt so lucky to benefit from her amazing network.
Thanks to Rachel's superhuman organizational skills, we were able to relax and soak in every moment of our special day. She handled every single detail with such grace and professionalism that we didn't have a care in the world except enjoying our time with each other and our loved ones.
Words can't express how grateful we are to have had Rachel as our wedding planner. She didn't just make our day unforgettable - she filled the entire experience with so much love, care, and joy that we're still floating on cloud nine. Rachel is more than a wedding planner; she's a miracle worker, a mind reader, and now, a dear friend.

Rachel’s impeccable organization, eye for detail, and genuine passion for what she does were evident in every aspect of the planning process. She listened intently to our ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and managed every detail with such grace and efficiency that we felt completely at ease throughout the entire journey. Her calm demeanor and problem-solving skills were invaluable, especially when unexpected challenges arose, but Rachel handled them with such poise that it was as if nothing ever went awry.
Our wedding was a seamless blend of elegance and personal touches, all thanks to Rachel’s dedication and creativity. From the stunning decor to the perfectly timed events, every element was beautifully orchestrated. Our guests are still raving about the day, and we owe so much of that joy to Rachel’s hard work and expertise.
If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is not only professional but also incredibly kind and intuitive, look no further than Rachel. She is truly a master of her craft and made our wedding day an unforgettable celebration of love and happiness. Thank you, Rachel, for everything – you helped us create memories we will cherish forever!
We had such a wonderful experience working with Lizzie & Rachel Behar Events to plan our wedding. From the very beginning, Lizzie helped us navigate the planning process with profe...
ssional precision, while also maintaining a commitment to our vision for the wedding weekend. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Lizzie went above and beyond to make sure we were on task & ahead of schedule on every detail, with as few logistical obstacles as possible. She made herself available to us as often as we needed, and even generously offered to pick up our day-of items the week before the wedding to ensure our check-in process would be smooth and easy.
On our wedding day, we had total confidence in Lizzie and the RBE team to handle all the logistics and coordination, allowing us to be completely in the moment with each other and all of our loved ones. The team was organized, detail-oriented and attentive, and executed a flawless day-of timeline. Every detail was exactly as we imagined and if there were any hiccups at all, we weren't made aware of them - truly the best gift we could ask for!
Rachel and her team went above and beyond to make sure there were no surprises, hiccups, or errors on our wedding day! Rachel is very organized (lots of spreadsheets and checklists...
!) which allowed for a stress free planning experience. Rachel made a day of timeline, down to five minute intervals, and she made sure we followed it perfectly. She is creative, an amazing listener, and has such a calming presence. She handles everything with a smile and doesn’t sweat the small stuff. Not only did she make sure everything was perfect leading up to and on the the big day, she made sure all of our special items (from ceremony, sleeves from dress, change of shoes, etc.) were organized and we got everything back! Lizzie was a huge help with organizing the room blocks. Rachel and her team genuinely cared about us and our families. She made sure there was reserved seating in the first few rows for our loved ones to have a close up view of our ceremony. Rachel and her team allowed myself, my husband, and our families to genuinely enjoy our wedding day and not have to worry about anything!
We had the pleasure of working with Rachel Behar as our wedding planner, and we could not be more thrilled with the experience she provided. From the onset, Rachel demonstrated exc...
eptional organization and communication skills. She is a spreadsheet queen, which helped us stay organized and keep track of everything from guest lists, to the day of timeline, and our budget. She was not only attentive to our needs but showed incredible thoughtfulness towards our loved ones. For example, she made sure my grandmother's wheelchair was positioned perfectly so she could fully enjoy and participate in my father's speech and then made sure to pack her a goodie bag of desserts when she needed to retire early in the night.
Rachel's dedication truly shone; she took all the potential stress upon herself, ensuring that we could focus on enjoying our special day. She made sure that every detail of the wedding was gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned. Her commitment didn't stop with the wedding day; she went above and beyond by offering fantastic recommendations for our Friday rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch, making the entire weekend seamless and memorable.
Thanks to Rachel Behar Events, we had the wedding weekend of our dreams. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will support you, manage every detail with grace, and make your wedding experience as joyful and stress-free as possible, Rachel is, without a doubt, the perfect choice.
Rachel and her associates took the stress out of wedding planning and helped make our special day exactly what we were hoping for. From the start, Rachel understood our vision for ...
the day and was cognizant that we were on a budget. We were going for something fun, colorful and funky. We knew the venue we wanted and Rachel was there to ask the right questions and to make sure it was the perfect spot for us. She quickly found outstanding DJs and photographers to choose from. In a matter of just a few weeks we had all the major vendors secured (venue, flowers, DJ, photographer). Not to mention, Rachel is based in NYC but was able to source all of our Michigan vendors with her research and ability to connect with EVERYONE.
While all the big items were outstanding, where Rachel really shined was on the details. Rachel kept us organized and timely in all aspects of planning utilizing a variety of tools including an amazing spread sheet. Putting together guest lists, sending invitations, finalizing seating charts, etc. She also thought of so many little touches to make the wedding special like having the perfect escort cards, place cards, ideas for the guest book menus, etc.
So many people in our lives warned us that on the day of your wedding some things will go wrong and that the wedding is for the guests to have fun rather than yourself. We can honestly say that wasn’t our experience at all. When things came up like a likelihood of rain for a partially outdoor wedding, we never felt stressed knowing we were in Rachel’s hands. We can’t think of a single thing that went wrong on the day of the wedding and we had a complete blast. The day of support from RBE associates was outstanding. We didn’t assume the wedding would be one of the best days of our lives, but that ended up being the case in large part due to Rachel’s vision, talent, work ethic and support.
WE LOVE RBE!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!
Z+D
We can’t recommend Rachel and her team enough!!! We worked with RBE for about a year to plan our wedding and from start to finish, they were a dream to work with. When our friends ...
and family asked us why we weren’t stressed at ANY phase of the process, we pointed to Rachel (and her spreadsheets/checklists :)). This was true for big details - when our after party venue closed down just a couple of weeks before our wedding date, within a day Rachel had sent us multiple amazing options. Or for small details - on the wedding day I thought we had misplaced my mom’s comfy shoes but Rachel’s team had already put them under her chair. This captures what working with Rachel is like - she has solved the problem before you even realize there was one.
Her relationships and communication with vendors was also integral to putting together a team that we were so excited to work with and seemed equally excited to work with us, in no small part due to their existing relationship with Rachel. She also quickly created relationships with new vendors that we introduced into the planning process. It is clear that whoever she engages with, she is professional, respectful, and a joy to work with.
Most of all, we felt listened to and that Rachel was advocating for what we really wanted every step of the way, from initial planning through every moment of the wedding weekend - and this was true for every single member of the RBE team we worked with. We weren’t a couple that came in with very distinct ideas about what we wanted our wedding to look like. Rachel took our vague ideas and incorporated them into an overall cohesive design and plan for the weekend that was SO us, integrating our cultures and personalities into every detail. She was available, super responsive, and flexible. Overall, the RBE team are a dream to work with and because of them, our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined!!
Rachel, Lizzie and the team are rockstars and were truly a joy to work with. We didn’t know what to expect going into the wedding planning experience since we’d never planned a wed...
ding or seen the party format/experience we hoped for, but were at ease with and impressed by RBE’s guidance. From our first conversation RBE were open to our ideas, reassuring, unflappable, yes people, and didn’t try to box us in.
RBE delivered on their word, managed expectations/timelines/personalities, were detail oriented, brought our visions to life, exceeded expectations and became friends in the process. Additionally, they helped curate the vendors we worked with, and surrounded us with a team that was similarly enjoyable, detail-oriented, and got things done.
We couldn’t have left working together with a more positive experience or sing their praises enough. They’re the best.
Where do I begin with Rachel and her team? We hired Rachel after meeting with 6-7 other event planners, and knew immediately she was for us because of her "yes" attitude. The weddi...
ng planning process is daunting - she was truly our compass, and never made us feel anything was out of reach (even though we had a budget and short engagement of 6 months). Working with Rachel is like working with the world's best project manager with incredible connections and relationships and great taste. She managed timelines, budgets, expectations, and familial dynamics with such professionalism and tact. We LOVED working with her, and could not recommend her and her team more highly.

erfectly on track while somehow keeping me calm, stress-free, and assured that nothing would slip through the cracks. On the wedding day, there was a moment when I was surrounded by Rachel and her team, plus my wonderful makeup artist, florist, and photographer, and I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for this absolute dream team of women bringing my dreams to life. Rachel is truly capable of making magic happen.
There are no words to describe how truly unreal Rachel and Lizzie are as a planning team. From day one, I felt completely supported and as if I was the only bride/wedding that they...
were handling (even though I knew there were a lot!)
From suggesting vendors, to project managing, to giving advice on decor, and SO much more, I couldn't recommend a better team. Not to mention, they are incredibly calm and really help to make you feel like they have everything under control, which they 100% do!
I really cant thank you two enough for making my day literally perfect. There was not ONE hiccup that I had to deal with and you both truly allowed me to just enjoy my day and focus on my family and friends.
BEST TEAM EVER!!!!!
Working with Rachel Behar Events was, without a doubt, the best decision we made when it came to wedding planning.
In terms of the actual planning and logistics of the big day, I...
LOVED how she organized and tracked all of the details, from the budget, to guest list, to vendors, to schedules, etc. Her system made everything clear and manageable for us. As one might imagine, there are an insurmountable number of tasks and decisions that need to be made for a wedding but her organizational system and timetables kept everything approachable and even fun. She is also incredibly quick to respond to emails/texts - no matter how small the question. On top of that, she has excellent relationships with the best vendors in the NYC-area and as such, we were able to have the most magical, unique and personalized wedding. That is a testament to how much she cares for each of her clients and how she goes above and beyond to ensure that the wedding is a true reflection of the couples’ wishes and personalities.
Aside from her process, Rachel is truly one of the warmest, most patient and kindest people. She listens with openness and is an amazing problem-solver. I left all of our calls and meetings with her feeling calm and free of stress -- she has an unique ability to quell those anxious feelings. The larger RBE team is equally fantastic and attentive, and I was especially thankful of their positive energy and quick actions on the day of which minimized the chaos. My husband and I are so appreciative that we could enjoy our day with minimal stress, as the entire RBE team managed every single detail of the day, especially those unexpected moments.
Truly, I cannot say enough good things about Rachel and her team. I already want to work with her again for our 10-year anniversary (joking, but only kind of).
I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Rachel Behar and her team are. I came to Rachel after my first planner ghosted me. I had my venue and caterer booked, both of which Rac...
hel knew well, which was helpful. Rachel's network of quality vendors is impressive. My now husband and I got engaged six months before our wedding date, and at no point did I ever feel that I was settling with a vendor due to lack of options. In addition, she and her team took on a lot of communication with my vendors on my behalf, lightening my load of things I needed to figure out for our wedding.
In addition to her amazing resources, Rachel and her team are extremely organized and provided a lot of structure (Google docs, 'one month to do's', etc) in the planning process. She and her team were also always available to answer any questions I had throughout the planning process, and were very helpful with their recommendations on items I needed to source for the wedding (via Etsy, Amazon, etc). There wasn't a question I had that Rachel didn't have an answer for.
Sadly, I lost my father to cancer two months before my wedding. Rachel and her team were the first ones to send flowers with their condolences, and Rachel reached out saying she was there for anything I needed- a break from planning, a 'to do' list to work on to serve as a welcomed distraction, anything. Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciated her support during such a trying time.
Lastly, Rachel and her team excel at taking on a challenge. In addition to our short timeline to plan, I wanted to have a Persian wedding- with it's own unique ceremony & traditions. Even though she had never planned a Persian wedding before, she and her team rose to the challenge, and she helped source wonderful vendors (even finding a Persian officiant all the was from Paris, France!) for our big day.
I can wholeheartedly say that our wedding day was as wonderful as it was because of Rachel Behar Events <3
Rachel Behar Events was the BEST decision we could have ever made for our wedding, hands down. We sincerely could not have done any of it without Rachel and her team. She helped wi...
th every single decision, from big to small, during the process by clearly laying out various options based on our budget and interests. We fully trusted her expertise in vendors and planning our special day based on her expertise in the industry. She also was so responsive to every little question that we had and was always there to help whenever we needed. Rachel is the kindest. It truly was so enjoyable and easy to work with her, plus she’s unbelievably organized and will always keep you on track. Our wedding was beyond what we could’ve ever imagined, from the flow of the day to the smaller details like stationery, lighting, and timeline of the night, and that is all thanks to Rachel and her team!!

nly did she make the planning process fun and easy, but from beginning to end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Everything came together flawlessly; our entire wedding day was so seamless! Upon walking into our venue, the vision we had worked on for a year had just come to life! With Rachel's guidance, she helped us pick all of our vendors, and they exceeded ALL our expectations!
Rachel is SO sweet and was such a calm and steady presence throughout our wedding day! She makes the process of planning a wedding enjoyable and relaxed and has some of the fastest email response times! Rachel is always all ears when wanting or needing anything throughout the planning process! Her guidance and knowledge on every aspect of the day provided such relief when making any significant decisions. We went into our wedding day with low stress, knowing she would take care of everything!
Every single thing on the night of our wedding was exemplary, thanks to the coordination, communication, planning, and knowledge from Rachel! We truly could not have done it without Rachel and her team - they are the best in the game!! I can not emphasize enough how grateful we are to Rachel for creating the most special day of our lives and something we will talk about for many years to come! We would do it all over again with RBE!!
Rachel and her team are a dream to work with. From sourcing the best vendors to making sure the day went seamlessly, we couldn't have asked for better partners on our big day. They...
stayed calm throughout the entire event and made sure we could stay present in celebration instead of having to deal with event logistics. If you're lucky enough to get Rachel and her team for your wedding, you will be in good hands!

derstood each task that needed to be done as well as making sure each deadline was met. Lizzie and the team provided great guidance and suggestions, while simultaneously executing my vision. Most importantly, everything on the wedding day itself was executed perfectly and Lizzie and her team were a very calming presence. My husband and I felt so special, and simply couldn't have done it without Lizzie and the whole RBE team by our sides. We highly recommend and will be sure to use them for any future event planning needs!

ill amazed by Rachel's ability to tackle so many moving pieces with such calm and grace. It was incredibly relieving to feel like Rachel was always one step ahead of us, 100% reliable, and always responsive. She also helped us source the best of the best in the industry and we loved having a mostly Brooklyn based team of vendors - everyone was so easy to work with and made the day so special.
Besides Rachel's calm disposition, kick ass organization, and unreal industry knowledge, what we appreciated the most was her advice giving/withholding. She completely let us do our thing unless we needed to be redirected and the moment we asked for advice she gave it firmly, which made us feel that much more confident in everything we were doing. Can't recommend Rachel and her team enough!
Rachel & her team truly are a dream team for anyone planning a big event. Our wedding weekend was everything we and our families wanted and more thanks to them. They make planning ...
a wedding seem easy (my friends regularly asked me how I was so calm about wedding planning and my answer consistently was Rachel). From our first conversation, I knew Rachel understood us and what we wanted most out of our weekend. Her team was well organized, communicative, clear, detail-oriented, but most importantly cool, calm and collected under pressure. We will DEFINITELY be working with RBE in the future and will not stop singing their praises to anyone who asks about wedding planning. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for helping us bring to life the wedding of our dreams and making the entire process feel easy.

tire RBE team are to work with. From the first day we started working with RBE everything was well organized, and all communication was clear and well detailed. I will definitely be working with RBE in the future, and cannot stop singing the praises of Rachel and her team whenever someone asks if I was stressed planning the wedding. Thank you so much for an incredible weekend, and overall wedding planning experience!!
How can I begin to talk about how incredible Rachel is?? From the minute we hired RBE, my husband and I (and our families) felt like we were in the best hands. The vendors she conn...
ected us with were all fantastic, and she was on board to help us realize our big, bold, colorful vision. We never felt stressed or anxious about ANYTHING, and I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day (8/26/23). Also - Rachel did a great job of managing all the big personalities in my family, and we're already trying to think of what our next big event will be so we can hire her and her team again.
I literally don’t know how anyone gets married without Rachel!!! From the very start of our planning process, she made everything feel so natural, fun, and seamless. Rachel was alw...
ays available to answer questions, provide an expert opinion when asked, and quell concerns, no matter how silly my questions felt sometimes! I trusted her implicitly from the beginning because of how honest, responsive, and genuine she always was. On our wedding day, Rachel and her team were unbelievable. They had the best energy that was both calm and fun - and they had TRULY any item you could ever ask for in a pinch (breath mint, scissors to cut a rogue string on a bridesmaids dress, etc). Everyone in our family and wedding party was beyond impressed and we had multiple comments about how amazing our planner was - Nick and I of course already knew how incredible Rachel was by then :) We absolutely LOVED working with Rachel and I am truly going to miss chatting with her all the time now that our wedding is over!! We could not recommend RBE more!
