About this vendor
Rachel Abi Photography captures beautiful, natural images of couples on their wedding day in Raleigh, NC, and surrounding areas. Using her charisma and light-hearted nature as a tool in her photography sessions, Rachel has couples feeling confident and beautiful in front of the camera and captures images that tell the story of the day.
Rachel’s outgoing personality is her biggest asset in the photography world. Having never met a person she didn’t want to befriend, Rachel seems more like a guest and long-time friend at a wedding than a stranger who has been brought in for the day. Rachel’s passion comes from the joy she sees on couples' faces when the final images are presented to them.
Capturing artistic, editorial images is Rachel’s specialty, and she achieves this through a combination of photography styles. Your journey with Rachel begins at your engagement shoot, so by the time the wedding rolls around, it’s just like a fun photo shoot with friends. Not missing a beat, she can work additional hours and can even arrange a second, equally fun, and friendly photographer for the day. The candid, natural images can be delivered in digital form, on canvas, in print, or in an album, so not only do you get a new friend out of the day, you get beautiful images to look back on for a lifetime.
This expertise is used in all the services offered by this Raleigh Wedding Photographer including: proposal, engagement, bridal, boudoir and wedding photography.

Rachel was an absolute gem, and just what we needed for our wedding! From start to finish, Rachel was transparent, communicative, vibrant, and a wonderful resource. She answered al...
l of our questions regarding wedding photography, was proactive and thoughtful before and during the event, and really engaged in capturing each special moment during our wedding ceremony and reception. She was very easy to work with for formal pictures as well as candids! Rachel and her second shooter, Gideon, were agile and flexible during our reception, when our catering timeline changed unexpectedly. They adapted to the new timeline and helped everything run smoothly. If we had to choose a wedding photographer 100 more times, we’d choose Rachel every single time. Rachel, thank you a million times over!

h will make the painstaking process of having hours of pictures taken (on your wedding day!!) fly by with laughter. Furthermore, she is extremely courteous; for example, lending me a jacket outside and helping us carry items from locations. Would 10/10 recommend and will be getting more couples photos by her in the future.
I contacted Rachel on line and from my first interaction with her, I knew she is who I wanted to photograph my wedding. And I was not wrong. I was married Dec 18, 2021. It was a...
small second wedding for us both. I still wanted memories of that day and she gave me those memories. She was easy to work with and a joy to be around. She suggested several shots and did some traditional wedding shots as per request. She was there for us to give us what we wanted. I loved that and she was great. You will love working with her.

I got great compliments about her and look forward to using her in the future. Look no further for a wedding photographer Rachel was the best!

Rachel is great at taking away any awkwardness and making you feel like her friend! That was always my worry when doing photography sessions (me feeling awkward) but she makes it easy to relax and laugh and actually enjoy having your pictures done! I highly recommend her and have greatly enjoyed every session she’s done but especially my wedding. She did an amazing job getting pictures of the wedding party and family and capturing the candid moments of us all getting ready, the ceremony and reception after!
