and how to use it. Rachael and her team were very professional and well prepared - she recommended a timeline and then worked with our coordinator to align photography and everything else. On the day of the wedding, she learned key people’s names and was great at wrangling the wedding party and families to ensure we got all of the photos we wanted, using a list of family photo combinations we had prepared with her. Between the engagement photo session and the wedding day, she instructed us on how to pose and where to look to get all the sought after wedding photos. She’s also a lot of fun to be around. One of our groomsmen had been a groomsman 18 times(!!) and said she was the best photographer he had seen. And most importantly, we love our photos! It’s going to be so hard to choose which ones to display.

Our engagement picture session was one of my favorite days ever, aside from our wedding day. My now-husband generally does not like taking pictures, but Rachael made us so comfortable in front of the camera which helped us practice for the actual wedding day. We also decided about 1 month prior to the wedding to take wedding party pictures at a venue that required a photography permit, Rachael communicated directly with the venue to get it all squared away. My family commented how great Rachael was with my nieces/flower girls who are ages 4 and 6, they literally listened to all of her directions and truly looked like they enjoyed themselves. We did an engagement shoot where we practiced a lot of the poses for the day of and she made sure we were always comfortable since I mentioned I’m not used to being in front of a camera.
