I cannot begin to imagine a world without Rachael! I met her through a friend who told me "Rachael was the best vendor she had for her wedding and I should lock her down" and she ...
was the first person we hired to work with before we had a venue, or even a wedding date and let me tell you- it was the BEST decision I made in my life aside from saying yes to my-now husband.
I don't have enough positive adjectives to express my sheer love of Rachael and her professionalism. She started working with us 15 months out when I started wedding planning, was available when I reached out seeking advice and gave her professional opinion and was able to help me navigate through a lot of decisions with ease.
About 2 months before the wedding she came over and took more off of our plate which was a huge relief. A month before she took over responding to our vendors and thought of all the things we didn't even know to ask. I didn't even know that as a bride I could be so well taken care of and Rachael truly made sure that I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING!!
We had a pretty big issue day-of on our wedding and Rachael handled EVERYTHING! She worked tirelessly to make sure that me, my husband, and our parents didn't see or feel any of the stress and just took on all of the problem solving. After-the-fact she made sure to follow up with the vendors, sorted out next steps, and allowed us to head to our honeymoon without having to worry.
I am still in awe of how INCREDIBLE she is!!! She is THE BEST PERSON YOU CAN EVER HIRE TO BE YOUR PLANNER/COORDINATOR!!!! PLEASE HIRE HER!!!!
I love Rachael with all my heart and want nothing more than for anyone getting married to have the experience of working with her because she will make your day the best day of your life! If I didn't just marry the love of my life, I'd probably marry her!
5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH STARS!!!! Rachael was recommended by a friend after her flawless event, and literally saved our event from a a major catastrophe. I can't say enough about h...
er!
First - although she was hired for day of planning, she was highly available to us from the start - providing invaluable recommendations for vendors, planning tips and advice and was generous with her resource list.
Next, as the event date approached she kicked into high gear. She worked with the bride on schedules for the rehearsal dinner and out of town guest party, the detailed day of wedding schedule, and was the point person for all things wedding related. She contacted every member of the wedding party the week of the event with detailed schedules and recommendations. She worked with every vendor to understand logistics, timing, and which vendor was covering which role. She was the first person at every event, and was the last person to leave the wedding. She was the first person to send me (mother of bride) a video she had taken on her phone of the first look. She was everywhere doing everything and yet we hardly knew she was there. She was just available to us every
time we had a question or needed a hanky, or a glass of water. We literally just showed up to the event as per the schedule and had no responsibilities other than to enjoy the day.
All of that was amazing and worth the 5 star review and her very reasonable charge, but that was just the floor of what she provided us.
Our caterer, who had not worked with Rachael previously, had a devastating personal event the week of the wedding. She didn't let us know, and thought she would be able to handle the event, but things were off the rails from the start. She didn't have help in unloading and required assistance - which Rachael found for her. The 13 staff members contracted to serve the event and tend bar failed to show. 45 minutes before the guests were to arrive, the rented dishes were in boxes, the bar was not set up (and there was no one to do it), and there was no one to turn over the ceremony room into the dining area during the cocktail hour. Rachael was able to rally the event space staff, including the DJ to help turn over the room, the space manager to set up the bar, and the security guard to act as bartender. She unwrapped the glassware for the bar, moved all of the dishes into the dining space, organized the bridal party to flip the room, set a model table that friends and family followed to set up the room, and still managed her own responsibilities, including moving 80 + family members outside for a family photo following the ceremony. Through all of this chaos, the bride, groom and their parents were unaware anything was amiss. We enjoyed the ceremony without a care, and were fully present for the wedding.
She then somehow found servers (including her friends, friends of the event staff and photographer, and other vendors hired for the event), and dinner was served. She literally created something from nothing!
She continued to manage the event, order extra pizza for the dancing hour (as the food was not presented as contracted for), ubered extra glassware as needed, and stayed to ensure everything was packed up and returned on time, and the space was clear.
Rachael later told us this was the worst failure she had ever managed, and yet the majority of the guests never knew anything was amiss. We all had the wedding we dreamed of. THANK YOU RACHAEL!!
Rachael was the Day of Coordinator for my sister's wedding in title, but in practice, she was an absolute angel. Before the wedding, we all received kind, warm, helpful timelines a...
nd communication (email and text). She introduced herself to everyone, remembered all of our names right away, was somehow everywhere when you needed her and also never obtrusive.
But the real magic came when the catering staff didn't show. We had food, but no one to turn the room from ceremony into dinner during cocktail hour, and no one to serve/bar tend. Rachel calmly told me (maid of honor) the situation after she had clearly made dozens of calls to get people on site through her network, and she and I assembled a team of people in the wedding party/close family to flip the room - without any of the parents, the bride, the groom, or most of the other wedding guests knowing anything was amiss. She bartended, she served food, she somehow managed to still be available during speeches to make sure everyone giving a toast had a drink - and she was calm, kind, and patient throughout. Seeing her work all of her behind the scenes magic was absolutely incredible, and I'd hire Rachael for any event or wedding I cared deeply about going right.
She stayed late to make sure everything went alright at the end of the night, helped my family understand how to proceed with the caterer post-wedding, and communicated with the venue and other vendors early the next morning - despite the incredibly late night for her.
Kind, resourceful, helpful, warm, and the IDEAL day-of teammate. Thank you so, so much Rachael.
Rachael was such a pleasure to work with! She was extremely organized, positive, thoughtful, proactive, and professional throughout the whole process. Not only was she attentive to...
us (bride & groom), she made the whole bridal party, family, and guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Our wedding would have not been the same without Rachael's constant support and guidance leading up to the day and throughout the whole wedding weekend.
Rachael was outstanding. So fun to work with, highly professional, and organized. She made planning a wedding fun!
Goddess with a clipboard, keeping our day on track, on time and sparkling from start to finish!

ommitted sooner and had her tremendous experience and insight from the start! Rachael had the best *practical* advice on both how to do the musts and what not to do or make smaller parts of our day.
She listens and gets to know you and your partner! She crafts the nuance of the day (down to the MINUTE btw) in ways that compliment your vision but also ways in which she knows loved ones come to expect! (And if you don’t have a vision/thoughts on how to approach this or that, TRUST she’ll have an idea and be ready to share it)! Rachael helped make our day the very best it could be, taking the worry around logistics off our plate. We never once had to think about what time it was or what was next and instead were left to just bask in the beauty of our love, loved ones, and a flawlessly executed agenda. 😊
Worth every penny is an understatement - Rachael goes above and beyond to make your day stress free and seamless. She is an absolute joy to work with. She is your organized right h...

We hired Rachael for her full service option and it was worth every penny! She helped us select vendors, review contracts, and demonstrated her experience by providing options that...
we didn't necessarily think of. Our wedding day went off without a hitch! Even when out of control issues arose, Rachael handled everything without us ever knowing. She kept our large wedding party on time and made sure we got all of our family photos (we had quite a long list!). Her extremely detailed timeline itself was a huge asset for our wedding party to have. We loved that everyone knew exactly where they needed to be at all times! We had so much fun planning our wedding with Rachael and can't reccomed Rachael enough!
Hiring Rachael will be one of the best decisions you make while wedding planning!!! She’s professional, hilarious, down to earth, and thinks of every single detail! She thought of ...
things I would’ve never thought of and managed our family dynamics so beautifully. Speaking to Rachael is like a breath of fresh air and I promise you’ll feel so relieved after every call. She’s got your back! The last few weeks before your wedding can be very stressful and Rachael was there managing every final detail and helping me stay stress free. She read through all our contracts diligently and called out things we didn’t even realize and had stellar recommendations when it came to selecting vendors. We interviewed 15 coordinators and out of all of them Rachael stood out to us because of how detail oriented she is and her ability to answer even the toughest of our questions. Once we started working with Rachael the level of support she gave us felt truly like a friend. I promise you hiring Rachael will be one of the best decisions you make!!
We used Rachael as our day of coordinator and I cannot imagine what the day would have been like without her tireless coordination of the many many people involved in that day incl...
uding both vendors and wedding party members.
She took time to understand our plan and desires for the day in advance of our wedding and really helped make all of our desired outcomes happen. Day of, she was present when needed and "invisible" when not. I felt fully able to hand over all of the logistics of the day to her so that I could fully enjoy it. As a bit of a project manager myself, I really needed someone I felt was fully capable of executing my plan so I could relax and have fun and Rachael completely exceeded my high expectations. No matter what happened day of, Rachael was two steps ahead.
I cannot recommend her enough!
We owe so much of our absolutely unforgettable wedding to Rachael's hard work, experience, organization, and dedication.
Before we started working with Rachael, we had worked out...
a lot of the big-picture items, but we were overwhelmed! Rachael hit the ground running, helping us zoom into the details and fit all of the pieces together - and filling in any gaps with awesome recommendations - to create a seamless work of art: our dream wedding.
It's clear that one of Rachael's top goals is to make sure you don't have to worry about a thing on your wedding day. She delivered. She made the space for us to take in every moment and handled any issues without us even knowing about them (still don't know if anything went awry). I wish I could give her 6 out of 5 stars.
Thank you, Rachael, for everything - the guidance, the memories, the laughter, and the sauvignon blanc. Drinks are on us when we see you next ;)
From the moment Rachael's day-of coordination timeline started at 8 weeks out, we knew we had made the right choice. We would sum up this feeling in one word: relief. All of our li...
ngering questions were answered. Rachael's experience, vast knowledge, and positive energy made us feel like we hit the jackpot. Looking back, we truly did. She was the key to making it the smoothest, most effortless day.
As we worked through the big picture and then all the way into the finer details of our wedding, Rachael made solid recommendations, jumping in to help at every turn. We'd ask "should we reach out to [enter vendor here] to ask [enter question here]?" or any other question we all have, and her response would usually be "I'll handle it." If she didn't take it on herself, she'd provide expert recommendations of how to approach whatever decision or conversation that we were approaching.
Thank you so much Rachael!!!!!
Racheal was a perfect match for my now husband and myself. She made the whole process of planning the wedding fun and manageable! We hired Rachael as the whole event planning and ...
day of coordinator. We had monthly meetings with specifically organized goals and "homework" that made this overwhelming process so manageable! She was available to answer all of our questions and concerns. All of her suggestions for our vendors were perfect and spot on with my vision for the day. She helped us create the most magical day for us! My friends and family told us that it was the best and most fun wedding they have ever attended! We had issues with the venue changing the rules of the game on us 3 days before the wedding for when we could go onsite for pictures. I was not worried one bit. I KNEW Rachael and our photographer, Alexis would come up with a good plan, and they did. On the day of the wedding, Racheal made sure things went as smoothly as they could. We did have some rain, which is never ideal, but there was a indoor side room with air conditioning people were able to access. Besides that glitch, we had the most amazing experience! We would never had been able to make this whole day for us so magical and wonderful without Rachael's guidance, support, and direction. When the day cam we could just focus on us, as a couple, and being present and take in all of the special moments of the ceremony and enjoy all of the love and happiness we surrounded with from our guests!
My sister hired Rachael as her wedding planner. I must admit that the wedding was GORGEOUS and PERFECT for the bride and groom. But for the family and guests, not so much. On the d...
ay of the wedding Rachael made several MAJOR mistakes. First of all she was condescending, rude and insulting to me and the guests.
I was allowed to be with my sister for approx 15 minutes before the wedding for a photo op of me “helping” her get dressed. Rachael then insinuated that I was SELFISH for wanting to know my role on the day of the wedding. Would there be food? Where was I supposed to be during the first look? Although my sister said I could watch from the side lines, Rachael stated that I should “Go to my room where I belonged since the “first look” was only for the bride and groom. Since I was to be dressed two hours before the wedding to “help” get her dressed, I was alone most of the day. Her interactions towards me were disrespectful, condescending, and rude.
Due to a lack of communication on Rachael’s part, family photos were taken during happy hour. They were rushed and stiff. It was like an assembly line instead of having fun with the bride and groom.
Immediately after the chaotic family pictures, Rachael told me "She was kicking me outside...with love from the bride." It was HOT, HUMID and at times RAINING! Plus there were no chairs. We had been told that in case of rain there would be an air conditioned place for guests to enjoy appetizers and drinks. That was definitely NOT the case. After about 45 minutes of standing, I was dripping sweat and my back and legs were killing me. Other older guests were struggling as well. A family friend went inside to gather some chairs. She was reprimanded like a small child and told “To get out!” When she told Rachael that there were senior citizens who needed to sit, Rachael proceeded to LOCK the doors into the venue and put up room dividing screens. Ironically that meant she locked out the help who needed access to transition the room from ceremony to dining.
After over an hour, we were finally allowed into the air conditioned space where guests were told to remain seated until their table was called to go to the buffet line. I again felt like we were in elementary school.
After the wedding, we returned to the bridal suite close to midnight. At that time we discovered that the bridal suite, which was the first door off the elevator, had been propped open ALL day! Rachael in her haste to whisk the bride away to the “first look” never un-propped the door or locked it! Another major mistake!
In summary: Rachael was an amazing help to my sister in the planning of the best wedding EVER. She was able to bring my sister's vision to life.
However, on the day of the wedding there were serious issues in communication, comfort and safety of the guests and family. Furthermore, there were issues with coordination and communication between the venue and hotel. Finally, leaving the bridal suite PROPPED open almost 12 hours is inexcusable!
Magically there was a double rainbow after the ceremony. We felt it was a sign from our deceased mother and father. Rachael however took credit for that as well. “What a great wedding planner I am. I even got a double rainbow”
If you are a bride and do not care about anyone but yourself, Rachael is your girl. If you care about the comfort and feelings of family and friends and the security of your room, I would consider someone else.
We ended up canceling and not using Rachael Steacy. Just an honest personal opinion- We felt like there was a lot of communication issues and delayed responses to emails.

ng, I cannot express how amazing it felt to have her guidance and expertise along the way—especially navigating wedding planning during COVID. She was meticulously organized and always quick to respond to any thoughts or questions I had. Plus, she has such a fun and bubbly personality which was the exact energy I needed to help get me through two postponements due to COVID. I cannot recommend Rachael enough, she’s the best!
Rachael was our day of coordinator for our January 2020 wedding in Chicago. Rachael was integral in helping us lock down every detail - little things like "what song do you want to...
walk back down the aisle to" or "what order will your family walk down" were things that even my type A personality overlooked. We hired Racheal because we wanted to make sure that I (the bride) didn't have to deal with a disaster or make one of my bridal party deal with a disaster on our big day. The day before our wedding, our officiant got stuck in a snowstorm in Colorado and wasn't going to be able to make it. Before I even knew it happened, Rachael had already found a new replacement for us. For anyone that thinks they can do everything themselves, I'm here to tell you that you cannot, and you need Rachael to help you!
Rachael is worth her weight in gold- I cannot endorse her more! She was so invaluable in helping us narrow down and recommend vendors, there are so many in this area and we were so...
happy with everyone she helped us choose. Planning a wedding in 10 months in the Chicago area, in a pandemic, could have been so stressful but Rachael was with us every step of the way, getting ahead of any potential issues and helping us plan a perfect day. We had a very unfortunate thing happen to our photographer less than 2 weeks out from our wedding and she handled everything and was able to get us new photographers who were amazing. The day of the wedding, everyone involved had a clear idea of what was expected, what the timeline was and still had a great time, all thanks to Rachael. She thinks of so many things that only come from her years of experience. I am a type-A planner at heart but really was able to enjoy our wedding day knowing Rachael had everything taken care of. The best of the best!

different ways, that I couldn't have been happier to have her help. Even with all the challenges presented by COVID, Rachael helped us navigate all the issues that popped up (some of which we only learned about after she had already fixed the problem). Rachael's also had amazing connections with different vendors that made our interactions with everyone very pleasant. Lastly, Rachael gave everyone involved in the wedding, from family to wedding party, extremely detailed and clear itineraries that made everyone feel ready for the big day. With all that being said, Rachael did more than I had expected, and I was incredibly impressed by her organization, her calm demeanor and her professionalism. I would recommend Rachael to any of my friends getting married in the future.

ze from 150 to 25 people, which involved contract changes, discussions with vendors, etc. There are so many little things I would have had no idea about, and she made sure all of them were checked off. I told my wife recently how amazing it was on the wedding day to not have to worry about ANYthing because I knew Rachael had it under control. She had such a positive attitude throughout the entire thing, and made sure we had a beautiful and memorable day.

h and not one detail was forgotten. She is a master of relationships; every vendor we met with spoke nothing but praise for her. She is a genius when it comes to keeping everyone (vendors, family, wedding party) organized, on schedule, and on time. She is an expert at budgets; she flawlessly took our vision and brought it to life in a way that fit our budget, personality, and circumstances. On top of years of professional expertise and wisdom, she is just plain FUN to work with. Rachael brings so much joy to every detail of the process. Hiring Rachael was like hiring my best friend to hang out with me and plan out the wedding of my dreams. She was always there to listen to ideas or concerns, and help us through any uncertainties. We had to re-plan our wedding three times due to COVID, and I honestly would have lost my mind without Rachael to walk us through it. She handled the difficult conversations with grace and professionalism, while keeping all relationships with our vendors positive despite a challenging situation. Everything ran flawlessly, and the day was filled with so much joy and love thanks to her organization. If you’re looking to take all the stress out of wedding planning, and someone you can trust to execute your vision so you can focus on the joy and fun of the day, Rachael is your girl.

Along the way, she continuously served as a sounding board for any and every little detail we needed help with. With every text, call, and meeting over bubbles, she made us feel more at ease, so we could focus on what mattered most--enjoying each other.
On our wedding day, Rachael went out of her way to make sure that we didn't have to worry about anything. She helped wrangle our families and make sure every detail was just as we wanted it. We also received countless comments from vendors on how lovely Rachael was to work with--both before the wedding and the day of. They all went out of their way to tell us that she was accommodating, courteous, and pleasant to be around. It's clear that Rachael shines notably in her field, and that her comforting, organized, and optimistic presence is not the norm.
We strongly recommend Rachael for anyone's wedding. She will put her heart and soul into every detail, because it's really clear that this is her passion!

rying to plan this pretty much herself, and we were in Texas, it was so welcoming that she found Rachael, trusted her from the start, and we knew we could count on her as well to keep our daughter calm, and help coordinate such an amazingly successful special weekend for them! The continual insight that Rachael provided was so much appreciated, and her Master Timeline helped tremendously.
It all came together so perfectly, like the fairy tale wedding our daughter dreamt about as a child. I know this doesn’t happen as seamlessly as it looks, and it takes thorough coordination with all the Vendors, great listening skills to understand desires, and the art of outstanding execution! It also takes a ton of flexibility to overcome obstacles that don’t come up until a week before the wedding… Rachael saw the issues & quickly solved the problem, helping our daughter to remain calm and make decisions, and we sure appreciated the discounts she was able to obtain for us!
Rachael went way above & beyond and we can’t thank her enough for all the great support to make this such an incredible and memorable weekend that we will treasure forever!!

d made our day with a LOT of moving parts operate without a hitch. The best part about having Rachael as our coordinator was that my husband, family, bridal party, and I all were able to really enjoy the day and take in each moment without worrying about what needed to happen when and who was in charge of what task. This made our wedding truly fun and enjoyable for all of us involved. Even our other vendors commented on how much easier Rachael made everything for them! If you want any sort of insurance that your day will be stress-free, hiring Rachael is the way to go.

Her attention to detail and the way to listens to every concern you might have is incredible!! 2 weeks before the wedding we realized we forgot to get linens!! I also through a curve ball by using marble tiles for escort cards instead of paper and she lined them up perfectly in the most precise rows ever!! Her wonderful bridal advice, calming personality, and her extensive emergency kit absolutely made my wedding!! I couldn’t have done this without her!!

Also, even if she is half way across the world she will still be there for you. When multiple issues arose within a week or two of the big day, as well as on the day of, she did not stray away from facing them head on and coming up with viable solutions. I do not believe there is anyone we would have rather had there with us on wedding day. She takes care of the hard parts of wedding planning with a friendly personality and a smile on her face!

erful. The final weeks leading up to the wedding would have be SO stressful without her. I am someone who has a hard time letting go of things and having someone else take charge, but Rachael's organization, follow up, and professionalism made it so easy. And she is so fun! I didn't worry about a thing the day of since I knew she had it covered. And she made all of our personal items - the card table, favor table, etc look so good!! She was such an integral part of our wedding and truly allowed us to enjoy our day worry free. Would hire again and recommend to all of my friends over and over (and my bridesmaid gave her name to her engaged sister she was so impressed with her that day!).
Rachel was super helpful and really great to work with. She treats you like a best friend, and really makes you feel important throughout the whole process. She also is someone who...
makes sure that other vendors fit you as the couple and not her vision, which is key. Day of the wedding, she was on point, and everything went super well. Definitely recommend.
I am a very type A, plan everything, and put in contingency plans for any possible hiccup person. With that being said, I had COMPLETE CONFIDENCE in Rachael; to top it off, she is ...
a riot and had me in some seriously great spirits throughout the entire pre-wedding process up and through my wedding day. Rachael is a straight shooter when it comes to planning and giving her best advice on how to smoothly run your day; further more she is a blood hound when it comes to finding Any hiccups in your vendor contracts as well as any missing components to your big day that you may have forgotten - a true blessing for all brides who think they have everything under control And brides who are completely overwhelmed by the planning process.
On my wedding day, she kept EVERYTHING organized, herded the groomsmen/bridesmaids/vendors as necessary with ease and a smile; she also put out several small fires that arose unexpectedly come reception time - Don't know what I would have done without her. Her presence, smiling the entire time, put my nerves to rest and allowed me to fully soak in each moment of my wedding without trouble shooting any wedding planning issues. I will also say I received many compliments from bridesmaids on Rachael's gentle, but confident ability to command a room. Overall, if you have the means to hire a day of coordinator I would 10 out of 10 times recommend Rachael - she is the woman for your wedding.

lid wedding timeline better than anyone else I spoke to. Her energy, passion and professionalism is like none other. Rachael was there to guide us through every step of the planning process. There was never a question too silly, a dream too big, or a moment where we felt like the planning was getting to be too much. Rachael's attention to detail, her quick thinking and ability to problem solve anything made for the most perfect wedding day ever. Her bubbly personality and beautiful smile greeted us and our guests and put us at such ease the day of our wedding. I never had one doubt that things would not be absolutely perfect thanks to Rachael. I can give her no higher recommendation than to say if there are any other events that I ever need planned, I only have one phone call to make! Rachael, we are so appreciative and could not love you more! From client and wedding coordinator, to great friends, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Xo, Lauren & Adam

Once the weekend began, I can honestly say that Rachael took charge. She handled each and every detail seamlessly and beautifully. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Rachael Steacy Events. Give her a call, I guarantee you will be glad you did.
On a personal note, in addition to knowing Rachael on a professional level, I’d like to think that we’ve also become friends. We look forward to celebrating with her in the future.

seat and I trusted her to take care of all of the details - which she did! Rachael had great recommendations for vendors when we asked for suggestions but never pushed her recommendations or opinions on me. I will truly miss working with her on a weekly basis!

g, and ensuring that the couples wishes are reflected before, during, and after the wedding date are second to none. We hired Rachael to be our "day-of" planner, however, she met with us several times months in advance of our wedding date. We knew that we made the right decision the first time we met with her, as she brought over several bottles of wine for our meeting (all of which were empty by the conclusion of our meeting). Rachael is a genuine good person, she looks out for you the entire time leading up to, and through, the big day. Our wedding had several vendors, all of which Rachael easily managed and coordinated in expert fashion, including settling any issues that arose prior to us even knowing about the problem in the first place. Hire Rachael. You will not regret it, and your day will go 1000x smoother because of her dedication and commitment to making your day the best day ever.
To say that Rachael Steacy was one of the most valuable assets to my wedding journey is an understatement. Rachael is one of the most genuine, positive, dependable, kind hearted, ...
fun, energetic, hardworking and truly the biggest ray of sunshine you will ever meet. It was a true honor and pleasure to have her as my full service wedding planner. Hiring Rachael was the best decision my husband and I made.
I knew that there was no way I could feel at ease during the wedding planning process as well as the big day itself, without a partner by my side to help guide me in the right direction. I needed someone who had my best interest at heart, someone who would put me first, someone to share their knowledge of the industry and provide guidance/support as final details were getting made, someone who would not only listen to me but hear me, someone I could trust to make my wedding dream come true; I needed Rachael Steacy.
Rachael was all hands on deck with one goal in mind; to help make my dream wedding come true within a budget. We worked up a budget and Rachael did the very best job at helping ensure that we were within the range. As we worked to find the perfect caterer along with the other vendors, Rachael compiled all contracts for my review so I understood exactly where my money was going. She always prioritized my best interest while providing the best support and guidance along the way. She was readily available to chat, incredibly dependable, creative, always reliable and most importantly trust worthy. Rachael was there to help assemble my invitations when I was dealing with a work emergency. We worked together on the place cards which were leaves pinned to 8 varieties of apples. When the weather turned out to be less desirable, Rachael had multiple back-up plans to ensure things would go smoothly. When the hotel would not allow my photographer to capture the first look on the roof, Rachael was there with her iPhone in hand. Rachael was ALWAYS there as my charismatic superman and glowing guardian angel.
Hiring a wedding planner is one of the biggest decisions you make and I am a firm believer that all couples need one. I promise you that having Rachael Steacy by your side will be the very best choice you make. Because of Rachael, I was able to be calm, stress free and enjoy the entire wedding day without a worry in sight. I was confidant in Rachael and knew that she had everything under control. Rachael always put my husband and I first; she was impeccably organized, exceptionally positive and upbeat, and worked her magic to make our wedding dream come true. Rachael gave invaluable advice and exceeded all expectations; she is one of the most remarkable people I have ever met. She has a heart of gold and I am a better person for having her along the wedding journey. My husband and I will forever be grateful that we found Rachael; it is because of her, that we had the most perfect wedding. Reach out to Rachael, meet her, hire her; you will not be disappointed!

ail. She is highly organized and made sure every "i" was dotted and every "t" crossed prior to the wedding day. She met with both families the week before the wedding and reviewed procedures and timelines, so there was no confusion. She was cheerful and pleasant to interact with and managed the bridal party, parents, family, and vendors w/a ease (and a firm, but respectful and pleasant demeanor so that everything went according to the plan). I will highly recommend Rachael to family, friends, and co-workers. My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was such a memorable and special night, and they never had to worry about a thing because Rachael thought of it and/or handled every detail, so all that was left to do was enjoy the night and make memories! Book Rachael, you won't regret it!

ns. Rachael is very organized, knows all the details of the wedding and reaches out to all the vendors so they all work together. She met with the families so we all know the timeline day of wedding, kept us all on track. As a meeting/event planner, I feel Rachael is the wedding planner you want to have beside you throughout the wedding process.

perience, has a massive list of to-dos that make sure nothing is missed, has great insights on ways to save & spend time so there are no awkward moments, is friends with half the vendors we chose, and was a joy to work with overall. She's one of the lucky people whose jobs is their actual dream job, and she loves every minute of making your day perfect!
In general we are pretty organized and like planning, however our main goal was for the day of the wedding to go as smoothly as possible and to make sure that we did not have to deal with any smaller issues throughout the day. The timeline Rachael set up was perfect, and her syncing up with all of the vendors in the few weeks before the wedding was key to ensure everything was on track & flowed perfectly. The connection you'll build with Rachel will last and we really feel like we've made a new friend -- she truly cares about making the day perfect for you and is upfront when you ask for opinions. We highly recommend and have already recommended to multiple friends!

lanner would add. Well, Rachael sure proved her value. When we needed a recommendation for a vendor hers were always the best, but she went above and beyond and helped secure the vendor after we selected them. Her calm confident manner throughout the process was reassuring and calming. She was always on time, always did what she promised to do and then some. She was never pushy and I felt like she always had our best interest at heart. At the 11th hour she stepped in and did things we needed help with like ordering and assembling the welcome bags, making the baskets to hold the bird seed and bubbles. She had someone else help out on our day of (Rachael had another wedding) and yet Rachael still stopped by during breaks with her other wedding...not once...twice. I have 2 more children. I would highly recommend her and hope to use her when our other children get married.
When I think back to our wedding day and all the crazy things that I wanted to do, there is one person who made sure that our day was all that we wanted it to be and that we could ...
enjoy every moment.
We hired Rachael to be our day-of coordinator, and right from the beginning, Rachael is extremely detail oriented. She made sure that everything was in order, helped us organize our ideas, and reminded us of things we forgot.
Our bridal party was extremely large, our church and reception were located about 45 minutes away from each other, and we wanted to take pictures downtown prior to our ceremony....scheduling this day was truly a logistical nightmare, but Rachael made all of this possible. She coordinated so many schedules and time restraints, she made sure everything ran on time, and helped us to relax and enjoy every moment of our day.
Rachael is also just an amazing person to be around. Her spirit and passion come out in everything she does; she makes you feel so important. People love being around her; she makes people that she just meets feel comfortable. She worked with so many different people for our wedding, and everyone raved about Rachael's professionalism, attention to detail, and her sparkling personality.
If you want your wedding day to run smoothly, even if it is a logistical nightmare, trust Rachael. Thank you will never be enough to Rachael for helping us have the wedding of our dreams! We are so grateful for you!

Rachael is truley passionate about her job and you can see that through the time, energy, details, and overall genuiness in her work. She felt like a member of our family by the end of our time with her and made everything go smoothly on the day of our wedding!
A few stories to portray how irreplaceable Rachael Steacy Events was on my sister's wedding day:
1) When my sister (The Bride) was in tears over her makeup trial one day before t...
he wedding, Rachael called a makeup artist she is friends with to help her better articulate the look she was going for. Above and beyond!
2) Rachael rode in the limo with us to the venue, and had a perfect playlist all ready to go!
3)I don't want to ruin any surprises, but Rachael took videos and pictures all day of special, quiet moments. Watching those videos is my favorite way to re-live the day. :-)
To sum her up, she brightens up a wedding day in ways you didn't even know you needed! Thank you, Rachael!

uring out first meeting, she asked us questions about details we hadn't even thought of. She created detailed schedules for parents and each member of the bridal party including lists of what they needed to bring/wear on the day of. The day ran so smoothly! Rachael is the best!

eing the most incredible (and stress-free!) day we could imagine. She went above and beyond the duties I expected from a day-of-coordinator. Apart from connecting with each of our vendors to ensure the day ran seamlessly and coming to the rescue with a creative solution when the wind started knocking over & shattering our flower arrangements, she also took so much care in small details that brought character and style to our wedding. Rachael brought her personal milk glass cake stands for our dessert display & put together an adorable and creative sign for our popcorn table. On top of being amazing at her job, her personality makes her an absolute joy to spend time with – She made every meeting feel like a true celebration (champagne included!). If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator, do yourself a favor and hire Rachael to work her magic!
