Amy is an expert photographer. She’s both great to work with and produces amazing work. She did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and created our save the dates. We would hire...
Pure Amour Photography again in a heartbeat.
I would never recommend Amy to anyone. I was incredibly disappointed by the very small number of photos that she took of my wedding and how low quality they were. Some of them coul...
d have been decent photos if Amy had just coached people a little (turn a little this way, tilt your head, etc.) She also did not listen to many requests I had made as far as making sure certain photos were taken. We are talking basic things like a photo of each table not like 30 different Pinterest ideas. The worst part of all is how she turned downright nasty after my wedding when I asked her questions. I was absolutely floored by this as we had gotten along great up to that point. I simply wanted to know if there were more photos she could share and she was very mean to me and continued to be incredibly rude and uncooperative. I was literally begging her and she only cited the contract...that my contract gave her artistic license to include or exclude any photos that she saw fit. Instead of working with me, her client, she was obstinate and unkind. She ended up sending me a disc with 10 additional photos, which is pretty poor for a wedding which I paid her for 14 hours of work. When I told her there had been a death in the family (in addition to this being my wedding day and wanted to have nice photos) and that I was wondering if she might be able to share just a few more photos of my wedding, she kept going back to the contract and saying she was not required to. Everything else about my wedding was perfect; I just wish we had picked another photographer.
Great to work with!
Amy Schrodt of Pure Amour Photography has a wonderful talent for photography. She catches moments that other people may miss and the posed photographs are extremely well done. She ...
was even helping us out with using an iPad and lacing up my dress before the wedding ceremony. She captured all the important moments. She managed to get people to listen to her instructions and other times she melted into the background to be unobstrusive to take photographs during dinner etc.
She truly has found her calling in photography and is also a really nice person to deal with.
I also had a boudoir session with her for a wedding gift for my groom. All I can say is amazing. He was blown away by the photographs.
We thoroughly recommend Pure Amour Photography and couldn't be any happier with the photographs and the service provided. A true professional with an amazing talent.
Amy is an amazing photographer, but beyond that, she instantly feels like a close friend who you would have invited to your wedding anyway. She is so easy to talk to and really ta...
kes the time to understand your vision. Then you're blown away by the moments she captured that you weren't even aware happened.
She was meant to do this, her eye never fails to grab the moments she knows you would want to see when you flip through your proofs. I laughed and teared up all over again as I was able to relieve our wedding day.
I can promise you won't be disappointed if you bring Amy into your wedding circle!
I seriously cannot say enough about Amy Schrodt. She has by far exceeded any hopes or dreams I may have had for my wedding photography & engagement photo shoot. I have received cou...
ntless compliments on the work she has done for us. Amy has an amazing knack for detail. She works hard to get to know her clients and their personal style, and it truly shines through in her photos. She made us feel so comfortable, everything went smoothly and effortlessly. Amy even posted our sneak peek the very next day!!!
I loved working with Amy from Pure Amour. From our first meeting, she was very professional, had all of her packages clearly outlined and was very easy to work with. We loved hav...
ing her as a part of the day and I know snapped a ton of pictures. She has a great photo style and very open to capturing the specific poses/shots we wanted. The sneak peeks that I have seen captured the day perfectly and I look forward to receiving the rest of our images. Her turn around time sounded like shorter than average to get the full set, all images are turned over to the couple with a written release. She offers photo prints, but doesn't push it on you. All images posted to protected, on-line gallery. Pricing was very reasonable and an amazing value for the quality. I don't think I could have been happier choosing someone else.
Amy is absolutely amazing! We could not be more thrilled with the work that she has done for us from the engagement pictures to the wedding. Amy is very talented, friendly, and tru...
ly a professional. She always made us feel at ease when taking pictures, when it is not always a natural feeling to have a camera staring back at you. On our wedding day, Amy felt like another member of the wedding party. She was so incredibly helpful with making sure that we stayed on schedule, and I don't think I could have got through the day without her! I received so many compliments from our guests about her, and it made me feel great to know others could see how great of a photographer she is! There is no question that I plan on using Amy for all of our future life moments. Amy is amazing and everyone reading this should contact her!
Amy was amazing. She was like having another bridesmaid the day of the wedding making sure I had water and that my dress was laying just so. She is very detailed oriented and get...
s shots quickly and efficiently. She did our family shots in record time (we both have huge extended families) and blended right into the background for the candid shots throughout the reception. I havent seen the pics yet but I'm sure they will be amazing as all of her sneakpeeks on facebook have been great! She does take a bit to respond to emails, but be patient, it just shows how hot and in demand she is!
Amy was such an amazing photographer to work with! She gave us everything we wanted in our package without any issue! She was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable a...
ll day. She was like a ghost--it was like she wasn't even there!!
Just a great persona and photographer!
Amy’s funky artistic style is exactly what we wanted for our wedding and our initial meeting with her was just confirmation that she was the photographer for us. She had some sche...
duling conflicts and was not able to meet with us to talk about our shot list before the wedding, but I just sent her the info via e-mail and that worked out fine. She did run into some traffic on the way to our wedding and was late getting there, which left us only 15 minutes before the ceremony to get all of the photos of me with my family and my Husband with his. Needless to say, we did not get the shots we wanted beforehand and it caused some stress for me not knowing if she would be there before the ceremony began. Amy did stay an hour later and is giving us a canvas wrap to make up for it. Also, the sneak peek photos she posted for us are just prefect and really breathtaking, so I am giving her an A, still because in the end, it’s the photos that will capture the day.
Amy is amazing. Very helpful, always available to answer questions, very accommodating to make a package work for your budget. Her personality fit in with mine and my husbands. Hig...
hly recommend her for wedding or any other photography service needed. Will be using here in the future for all photography needs.
Amy is wonderful. She is so reasonably priced and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. My husband and I used her for our engagement pictures and for our wedding pic...
tures and have been absolutely thrilled with how they've turned out. She managed to find every flattering angle and every great candid shot -- Amy is great but the best thing was that we never even noticed she was there. That sounds strange, but the last thing you want at your wedding is someone obviously following you and acting like a paparazzo. She edited each picture carefully and offered many options for color editing, she EVEN photoshopped in a tooth for my husband who was unfortunately missing one on the side of his mouth. I will cherish my photos forever and can't wait to use her again -- whether that's for boudoir photos or even future children! ;) Amy is wonderful. You will be choosing one of the best photographers around if you choose her.
