My husband and I found Promise Mountain while researching destination wedding and elopement ideas. We knew we wanted an “experience” and not just a traditional wedding. While searc...
hing, we had a few non-negotiable items on our list:
* We wanted a destination wedding. We live in San Diego, but we knew we wanted to travel.
* We wanted small and intimate, either an elopement or micro-wedding.
* We wanted to include the people we love most in this experience.
* We wanted to get married outside in nature.
* We wanted a talented photographer to capture our special day. Photography was a huge priority for us.
* Lastly (and maybe most importantly), we wanted to do very little planning. We wanted something all inclusive from booking hotels, photographer, venues.….everything.
All of these things (and more!) were made possible by the Promise Mountain team. My husband and I got married in Loen, Norway. We exchanged our vows on top of a snow covered mountain overlooking the Fjords. Our wedding experience was beyond anything I could have dreamed of…it was a fairytale.
From our first conversation, I felt an instant connection with Michaela. I knew she put her heart into Promise Mountain. She genuinely wants to share the beauty of the world with her clients, whether it’s Norway or Tennessee, and create a beautiful, personal experience for every couple. We knew we had to put our full faith and trust in whoever we chose to plan our wedding abroad and we trusted that Promise Mountain was the right choice for us. I trusted that her team and the people she chose to work with (vendors, hotels, etc.) shared her same vision and passion. She was organized and communicated with us every step of the way.
On our wedding day, Caroline, a talented team member, officiated our ceremony. It was tailored to our beliefs and values. Michaela and Caroline, both incredibly talented photographers, beautifully captured every sweet moment from our day.
Every experience we had exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommended Promise Mountain enough. We wanted something extraordinary and that’s what we got. We can’t wait to renew our vows a few years from now and work with Promise mountain again.
We imagined a beautiful, memorable, and STRESS FREE wedding and the Promise Mountain team delivered that and more. My husband and I will never be able to fully express our gratitud...
e to Promise Mountain for their attention to detail and planning that allowed us the space to fully enjoy the wedding of our dreams. While we got married in Norway on the top of a mountain, Promise Mountain offers more than just adventure elopement packages. In addition to their expertise in planning and officiating, their photography skills are OFF THE CHARTS. Everyone commented endlessly how the photos belong in a magazine. Michaela and Caroline helped ease our worries of being awkwardly posed in front of the camera and allowed us to be ourselves, which truly shines in each photograph.
To say that Promise Mountain gave us everything we ever wanted for our wedding would be an understatement. They went above and beyond in every aspect and we can not recommend them highly enough. Seriously! The wedding adventure of a lifetime!
Have you ever seen yourself in a picture and just wonder how someone could capture a feeling? I definitely have! Michaela captured many sweet, romantic, intimate to my hubby and I ...
moments! Where I just look at the pictures from our engagement session & wedding and I'm brought right back to the wonderful feelings of those moments. I cannot recommend her enough! To this day I cherish the memories captured.
Professional, warm, and was quick and skilled and capture even the most little-seen moments. Something that maybe I would have forgotten it's now preserved forever. So thankful!
I am SUCH a fan of Promise Mountain and their team! Having first hand experience with their concept and thoughtful professionalism, this is a service I can truly recommend. Every d...
etail is planned out, and it’s so obvious that everything is done with such care and a deep understanding for the location, the experience and the adventure. If you’re looking for a unique and personal experience with none of the planning, this is absolutely worth the investment!
