About this vendor
You can hire The Chantal Dance Entertainment Experience for your wedding reception! Based in Mount Vernon, NY, Chantal specializes in the elegant, magical art of Belly Dance and is a performer and instructor who is happy to travel throughout the New York tri-state area and beyond.
Each dance piece carries a meaning: using her specialty in balancing gorgeous, bejeweled, lit candle trays, Chantal calls forth a meaningful wedding tradition of the dancer, illuminating and purifying the path and the future of the couple! The beautiful dance wings used carry a love story legend associated with them. The cane dance comes from a venerated ancient martial art.
Break the ice! Chantal can make your event sizzle, have your guests and audience feel alive while all celebrating together, and inspire them to really have fun and celebrate life!
Thanks to her Egyptian roots and French education, Chantal speaks several different languages and has always maintained a profound passion for dance. After thirteen years studying at the Lycée Français school, Chantal knows and appreciates all cultures and forms of dance. She aims to bring joy, celebration, and connection to you and your loved ones through her Professional Belly Dance Entertainment business.
Middle Eastern, ballet, contemporary, theatrical, and jazz dance forms are on the menu at Professional Belly Dance Entertainment. You can meet with Chantal to discuss the music selection, props, costuming, and dance style for your big day. Professional Belly Dance Entertainment will wow your guests and leave them talking for many years to come.

d by the warmth and charm of her performance. Even my dog kept following her as she moved across the room!
She was also very professional, bringing a lot of care and attention to detail as we planned the logistics of the event. Before she started the performance, she sensed that some of the guests were on the conservative side, so she told me that she’d wear a scarf so she wouldn’t show too much skin. This did not in any way affect the beauty of the performance or her appearance. I was touched by her sensitivity, and those conservative guests were completely won over by the end of the show. Everyone’s been talking about it ever since! Highly recommended.
