Food was fantastic and much more reasonably priced than other vendors we looked at. We did buffet style and our venue did not have a kitchen, so we were a bit nervous at first, but...
everything went off without a hitch. They got the entire group of 170+ people through the line and eating at their seats in less time than it usually takes to get the bread basket at most weddings. The food was incredible, our only regret was that we didn't get to eat more since we had to go cut the cake, greet our guests, and do other "just married" things!
We booked with PrimOvations as they were the preferred vendor for our venue. When we initially booked, we had communicated with the event coordinator, Emilee (spelling?) and our ex...
perience was average. Emilee was very kind, typically responded to any email within 24 hours or 1-2 business days if it was a weekend. So I would say it was fine. We had booked several of our vendors pretty far in advance to ensure we secured them, so naturally some minor things such as color/theme/etc. had changed a few times. I made sure to always communicate this as soon as possible to any of our vendors. Emilee left the company a few months after we booked, so we worked with Shelly (Owner) for the last year. Emilee had not made an adjustment to our original quote/plan before she left the business, so I communicated this to Shelly. First and foremost, the communication after Emilee had left went downhill drastically. As a bride, you're quite frankly panicking about almost everything and I'm someone that preferred to communicate things as they came up ASAP to avoid any issues down the road. I reached out to Shelly several times inquiring about the adjustment to our quote, and when she finally got back to me (several months later), it was still not correct. This continued up until about 2-3 months before the day of. When it came to the food, I would say it was pretty standard wedding food. Not great, but not bad either. None of our guests complained that we were aware of, but we didn't get any raving reviews all the same. If I had known what I know now, I probably would have gone a different route, but thankfully nothing went awry and dinner was just a part of the night that came and went.
PrimOvations was phenomenal. They did a wonderful job catering our wedding. They were easy to work with, are wonderful people, and the food was excellent. So many people compliment...
ed the food and truly I don't have enough positive things to say about them. We did hickory roasted striploin and balsamic glazed chicken along with salads, apps, veggies and potatoes in a served buffet. Everything was delicious and we are so glad we went with them. The chicken was SO good - when is buffet chicken breast that good? PrimOvation's was!!! They went over the top to be accommodating for us and working with our venue and were highly recommended by our venue. They are extremely good at what they do! Excellent people, excellent company, excellent food!
PrimOvations Catering did such a fantastic job on our food options for our wedding. Emilee was such a dear to work with during our planning. I am so thankful for them for catering ...

splays were beautiful! Pat and Emilee worked with me throughout the entire planning process and were very receptive to my ideas. They were also very communicative and easy to get a hold of when I had questions during the process. I would recommend PrimOvations to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding day caterer!

nu thatwe wanted for our wedding day. They put an amazing appetizer display out that we received rave reviews about as well as the wonderful and delicious dinner, and desert table that was prepared. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them for any event. We will be a customer for life! Thank you Shelly, Patrick, and your entire team. It was seamless, it was tasty and it was class! Bravo
everyone raved about our food, they did a great job. I wish I had stashed food somewhere to take back to the hotel for later!

Great food!
I spoke to the woman with the catering company once, telling her about our event, and gave a brief overview of what I was looking for and she said she would call me back in a coupl...
e days. The following week, after not hearing from her, I called her again. In a very detailed conversation (in which she was slightly rude a few times), I told her our catering needs and she said she would put together a quote and send it to me. This was two weeks ago and I've never heard back or received a quote.... If you're looking for quality, responsive customer service, I would look elsewhere.
Very good food, I can't count the compliments we had on the food! Overall, easy to work with. Not always timely returning emails (no problems with calls) while we were months bef...
ore the wedding, though to be fair I was not always timely on my end either. No issues with communication during the weeks before the wedding, and I had no worries or stress while working with them at all. Great food, can't say that enough, and very reasonable pricing. Professional and personable. Very happy with them.
I found PrimOvations at a bridal show and tried their cranberry bbq meatballs and I was sold. Not only was the food fantastic, but so was the staff. The staff was extremely perso...
