My husband and I tied the knot here on 5/25/24. We absolutely would recommend Prima Vista to anyone looking for a hill country wedding with a modern vibe. Ellen and David were wond...
erful throughout the whole process. Their "Almost all-inclusive package" just about takes care of most of the major parts of planning. I'm so glad we chose Prima Vista!
Prima Vista is such a beautiful venue! Ellen was a pleasure to work with! They had a great supply closet couples can use for their nuptuals and there are a plethora of beautiful sp...
ots for photos. There are built in rain contingency areas and they decorate beautifully. I really only brought in table coverings in terms of decor. Highly recommend!
David and Ellen were our lifesavers last year when our previous wedding venue cancelled on us 6 months before our wedding!!! As you can imagine emotions were running high and every...
thing seemed like it was falling apart. However, that feeling quickly changed when we laid eyes on Prima Vista and talked to Ellen and David. They were super helpful along the whole way and we at the end of the day our wedding truly an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a sign to have your wedding here, then this is it.
We had the most incredible experience with John & Ellen at Prima Vista for our wedding. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we knew it was the perfect place for our spe...
cial day. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Their attention to detail and professionalism made all the difference. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with. Highly recommend
This property is such a gem and we are so glad we had our wedding here this past November . From the moment we scheduled to our initial visit and open house to when we said I do, E...
llen, David and their staff made sure to go above and beyond to make our wedding experience so magical and memorable. Any question we had throughout the process was answered promptly including suggestions and things we didn’t even think of yet.
The venue layout was such a dream and made for a seamless ceremony, cocktail hour and reception experience. You can choose between the deck or their covered pavilion for your cocktail hour, and you can choose to have your ceremony indoors or outdoors based on the weather or your preference! It was also so nice having Ellen and David be there on the day of, including a quick rehearsal to make sure we were ready for the big day. Everything just seemed to flow so easily and we are so thrilled how everything turned out. Would highly recommend!
I cannot say enough positive things about Ellen and David and Prima Vista as a whole! From the first visit to the wedding day, it was always smooth communication, organization, and...
just pure joy. Any time I had a random question, I got a response. The “almost all-inclusive package” they offer was 1000% worth it and alleviated a lot of stress on my end with the vendor searching. They truly care about each couple and making their day special, and you feel it every step of the way. The venue itself is stunning and is the perfect balance of hill country beauty with mid century modern interior. I truly couldn’t imagine having our day anywhere else. THANK YOU, Ellen and David, from the bottom of my heart for making our day so incredible.
Having our wedding here was easily the best decision we made. The venue is amazing and so well kept. What truly makes this place amazing though, is David & Ellen. They truly care a...
bout their couples and go out of their way to make sure your special day is perfect. They were with us every step of the way! We absolutely loved them and this venue. Everything was absolutely perfect.
This review is long overdue and I thought I had written one, but I must do another just in the off chance it did not go through. David and Ellen are the calm in the storm of what i...
s wedding planning. I actually met Ellen via FaceTime as I was in the process of relocating back to TX and booked the venue prior to even seeing it in person. If that does not speak to the level of care, efficiency, and professionalism they exude, well I am not sure what would! Ellen was a great help along the way, checking in with deadlines and ensuring I had everything I needed. She worked with our vendors so well and made everything for Alex and I easy, breezy, and stress free. My family was extremely complimentary of the space due to paved walkways, the indoor/outdoor options, and the beautiful space-- even with minimal decor. It had stormed HARD the night and morning of our wedding, but I literally was not at all worried knowing Prima Vista offers and indoor option-- which quite frankly was a major plus when booking them. We are so grateful to you both and will have such fond memories of Prima Vista through the rest of our lives.
Josh and I were immediately in love with the look of Prima Vista. The only downfall was how far it was from our place in Georgetown. However, after speaking with Ellen and David we...
knew we had to book. They were our third venue to look at and we could tell how genuine they were and how well we would be taken care of.
Everything was always a phone call, email or text away. Our day ran so smoothly thanks to Ellen and Cecily.
Lastly, it’s so nice to have a place that isn’t a barn. It was modern, beautiful, and perfect.
We had about 75 people and it was the perfect venue.
Thank y’all for our perfect day!

and kept everything running smoothly the entire planning process and wedding day. They offered support and advice at every turn. We had so many guests tell us how perfect the venue was after the wedding. We agree!
Prima Vista is the only venue to consider. It’s beautiful. Lots of space. The view is fabulous!!
But the best part was David and Ellen I think they were more excited about...

me out for visits. Ellens background allowed us to seamlessly plan our wedding. Our guests raved about how beautiful and unique the venue was. We also loved having three locations for the ceremony. Our guests utilized every space at the venue, especially the patio. So happy with our choice of venue.
I just got married there last week and the owners made the process very easy!
There was always open communication. They really made sure it was an easy, smooth, and happy day !

ile to make sure everything goes according to plan. For the months leading up to my wedding I was constantly bothering them with questions but they were always quick to respond with plenty of details!
This venue has so much more than other venues I toured!! Prima Vista has packages to set up all tables, linens, and even some decor (which they have a bunch of decor to borrow so you do not have to pack everything) and they were super helpful in finding me all my vendors. This makes such a big difference when you are trying to plan the wedding yourself and is probably the only reason I did not need a wedding planner! But the venue also comes with a day-of coordinator which I have not seen offered by any other venues and was much appreciated!
Additionally, the venue's coordinator Cecily is organized and extremely helpful the day of. She was on top of all the vendors and schedule for the wedding, making sure every guest was aware and ready for each little event during the wedding.
My husband and I got so many compliments for picking this venue because the land is gorgeous and they have a separate ceremony site, cocktail pavillion, reception hall, and deck! This allowed the guests to walk around and explore but everything is side by side so even though its large the whole night felt very intimate. Also the Bridal and Groom suites are the best I have seen! plenty of room to get ready and the grooms even have a place to play pool while they wait - which they loved!
I with I could give 10 stars because this venue was the best choice my husband and I made for our wedding!
Where to begin! Prima Vista is just stunning! We loved everything that was included with this venue including the “Brides Borrowed” closet! David and Ellen the owners of Prima Vi...

with you step by step and make sure you get everything you want to make your wedding day special. We’re so thankful to of found such a beautiful and inviting venue. The package deals are totally worth it, so that you don’t have to stress to find your own DJ or Caterer. We highly recommend at least giving the venue a tour because you definitely won’t regret it.

ve and personable communication (I'll miss communicating with them!). The borrow closet was an added bonus! We toured a few venues before choosing Prima Vista and clearly couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend.

o help walk us through it all. Our original date was Oct 24th but we ended up pushing the date back to May 8th 2021. Ellen and David helped every step of the way. If you are looking for the perfect hill country venue then you’ve just found the perfect place. Beautiful venue, and amazing owners!! You can’t go wrong with Prima Vista.
Prima Vista is a gorgeous venue that beautifully blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. From the ceremony grounds to the happy hour pavilion, to the reception ballroom and...
deck, each space has been thoughtfully curated to enhance the natural beauty while providing state-of-the-art amenities.
The atmosphere alone is enough to merit recommendation, but the real joy comes from working with venue owners, Ellen and David. They act as generous hosts, rather than mere renters of space, and pour extreme care into every last detail. I utilized their all-inclusive package option and could not have been more pleased. They are supportive without being overwhelming, and make sure your day goes off without a hitch.
Cannot recommend this lovely venue enough!

lutely see the vision and we were even more excited about Prima Vista because Ellen and David are a dream team. They made our experience so amazing. I 100% recommended this venue for any event, but especially a wedding. It’s so charming and perfect for an intimate and romantic wedding day.
Ellen and her husband David are wonderful! Ellen even serves as the day of coordinator and made sure everything went smoothly! The venue itself is a gorgeous hill country setting, ...
with a mid century modern twist. Highly recommend!

utely beautiful! I told my husband when we first got engaged I did NOT want a traditional wedding venue with 4 walls. With having the patio and floor to ceiling windows it allowed so much natural light and I was completely happy. My guest also was very impressed with the venue and the decor. We are completely satisfied and thankful for our experience with Prima Vista!
Prima Vista was a beautiful venue. Seriously, absolutely beautiful. We actually just got our photos and the sunset there is simply breathtaking. They were willing to work with us a...
nd the budget that we were trying to set for the wedding. They were super hospitable and easy to communicate with. The venue itself was so well put-together that we didn't really need to focus on decorations (I am a lower maintenance bride according to my married bridesmaids). The venue also had its own generator in case of emergency. We held the ceremony in the open outdoor area, but there was another area outdoors under an awning we could've used in case of inclement weather. The bride and groom suites were just well decorated and equipped. The groom's suite even had a pool table, which I believe the boy enjoyed. Ellen was extremely helpful for our rehearsal and also our wedding day. She was our go-to person for the day of and as a bride, it was awesome not having to worry about anything.
My one major critique would be that the sound system at the venue was a bit weak. They only had one speaker that was "portable," but it was difficult to hear the songs during the wedding ceremony. Even during our reception, it was not as loud as I had wanted it. In addition, there wasn't someone who really helped us out with the sound, which was a slight bummer.
Overall, my experience with Prima Vista was an amazing one. I would highly recommend this place!

antially easier. On the day of the wedding she was very organized and everything went according to plan. Glad I chose Prima Vista!
This venue is sooo beautiful! When I saw it, I was so surprised! It is in Wimberly, Texas (a charming town in the Texas Hill Country). The reason I was so surprised is because ...
it's very modern and elegant, yet is set in nature....surrounded by large, mature trees. This makes for a truly unique setting for a venue. Though the interior is striking....My favorite part of the evening was staring up into the night sky full of twinkling stars. It was magical! While most everyone was inside dancing....I was blessed to stand outside with thousands of stars shining down on me, while listening to great music and laughter from inside. It made for truly memorable night. I have already begun working to convince my husband that we need to celebrate our 20th anniversary by renewing our vows at romantic Prima Vista!
What a beautiful place! Nestled in a gorgeous Hill Country setting. We went to an event with about 50 people. Very roomy and accommodating inside and lots of space outside. The own...

My Lady and I attended a music event a Prima Vista celebrating he daughters engagement. We really enjoyed the modern design nestled in the beauty of the hill country we took note ...
of all the luxuries and conveniences of the city in this immaculate venue. Watching a wonderful sunset from their huge deck, my Lady laid her head on my shoulder and whispered, “This is exactly the venue that my daughter is dreaming of, I’m bringing her here tomorrow!”
We had a awesome evening at Prima Vista, the best! Her daughter? After seeing our pics, didn’t hesitate and we set an appointment with the very charming and helpful owners. To Dave, Ellen and Dalton, thank you for being so kind to her at that meeting! One big thing off the list!

ember who does what and who you need to talk to. Even if that specific person is not around, they can easily relay and implement.
Having Ellen on your side with vendor handling and specifics is a huge plus; since she is the property manager she can make decisions without any back and forth with a separate venue person.
This is a new venue, and it doesn't open to the public until May, so we haven't had our wedding yet, but with all the services included, the kindness and professionalism we've expe...
rienced so far, plus the fact that it's in the Hill Country not too far from Austin, it's a fantastic value! They have their own day-of coordinator, so you don't have to stress about finding and paying for your own like you do with most other venues, they include set up and break down of chairs and tables, and they have their own linens. You're also allowed to bring in outside vendors for no extra fee as long as you let them know ahead of time, which I think is great! I've already had so much help from Ellen (our day-of coordinator), and I really appreciate it. If you're looking for a venue that's a great value and more affordable than many other venues in the area, especially for what's included, I'd recommend trying out Prima Vista! :)
