My husband and I had a great experience working with Keshia one month out from our wedding. She was always ready to answer questions and helped our vision for our day come to life ...
so beautifully. We are still getting so much love and compliments from guests on how amazing they thought our wedding was and Keshia played a huge role in that. Even on the day of one of my bridesmaids had a dress emergency, and Keshia ensured she had the right dress to wear for the ceremony. We are so grateful to her for all her hard work!
For any bride or mother of the bride involved in planning a wedding, having a wedding coordinator ensures that you and your family can be fully present and enjoy every moment. Choo...
sing Pride in Planning was, without a doubt, the best decision we made for our daughter’s wedding. Dr. Keshia Pride’s experience and calm demeanor created a stress-free atmosphere that made the entire process enjoyable and smooth. The weekly calls 30 days out were especially helpful to make sure we were on track for a successful wedding day experience. During these calls, she made recommendations on how to best incorporate various experiences into the ceremony and reception from a timing and flow perspective. This took a huge weight off our shoulders.
The morning of the wedding, my daughter texted in a panic—one bridesmaid had the wrong color dress. Her girls flew to the wedding from various places across the country and somehow a mishap occurred with the dress color with one of the bridesmaids. She contacted Keshia who immediately acted, sending her team to handle set-up while she went to the nearest David’s Bridal – one hour from the wedding venue. The store opened at 10:30 and the wedding was at 2:00 pm. She found a dress that was close enough and was able to get back to the venue in time for the photos which started at 1 pm. This was truly above and beyond the call of duty! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with her. Her attention to detail and dedication gave us true peace of mind, allowing us to focus on celebrating. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator who is experienced, dependable, personable, and willing to go the extra mile, I highly recommend Pride in Planning.
Signed,
One Happy Mother of the Bride!
We had the pleasure of working with Keshia as our wedding coordinator, and we could not be more grateful for her expertise and care throughout the entire process. Our intimate cere...
mony at the DC War Memorial in early May and our reception at Madigan’s Waterfront later that month were both absolutely beautiful — a true reflection of our vision brought to life.
From the very beginning, Keshia demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail. She took the time to understand our preferences and priorities, ensuring that every aspect of our celebration felt personal and intentional. When our venue made suggestions that didn’t align with what we wanted, Keshia graciously and confidently advocated on our behalf, making sure our voices were heard and respected.
Her calm presence, clear communication, and genuine warmth made the planning process feel effortless. On the day of each event, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the moment, knowing that Keshia had every detail handled with precision and care.
Both our ceremony and reception exceeded our expectations, and we truly believe that wouldn’t have been possible without Keshia’s guidance and dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple seeking a coordinator who is not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to making your day everything you’ve dreamed of.
We Found PNP at a bridal show and so grateful that we did! Keshia was wonderful to work with. She and her team were organized, very communicative and professional. They checked in ...
with us often and kept us on track with planning. We had the month of coordination package but they still checked in with us frequently before the month kicked in to help us focus on the proper tasks. Keshia was reassuring and calming through all wedding stresses. Our day ran smoothly and our family and friends are still raving about our special day. I'd recommend Pride in Planning to anyone planning a special event, especially a wedding.
I am so thankful we hired Keshia! Although we initially only booked day of coordinator services, she went above and beyond her duties and was always available for any questions we ...
had. She put my husband and I at ease during our wedding day when an issue (out of her control) occurred and was able to work around it. We also rented decor from her, and the way she decorated made the venue space even more beautiful than we imagined. We would definitely recommend her for any event planning services and hope to work with her again in the future!

Keshia was an invaluable member of our team leading up to our wedding in November 2024 at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Even though we hired her as a month-of coordinator, she was ...
a partner for us throughout the whole planning process. Her company also rented out linens and decorations to us at fair rates, and everything looked outstanding on our big day.
Our day went off without a hitch, and we couldn't have done it without Keshia's attention to detail in our planning sessions with the venue as well as our regular touch-bases in the lead up to our wedding day. Her depth of experience helped us ask questions we wouldn't have been able to think of ourselves, and she helped us feel completely at ease throughout the planning process.
Keshia and her team executed perfectly at our rehearsal and on our wedding day. We can't thank Keshia enough for all of her hard work, her communication with us and our vendors, and her team.

We loved having access to her decor warehouse as well, it was a great help for planning and budgeting. Also, she has a great network of vendors she recommended for all of our ideas during the planning process. We appreciate having her on our team and not sure how we would have gotten through the wedding planning process without her.

o have had Keshia as our coordinator because she gave sound advice and was a huge help during the planning process. She also had some great vendor recommendations that we ended up using. The part where we felt that Keshia and her team went truly above and beyond was in the setup of our day, especially in regards to setting up the floral arrangements. We were so grateful for her care and expertise.

ever, along with one of the best planning teams to keep it all together. From a collaborative email a few weeks prior to a final outline a few days before to being everywhere needed the day of, Keshia ran an incredibly smooth & stunning event. She oversaw the entire day's operations efficiently, professionally, & in a friendly, approachable manner. Keshia was everywhere with everything ~ items, questions, answers, directions, & suggestions. s to review the timeline and it was very helpful, identifying things we hadn’t considered and giving suggestions for timing that proved so helpful on the day. When we had a snafu with our venue the day before the wedding, she worked extra hard to make sure that everything went smoothly and her efforts were so appreciated. During the wedding she kept everything on schedule but still checked in with me to make sure that I was enjoying the pace of the day. She even taught my husband and I how to cut the cake! She’s a great choice.
Keshia and her time provided superior service and were a pleasure to work with!

we hadn’t even thought of! As we rolled into the month of she helped us define our timeline and helped ease the last minute stress by handling communication with other vendors. We had no clue how to run a ceremony but Keshia guided us every step of the way during the rehearsal.
For the actual day of Keshia and her team did a wonderful job setting up our decor without any direction from us and it looked great. She anticipated all of our needs, I’d be about to ask someone for help and she would pop up ready to lend a hand. We had about 5 people attempt my bustle and finally Keshia was able to - without her I was worried I wouldn’t be able to dance and move but she saved me!
If you are looking for an efficient, detail oriented planner with an amazing team then look no further! She played a pivotal role in ensuring our day went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams without her. Thank you to the Pride in Planning team!

ommend her for everything. She kept us calm the month of our wedding, helped us keep on track of tasks, helped to point out all of the tiny things we hadn’t thought about, and communicated with our vendors for us. She helped us with all our wedding signage, had it printed for us, and helped us complete our wedding favors. She was worth her weight in gold. Pride in Planning was also reasonably priced so we felt like we could get the help we needed without adding too much to our budget. Hire her, you will not regret it.

. I found the Pride in Planning team on Thumbtack, and Keshia was responsive off the bat. We had a few meetings leading up to our date, and they helped us develop a timeline. She coordinated everything with the vendors, which made me feel a lot more relaxed. I also appreciated her attention towards our ceremony - we weren't sure if we were going to be able to pull of our planned ceremony outdoors, but she helped us design a plan that still felt special event indoors. I'd definitely recommend Pride in Planning.
