About this vendor
When I cover a wedding, my aim is not only to document your special day, but also to leave you with a powerful art piece in the form of the short film celebrating your unique and beautiful love story. Many other wedding videographers are preoccupied with cranking out as many wedding videos as possible, treating your wedding like a product in an assembly line. Once filming is complete, some will even ship your footage off to a third-party editor and never look at your wedding again.
During the post-production process at my company, each film is handled with care, from finding the perfect soundtrack for your film, to capturing the most heart-felt moments during the ceremony, all while honoring your input along the way. We pride ourselves on being able to tailor each project to match the personalities of our couples, and to convey the atmosphere of the day from the sweeping scenery to the smallest details, while incorporating all of the people dearest to you in the final cut.

Preston truly is an artist and a professional. He recently filmed my wedding, and we are so happy with everything from start to final video. Preston was easy to work with and kno...
ws what he is doing. After seeing the final video, I would have thought there were multiple videographers, but it is just Preston being amazing at what he does, and he knows what was needed to do to make our wedding last forever. I wish I could give Preston more than 5 stars, as there is nobody that compares, and I hope you know that using Preston was one of the best decisions we made.
COVID forced us to change our wedding plans from a 150+ person party in Boulder to an intimate wedding of about 25 people in Durango, so my now-husband and I wanted to be able to d...
ocument our day with a videographer. Preston was a great find for us. He was responsive and flexible in planning, especially given the relatively short notice that we were able to give him about our actual wedding plans. Since we aren't from the Durango area, he was able to give numerous ideas for places that we could take photos and film between our starting point and our ceremony site that fit perfectly with the natural, outdoorsy feel that we wanted for our day. Given that we were unable to meet him until the day of our wedding, he was exceptionally easy to work with.
And what a final product! From the close-ups that captured the joy and emotion of our big day to sweeping drone shots that captured why we moved our wedding to the San Juans, Preston managed to compress the best day of our lives into about 5 minutes without losing any meaning. Highly recommend for anybody looking for a videographer!
My husband and I got married near Durango in August 2019 and hired Preston as our videographer for our wedding. Preston did an amazing job capturing our special day in a short vide...
o that we watch over and over again! We've received so many compliments on this video, especially from those who were unable to attend the wedding and could still watch the best moments from our special day! He also recorded our entire ceremony and the toasts given during our reception which we loved watching on our 1 year anniversary! We highly recommend Preston as your videographer!
Preston is professional and creative. Our wedding video is a cherished memory. We have viewed it many many times as we remember our special day.
My partner and I were so lucky to have worked with Preston for our elopement! He was highly motivated to create the best experience possible for us. From the consultation to the da...
y of (and the many questions we had for him in between!) he expressed the utmost patience, professionalism and creativity for our event. On the day of our elopement the beautiful Colorado weather through us some curveballs our way but Preston was able to make the best out of it and created a video experience I will always cherish. The way he incorporated the venue, the environment, and our vision for our elopement together was absolutely perfect. I greatly enjoyed working with Preston and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top quality videographer!
My husband and I got married a year ago (I know... so late to finally be writing a review... been a crazy year, haha) and used Preston as our videographer and it's gonna be hard to...
express how wonderful he was! Preston was a dream to work with, made the entire process seamless and we could not be more thrilled with the end result. Our wedding was a destination wedding, so we were pumped to find Preston in Durango (we're from Austin) because he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and knew the best spots to get amazing footage. We had an elegantly themed Star Wars and Dr. Who wedding and he captured everything we wanted and made our hectic wedding day (about 200 guests, most from out of town) magical and took a lot of the stress away. We highly recommend him to locals and out-of-towners who want a gorgeous video of their wedding (or anything that needs to be filmed). Thanks to the moon and back, Preston... it wouldn't have been the same without you there/ filming all the right things!!! <3<3<3
Preston is a great videographer. He is polite and very easy to work with. His video of our wedding was amazing.
You won't find a better wedding videographer than Preston Benson Videography. His video is amazing. Our family and guests still talk about it, years later.

emely high quality and delivers great production value–it looks and feels like a high-end, big budget production, but filming was very inconspicuous. He has a great eye and captured all the key moments we wanted in a way that only video can. He just captured the whole day perfectly. Plus, he's a great guy and super easy to work with.
Hiring Breston Benson Videography was one of the best investments we made for our wedding. Highly, highly recommended.
