Premier Park Events

help in the decision-making process. And she and her team went above and beyond on our rainy day to make sure everything went smoothly and remained as beautiful as possible. My only suggestion for Premier Park would be to expand their list of exclusive vendors and to ensure complete pricing (or a realistic estimate) for equipment rentals is disclosed at booking. Otherwise, I cannot emphasize enough how above and beyond Kelsea and her team went on the day of the wedding and the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure the day went as smoothly as possible.

anning, being super responsive in her emails, listening to exactly what we want and also providing her own advice and expertise when we needed it. Mary was so friendly and a real pleasure to work with. Katie helped coordinate day of and last minute details leading up and she was on it! She answered all our questions and made sure everything was perfect for our big day. She helped us stay on the timeline, coordinate our wedding party, worked with all of our other vendors to make sure everyone knew the plan, helped setup and tear down, checked it with my husband and I throughout the day to make sure we were happy, all while blending in and letting us focus on each other. We got married at Ault Park Pavilion during prom season and Katie was able to help hold back all of the crazy prom goers for pictures so they were not disruptive to our lawn ceremony by the fountain, or the pavilion itself. She was there early and stayed late, making sure everything was going smoothly. We had such a fantastic day and we really owe it to the work of the Premier Parks Team, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

ound them very responsive and organized. They are very experienced in coordinating with vendors and planning the logistics of the day. They helped with set up and tear down on the day. I highly recommend this venue for your day!

!

ing process and Megan joined Kelsea for our final walkthrough and on our wedding day. Both Kelsea and Megan were fantastic to work with. We absolutely did not need to hire a wedding planner because Kelsea and Megan had it covered. They walked us through the process of planning and were there for a final walk through 1 month out, the rehearsal and the wedding day. The final walkthrough with Kelsea was exactly what we needed 1 month out. We had so many little worries like- what if someone who didn't RSVP shows up to the wedding? How are we going to bring in and take out our decorations? etc.- and Kelsea had a solution for all of them. She expertly ran our rehearsal while wrangling a wild group of friends. :) And on our big day, she made sure things went off without a hitch. She even problem solved a way to get my brother down the aisle... twice! so he could be an escort for my mom and a bridesmaid. This wasn't easy because we used the stairs at the base of Ault Park Pavilion as our "wedding aisle." -Highly recommend if your venue is Ault Park, it was magical :) We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding. I can honestly say the day went off without a hitch and most of that can be attributed to Kelsea, Megan and Premier Parks. If you are considering Premier Parks a few tips: -The contract was a little nerve wracking with the cut and dry language. Know that the people you will work with are FANTASTIC and also pretty flexible too. -Do your final walkthrough as early as you can because your worries will be eased. We ended up doing ours about 3 weeks out and wish we would've scheduled more on the front end- 6 - 5 weeks out. -Renting the tables/chairs/linens and other items seperately can feel a little overwhelming at first but your contact person will do all of that with you- and it is a quick and fun process. It also allows you to pick exactly what you want for your day! For example they have every color option for table cloths and napkins you can imagine! -Literally the only downside- they require that you use a specific lighting person who is basically impossible to get ahold of. Ask your contact person at premier parks to reach out to him for you, which we should've done from the get-go :) Other vendors we HIGHLY recommend: Rebecca Carmel Photography Mark McFadden DJ Vonderhaar's Catering A Little Bit of Green by Lisa - Lisa Kummer, florist Janay Beauty- hair and makeup

rk with. Would definitely recommend it.

as possible up to and including the day of. During the reception she did a great job of protecting our rented out space and making sure we had everything we needed. Alms park was the perfect location for our reception, so beautiful, and all the extras made it spectacular. We had a great time and our guests did too! The only downside to the parks is not having as complete a picture up front of the costs. There are more ‘extras’ that go along with the parks, but in the end it was well worth it.

, Katie helped us talk through the details of Krohn Conservatory, map out the layout and schedule, coordinate with vendors, and make the day-of feel like a total breeze! While the venue is small, we opted to do a no-traditional dinner of passed and plated hors d'oeuvres, allowing us to keep both the ceremony and reception indoors (rather than using the outdoor tent). PPE handled tables, chairs, linens, setup, and teardown. We brought in DIY bud vases for the tall tables and bistro tables, a Katie made sure they all were perfect. She worked with the caterer to get the timing of the food just right, and to place fresh flowers on our cake. We made our own playlist and Katie made sure every queue was right on point. I thought I would be worried about getting all of our decor in the right place, but Katie was a magician and I only had to worry about stay present in the moment. If anything during our wedding wasn't absolutely seemless, we were clueless. Katie and the teams at PPE, Chef's Choice, and Veritas Studio made our day so incredibly special. You're in great hands with PPE!

but efficient on the day of. My husband and I felt like we were in such good hands with Katie. She even took pictures of our sparkler send-off at the end of the night after our photographers left, and made sure everyone took home their various belongings at the end of the event. She went above and beyond and made our wedding go off without a single hitch (or if there were any hitches, we never knew thanks to Katie!) Ault Park - can't say enough good things about this place. We aren't strangers to the park, but the pavilion is such a gorgeous structure and the water feature, stone steps, and rose garden made for amazing pictures for us and our guests. Our guests especially loved getting sunset pictures - and these ended up being our favorite photos of us. 10/10 recommend.

edding/day of planner was Allie. We really appreciated her work day of the event; she kept us on time, in the right places and kept the event moving smoothly. I highly recommend working with her. The only issues we had were getting in contact with them for planning the event and a lot of hidden costs. I think if I could change anything of working with them is receiving a flat rate rather than a ton of additional hidden costs. For instance, we were required to work with their selected caterers and they had to pay a tax to Premier Park Events which drove our cost up. Overall, I would still highly recommend having your wedding here event here, it was the most beautiful venue and our guests raved about how amazing the wedding was done. Thank you so much for all the coordination and support, Allie!

Even though we worked with two coordinators, the transition was seamless. Both Allie and Kelsea were very professional and helped to realize our vision for our wedding. They were very flexible and fielded a lot of emails from me. The day could not have gone more smoothly. All of the Cincinnati parks make for amazing wedding venues, but Alms was perfect for our intimate gathering. Our guests were blown away (the gorgeous weather definitely helped, but even if it had rained, Alms is still a really great space). Can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Premier and the beautiful Cincy Parks!

providing us several different dates and options. We ended up booking Mt Echo Park and our wedding was really small, but the coordinator was on top of everything that we needed. Also, dropping off materials/decorations was easy, and we were able to do it in advance, which was super helpful.

g and look at other options where we could safely accommodate our guests. We found Kelsea through a friend, and from start to finish she was so wonderful to work with. She made what could of been a very stressful process absolutely seamless. We are forever grateful for all of her and her teams hard work to make the best day of lives so incredibly special. Our guests felt safe the entire time, through their well thought out protocols and set up. Kelsea was there for me through it all, and made me feel so at ease. We are so thankful for her and everything she did for us. If you’re looking for a wedding planner - she is THE best and she is your gal!!! Thank you so much to you Kelsea, your team, and Ault Park for helping creating the best memories of our lives.

cess and was really someone I could always count on to get my questions answered ASAP. She offered great suggestions as far as layout, linens, and flow of the evening. She consistency checked in with my vendors to make sure everything would go seamlessly on the big day. Did I mention she's just a fun bubbly person to be around? All in all, Ault Park itself is a beautiful venue and anyone would be silly to pass up this space!

h in her correspondence. As a bride who wasn't super enthusiastic about all the planning that goes into a wedding and then also having to deal with doing it during a pandemic, I often felt overwhelmed. However, meeting and corresponding with Kelsea always put me at ease as she was clearly organized and knew what she was doing. On the day of, everything went perfectly. Katie from PPE was there from the start of the day to the end to make sure everything went smoothly with the vendors and the time line for the night. She even managed the music as we just had playlists on a iPad rather than hiring a DJ. Virtually every guest commented on how on top of everything she was and what a great job she did throughout the night. I do agree with some of the other reviews about being a little bit surprised about some of the charges when it was all said and done, but that could be on me for not asking more questions up front. Overall I would do it all again for the wonderful evening we had through PPE.

e scheduled to get married at Ault Park over the summer and had to move the date because of the pandemic - this process was very simple and we received no fees/issues from Premier Parks throughout. Allie did a wonderful job of communicating with us throughout the whole wedding planning process and had everything handled very well. The venue was beautiful in the end and all of our guests were raving about the setup and decor. The only draw back we have is how expensive everything became - the rental only pays for the venue, you are required to have the awnings and therefore you need to add $2000 to the bill automatically, then you pay all of the equipment separate (napkins, tablecloths, chairs, tables, even the security guard); there are also no decor or lighting provided, you have to do that yourself and use their lighting company. As a result of partnering with Premier Parks, all the vendors (which you have a list of choices) charge an extra fee on top of their own services - so keep that in mind as well. Lastly, there isn't a space for the bridal party to get ready - although we found wonderful AirBNBs in the Hyde Park area to do so which worked out great for our bridal party. Again, we loved every minute of our wedding day and the venue, just wish it had been a little more upfront about the costs and been more budget-friendly.

with PPE again, we’d choose a different location one hundred percent. We chose PPE for our wedding to have the ease of having a coordinator for our reception and it turned out to be an unorganized mess. We started out with one coordinator, which she was a delight, however a little difficult to get in contact with. Then, we were switched to a new coordinator without notice and never heard from the original person again, but we rolled with it. Throughout the final months, the new coordinator seemed confused and unaware of what we had discussed in the beginning stages. Finally on the day of, we noticed that we had not seen our coordinator yet, but another woman that seemed like she was with the company. For the entire evening, we had not been spoken to by a member of PPE, the girl, who was on her phone using it for personal matters all night, was telling our guests that the event ended an hour earlier than booked. We were very upset that we paid the amount that we did to have all of these amazing assets that PPE was supposed to offer in comparison with other companies. A FRIEND and GUEST at our wedding worked tirelessly all day to make sure the reception went off without a hitch and she did a much better job than the coordinator that was working that day. Because of all of this and the money that we put their way, we will not be recommending PPE to our friends in the future.

when it comes to the final details. The whole thing just really helped this anxious bride.

erfect fit! Molly was great to work with. She helped us plan all of the details of the day. I didn’t need to hire a day-of planner because she took care of coordinating all the vendors and arranging the decorations that I gave her. I took off a star because there was some miscommunication. There were several changes to the venue décor (taking down temporary signs meant for regular visitors to the Krohn, etc.) that we had discussed with Molly during our final walk through a week before and during our rehearsal the night before the wedding that weren’t done. Several of these signs show up in the background of our pictures and took away from the ambiance that we had planned and expected. There were also several promises made that weren’t kept – we were promised that we would have a speaker and microphone in the showroom for our entrance into cocktail hour, background music for cocktail hour, and for our toasts. This wasn’t there for cocktail hour, although it did show up in time for our toasts. We had also planned on putting a few tables in the cactus room for our guests to sit at to encourage them to use the whole conservatory. Molly found out the day of that the entrance booth for the butterfly show couldn’t be moved out of the room, so we couldn’t use the room, and our tables had to be squeezed into the other rooms, leading to a more crowded feeling. Molly took care of all the rearranging since this happened day of, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. That all being said, our guests had a great time. None of the issues were ones that they noticed or detracted from their experience. They loved the butterflies and the venue, and it definitely is one of the most unique ones in the city.

to use their rentals, list of caterers, alcohol packages, and lighting. You have to pay for EVERYTHING individually, down to each napkin. My wedding was at Ault Park, and even though the tents are almost always up, we were still required to pay $2000 to use them. There are a few caterers to choose from, but even the cheapest ones were not exactly the most budget friendly. My event coordinator also wasn’t the easiest to work with. Not only did she make several errors throughout the process and on the day of, but it felt like I was just a number and not a bride planning one of the most important days of her life. If they are going to handle such precious and personal events, then they need to treat them as such. Otherwise, they should not be in the wedding business. In conclusion, if budget is not an issue and your dead set on using one of their venues, go for it. Otherwise, I would pass. There are so many other places out there that give you a lot more freedom, value you as a client, actually care about your event and don’t charge you for every little thing.

were so impressed, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful and stunning venue. You get the best of both worlds, a beautiful private mansion in the park and a spectacular tented garden reception. Many of our guests mentioned that it looked like a wedding out of a magazine and it really did. A lot of our guests told us that it was the best wedding that they've ever been too. The Premier Park Events Staff, especially Kevin, Nikki and Eden made sure that our event was flawless that night and that everything flowed smoothly. They made the wedding planning very easy and I can't appreciate them enough for all of their hard work. The staff was really detail oriented and we did not have to worry about a thing! They were absolutely amazing. Thank you again!

both my wedding and reception there but you can choose and they help you plan and coordinate with the other vendors.

e minor hiccup, but they were quick to correct things. Overall, we had a great experience with Premier Park Events and would definitely recommend them for special events.

Her honest input, professionalism, and eye for designing our layout made our planning process so much easier. We definitely recommend it! Getting married at Alms Park was the greatest night of our lives, thanks Molly!

or that outdoor vibe without having to worry about the weather. The staff at Premier Park Events really work hard to ensure that you have the most perfect night of your life. They have a variety of venues to choose from and they even have a staff member work with you every step of the way to make sure every little detail is in place. For someone who wasn't entirely sure how to go about planning a wedding, they practically did it all for you. From answering all of my detailed questions to making sure all of your vendors were on the same page. They set up AND tear down for you and even go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Without even telling them where we wanted specific decorations, they were able to make the venue look amazing and exactly how we wanted it. I can not thank them enough for their hard work and help throughout the process. I probably got more compliments on my venue than anything else. Thank you thank you Premier Park Events!!

had (and I had many!), returns calls promptly and was just all around a pleasure to work with. We would recommend PPE to anyone! The layouts they give you during the planning meetings are great. They also do a great job coordinating all of your vendors for setup the day of.

cuss the details of our wedding. She definitely understood the "vision" that I had for our ceremony and reception! Allie followed up with all of our vendors a week before the wedding to confirm drop-off times, which was so helpful for this stressed out bride!

work with. I found her to be professional, organized and confident. Allie was very responsive to any questions I had and offered suggestions when I asked for some. Katie was our day of coordinator and she was equally professional and friendly. She decorated as I instructed and the reception went flawlessly with no worries for me. Never did I have to ask her to do anything because it was already being taken care of even before I thought about it. I was able to enjoy every minute of the evening!!! Thank you Allie and Katie.

sions we ever made. Kimmy was a dream to work with. She was so sweet, so helpful and really made us feel special on our big day. She was constantly moving around making sure everything was running the way it was supposed to and she was always quick to respond during the planning stages. We got married in Alms Park and it was everything we had hoped for. The back drop was perfect. We had dancing upstairs and everyone commented on how gorgeous the park was. I don't think you could go wrong with any of their parks and you are definitely not going to find anyone more helpful than Kimmy was. I know outdoor weddings can be a little nerve wracking but if you truly love nature and the parks the weather really doesn't matter. You'll have a wonderful time with a gorgeous view. I am so thankful we chose to get married outside and so glad we were lucky enough to work with someone as sweet and wonderful as Kimmy. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding absolutely perfect!

had an urgent question close to our wedding date. The venue spoke for itself, and our guests were blown away. Very pleased with PPE!

ry is booked through Premier Park Events and our contact, Allie, was extremely easy to work with. Allie met us for a walk through of the location and multiple planning meetings while also answering our millions of questions in between. They required us to use one of their preferred caterers which we didn't love, but appears to be the norm. We did not realize initially that the cost of the venue did not include table, chair, or linen rental and that all of that had to be booked through them as well. While initially the venue was one of the cheapest options we looked at, once you added in these extra costs it was quickly on par with all of the other locations. Planning our wedding at the Krohn was a little different than other locations because it was open to the public during the day. We couldn't start decorating until it was closed to the public and the doors didn't open for our guests until 10 minutes before the ceremony, but everything was set up on time and Allie suggested opening a bar outside before the doors opened. This was a genius idea that all of our guests loved! It was also very warm inside, but that was to be expected when we scheduled our wedding inside a greenhouse in the middle of July. We had 100 guests and I would not suggest more than that even though they say that the location holds 120 inside. The dining area was pretty packed with just our guests and I could not imagine adding any more tables. While there are definitely some quirks to having a wedding the Krohn, overall we had a great time and are very pleased with our decision to have our ceremony and reception there. The conservatory is beautiful and required absolutely zero additional decorations. Our guests loved the unique venue as well (other than the heat).

! Not only was she incredibly responsive via email or text when I had a question, but she definitely went out of her way several times in order to help us make our wedding day wonderful. Prior to the big day she made time to meet with me on several occassions to discuss table layout, linen selection, you name it. She was always friendly and positive... which can be tough when you are dealing with crazy brides all day long and all weekend. On the wedding day she and her associate were organized and calm, which helped me be able to just enjoy celebrating with family and friends... I truly had an wonderfully amazing wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without a great coordinator working with me. For any couple looking to have their wedding at Ault Park or any of the other Cincinnati parks that PPE work with, please be aware that the couple is responsible for obtaining and working directly with all of the vendors for the wedding (there is a lengthy list of caterers that can work with PPE)... including the caterer, DJ, lighting specialist, photographer, florist, etc. I started my planning process almost a year in advance to start researching quality vendors. The PPE coordinator is mainly just for the park, he or she can make recommendations and does coordinate "day of" details with the vendors you end up selecting for the wedding, but the couple intially selects each vendor and works directly with them. This can be a little surprising considering the cost to have a wedding at Ault Park is not cheap, but the beauty of the pavilion and the surrounding lawns and treescapes are breathtaking. We had our wedding on a Sunday in order to save some $$ which worked out very well for us. If you do work with PPE, the company hosts various food and wine/beer tastings throughout the year at the Gibson House so you can try many of their approved caterers and sample the beers and wines available for your event. Note, the alcohol package is purchased through PPE and is a little more rigid than some other venues we considered. If you are really picky, it's a good idea to discuss options with your PPE so that you have the alcohol you want at your event. For any couple considering a beautiful outdoor park wedding and is starting their planning process well in advance (at least 7-10 months), I would definitely recommend Ault Park Pavilion and PPE! :)

ery piece of furniture, linens, plates, etc. needs to to be rented separately. Overall, I felt the customer service from Premier Parks was very good. I had no request unfulfilled, and my wedding turned out perfect. However, I feel that the company could do well to streamline the process for brides a bit. Once I submitted my deposit, I was never given a timeline of when to set meetings to set a layout, etc., and was not even told who my day-of coordinator would be until 2 weeks before (when I called to ask). In my opinion, the day-of-coordinator should be designated well in advance so that communication is easier. In addition, Premier Park does not communicate ahead of time with your caterer, so you must be the "go-between" the two companies. For instance, PPE and my caterer disagreed on the number of buffet lines needed, and I wasn't really sure how to resolve that. The same goes for a lighting/microphone company - it is a separate contractor, so I had to call both parties on multiple occasions to get things sorted out. All in all, they turn out beautiful ceremonies and receptions and really take care of you on the big day, but be prepared to be organized and take initiative beforehand.

fairly stressful to work with Premier Park Events. It seems they are under-staffed and unable to be responsive, prompt for meetings, or to provide a higher level of customer service that is expected for the cost and importance of the events they are handling for their clients. As the best examples of the stress we experienced in our communication with PPE, our assigned event coordinator was a half hour late arriving to our scheduled rehearsal time the day before our wedding. On the day of our wedding, our coordinator never came, due to issues occurring at another park venue, and her business partner handled our event instead (they were also 15 minutes late arriving the day of our wedding, and we had vendors waiting to get in and begin set-up). In the end things worked out well, however the stress we experienced was unnecessary and unprofessional. If PPE were an independent vendor separate from the park system, they wouldn't be able to keep clients if they treated them the way we were. The company seems disorganized and emotionally disconnected from their clients' most meaningful events. I would recommend hiring an event coordinator if you choose a Premier Park location.

tting married there. The location is just beautiful and the house is so elegant. The site was perfect for taking pictures and a great location. I would highly recommend getting married at any of the Cincinnati Parks!
