Pottinger Photography

and and I feel very confident and comfortable. Our wedding day is something we will cherish forever with these beautiful pictures taken by Brenda and her assistant. Gorgeous quality, great ideas for poses, social moments captured. Brenda is a very cool, calm and relaxed person. She’s so awesome and you will not be disappointed if you chose her as your wedding day photographer. Thank you Brenda! ❤️

ot on, she is easy and fun to work with. We could not have been happier with her. You cannot go wrong choosing Pottinger Photography!

ecommend Brenda to all people! Her experience in the wedding business goes beyond the camera. She gave great advice on planning, decorating, and everything else we threw her way. She is very prompt, great at communicating, and is just as excited for your day as you will be.

their faces light up when they think of her!! She is an experienced professional who’s knowledgeable, organized, and a delight to work with. To any bride whos camera-shy and nervous about all the attention, Brenda will take care of you AND make you feel beautiful and comfortable! You will both have loads of fun! On our wedding day, we also got the pleasure of meeting her dad who was the second photographer; it was sweet to have her family capturing our memories on a very family-focused day. I could go on but in short, book Brenda for your wedding, get the wedding album curated by her, and enjoy the engagement session! 🤍

xpo and immediately fell in love with her bright colors in her photos (instead of completely muted/edited colors). She did engagement photos for us exactly 1 year out from our wedding date so she could know what the lighting would be like on our special day. Her customer service with us was also highly commendable. One of our engagement 8x10 prints got mixed up, and she immediately reprinted the correct photo AND included ~30 copies of the same photo in 3x5. For the day of, she did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing our happiest moments with our friends and family.

very comfortable in front of the camera but her personality made it so easy to forget the pressure. She is a total pro who had her eye on the weather, sunset, family needs... all of it! During the wedding, Brenda caught EVERY detail, including things we would have never thought to ask about but are so glad to have recorded. Her patience and recovery when we had a location mix-up while getting ready was amazing and kept the stress way down. We are so lucky to have worked with her and will be coming back the next time we need beautiful, creative photos where you can feel the love we have for each other and the love Brenda has for her work.

ing for and more. She kept everyone laughing and captured those candid moments we love to look back on. I would go back to her again and again to capture all of life’s moments and highly recommend you have her photograph your special day.

e the date photo sessions and we had SO many great options to choose from, I’m confident our wedding photos will be the same!! At our first meeting (even before signing a contract) Brenda provided a day-of schedule to help us work through how much coverage time we would need and things to think about - she listened intently and made many wonderful suggestions! We were just blown away with our first meeting and quickly signed a contract. Brenda truly goes above and beyond to make sure her couples have the BEST experience. I joked on our wedding day that Brenda was the “boss lady” but it’s so true! She helped make sure everyone was where they needed to be, in the outfits they needed to be in and at the right time they needed to be there - she was so organized on the day of to ensure no moment or photo was missed! (Important because the day flies by so I really appreciated her efforts to capture it all!) I couldn’t say enough amazing things about Brenda, all I can say is choose her! She’s just simply outstanding!!!

felt comfortable. If you are taking engagement photos with Pottinger photography, by wedding day you will know she will capture every special shot of your loving moments and the silly ones too.

race, and the photos you end up with are amazing.

et her so I could make sure the fit was right for him too, luckily it was. Brenda was incredible right from the beginning, she even gave some vendor recommendations that we did end up using. At our engagement shoot Brenda helped us with how to pose, which helped for our wedding day. Brenda and I also bonded over our love for Disney, which was perfect since our wedding was Disney themed. Brenda was with me throughout our wedding day and was so helpful not only with getting some amazing photos but with help on how to bustle my large princess train. I would give Brenda 10 stars if I could and I definitely look forward to working with her again!

ss. For starters, she is a fabulous person and is incredibly generous and thoughtful! Her talent is truly a bonus! I’m so overwhelmed by all the precious moments she captured of our big day, but even more so with her professionalism and grace. Brenda held my hand and guided me through tough wedding changes due to Covid and constantly assured me it would be perfect. She went far beyond her contract duties to support me. She also took genuine interest in getting to know our family and friends. So many told us how much they enjoyed her! Even under a tighter than expected timeframe on the day of, she kept me calm and feeling good (no easy feat)! I remember thinking I wish I had asked for certain pictures of the venue in our meetings, but I totally forgot. When I got our pictures back I wasn’t surprised to see she captured all the big and little details! Lastly, as someone who’s never loved being photographed, I actually enjoyed working with her! We had so much fun and I never felt more beautiful! We are so thankful we chose her and we know you will be too. Long story not so short, if you need a photographer for any event, we give her our highest recommendation! 💕

he wedding to go over details and was always available and responsive over the phone/email! Highly recommend for any photo needs!

fun, kept us on schedule, and answered all of our questions...and then some! She is truly a gift and I could've not asked for someone better! HIGHLY recommend!

being flexible during all the crazy changes. We had her present at our social distance wedding in June, love the photos. We are going to have her capturing our reception next summer and looking forward to the next celebration and what she will capture for our life long memories. So thankful for her communication, flexibility, and friendliness!

epth timeline of when and where photos would be taken, to what pictures we wanted (group, individual, family, ladies only, men only, etc), and who to contact if she had any questions the day of so she wouldn't need to ask me. Brenda had worked at our venue numerous times in the past so she knew exactly where to go for the best photos, had a great working relationship with the venue owners (bed and breakfast), and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. After the wedding Brenda quickly sent a handful of sneak peeks via email, and just two months later had our entire wedding album complete and a custom flash drive full of photos she took. I will forever be a Pottinger Photography customer!

y turn and I went straight to her booth and got to chatting with Brenda. I knew she was my first choice immediately, but being a partner and teammate I wanted my fiance on board as well. From the first meeting he was sold. Every time we met with Brenda it felt like we were catching up with an old friend. She made us feel special and helped us work through the chaos that is wedding planning. We were both a little nervous about our engagement session, but Brenda kept us laughing and we ended up enjoying every moment. We chatted for a bit at the end of our session and just before we were about to say goodbye, Brenda stopped us and snapped a few more pictures because of the sunset. The picture she caught ended up on our save the date and is a favorite among friends and family. Fast forward to our big day, we were blown away by Brenda once again. Her eye for lighting and color, her efficiency and time management all made our day just perfect. She was able to control every crazy moment and kept us moving so that we were always on time. She made sure we got everything we wanted that day. We are anxiously awaiting our pictures but we already know that we will love everyone of them. We would recommend Brenda to anyone and everyone, and we hope to work with her many times again in the future.

ergy, self-motivated, and extroverted to make sure things got done. Brenda was the perfect complement to our laid back style: she brought a lot of much needed vivacity and direction to our wedding day. She kept everything running smoothly and had everyone laughing while she did it. I also found her to be very considerate and sensitive. I get stressed out easily, especially when I have to be the center of attention. She made time to check in and make sure I wasn't getting too overwhelmed. She also did a great job of deflecting attention away from me when I wanted some space, which I am so grateful for. Brenda was like a photographer, an extra bridesmaid, and a bodyguard all rolled into one. I don't think I can do justice to her photography with words, but I'll try. I am often very insecure about my appearance, but I have the prints from our engagement shoot hanging up all over our house because every single one is so beautiful. I'll be the first to admit that I don't post pictures of myself without filters or editing, and that it's warped how I view myself. But I knew I didn't want my wedding photos to be doctored. I wanted to capture my wedding day as it was: chubby arms and all. I think seeing my engagement photos every day has helped me appreciate my unedited face a little more. I look at Brenda's pictures and see my best self. Not the self I made up for Instagram, but my true self: laughing and beautiful, with a little bit of a double chin, holding hands with the love of my life. The pictures are all flattering, but still very authentic. For a quiet, reserved couple like my husband and I, Brenda was our advocate and our cheerleader. I think a more outgoing couple would find in her a kindred spirit. Either way, in the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, it's nice to know that someone like Brenda has your back.

ry small). We met Brenda at a show and suddenly needed her to be part of our adventure. She has been far beyond incredible during our journey! Our pictures speak perfectly to who we are and what was important to us. She has incredible attention to detail and took time to learn about who we are and our values. Perfect is not good enough to describe our experience with Brenda and the pictures we have, from engagement session to wedding. There is no one better if you are looking for a photographer who cares as much about you as a couple as she does her job. She didn't come to our wedding as a photographer, but as a friend, and her care for us shows in the amazing pictures she took!!

She is such a talented photographer and takes the time to get to know each & every couple or client so that she can beautifully capture your special memories. When I became engaged this summer, my first thought was to ask Brenda to be our photographer! She made our engagement session fun and comfortable, and created such beautiful photos for us. We've seen just a small number of our wedding day photos so far and cannot wait to receive the entire gallery! She certainly DID capture our love story! We highly recommend Brenda & Pottinger Photography to everyone!

ed while she told a story in pictures. All our vendors were excellent, and we can now confirm that by seeing how beautiful the venue looked through Brenda’s photos. She understood how much time and planning went into making this day special. The night goes by so fast, and we’re now able to relive so many of those memories because of Brenda capturing the small details as well as some wonderful emotions of not only my daughter and son-in-law, but of our family and guests. Brenda listened to my daughter’s thoughts and ideas and implemented them flawlessly. Her photos are proof of what a special day it was and she expertly captured the memories!! Thank you Brenda.

bout her from Kehlen Buschatz and would certainly recommend her!

sts. However, all our concerns were immediately alleviated after our first meeting with Brenda Pottinger. There is something to be said about someone who is local, professional, and dedicated to her craft. Brenda Pottinger was familiar with both venues, had worked them, and knew the rules better than us. Not only that, but Brenda had photos from those previous events in her vast portfolio and was able to show us how she would be able to capture the grandeur of our ceremony and love between us and our guests. Brenda Pottinger was personally interested in our satisfaction, punctual and flexible with our chaotic scheduling, and made the whole experience fun. Finally, and most importantly, Brenda captured everything we could have asked for. Looking back on the photos is like stepping into a time machine and walking out at our wedding. You can almost hear the laughter, music, and exchanging of vows by looking at the attention to detail she captured in her pictures. We could not have been happier with our choice and highly recommend Pottinger Photography to anyone who is looking for someone that will be there every step of the way and capture it on film.

and organized when it came to directing all of the pictures between us and our families. So thankful for her and so lucky to have her photographer at our wedding. Her personality is so easy to get along with! When it comes to taking the family pictures, she makes its so fun and effortless 😁

er work is amazing but I also wanted someone who I would enjoy spending my entire wedding day with. My husband and I met with her a few days later and booked that day. Having an engagement shoot as part of our package was wonderful because we were able to feel comfortable in front of the camera. It rained the whole day of our engagement shoot but the pictures are beyond gorgeous! The day of the wedding Brenda came early and stayed late, she made sure we got every single shot that had been discussed! She was so patient through all the crying and all the additional ideas I had. The best part about Brenda is how great she is with children. We had one flower girl that was overwhelmed and nervous and every picture Brenda captured of her is beyond amazing, you would never even know she cried through most of it. We got our pictures back in about 6 weeks, which was crazy fast, and were blown away! Choosing Brenda to capture our special day was the best decision we made and I’m sure we will work with her on any future photos needs we may have! Thank you, Brenda!!

ng job.

nowledgable about weddings which really benefited us to avoid logistical errors and extra stress. We didnt realize how helpful this was until later in planning. When we sat down to meet with her we felt like she got to know us and incorporate our personality into amazing photos. I'm pickier than my fiance, and searched several photographers before choosing her. Her use of lighting, scenery/backgrounds, and placement of things is very very good. She extremely artistically talented with all the aspects. Her work place is amazing as well for non-wedding photos. She was very thoughtful and made this an enjoyable planning process too, when all the wedding planning can be overwhelming. We are so glad to have her as our wedding photographer and highly recommend her!

e searching for a great photographer and person, look no further!

tos clothesline clipped to twine, which was perfect for my farm wedding. I took her info and met with her a couple weeks later. From the first meeting she made me feel like a good friend. She taught us a lot at our engagement session and the photos turned out more beautiful than I had imagined. At the wedding, she kept everything going smooth and all I had to do was enjoy the day! I am currently awaiting my wedding photos, but I got a surprise peek at one picture and I'm in love. Check out her website and see for yourself! I'd recommend her to everyone I know.

Auarium were gorgeous and we are looking forward to cherishing them for the rest of our lives!!!!

she did just that! We couldn’t have dreamed to have better pictures and a better session than what Pottinger Photographer!

but behind the scenes Brenda is a joy to work with. She made my **husband!!** feel so comfortable which made a HUGE difference since he is normally very awkward at posed shots! Leading up to the wedding, Brenda was a fantastic resource in helping us choose a location and even a videographer. Day of, she kept us on schedule, worked some outside shots in around a very volatile weather day, and made sure we got every shot we wanted! During the ceremony and reception, we hardly noticed her and yet somehow she has some of the most amazing shots. The best thing is, we got a blog post with 70+ pictures only a week after our wedding! Brenda was the first wedding decision we made and one of the best, it took so much stress away knowing we had such a capable photographer capturing our moments.

to capturing a wedding day and her work is beyond beautiful!!! Our whole bridal party felt so comfortable around her and I knew our pictures of our perfect day would be gorgeous! I would highly recommend Brenda for any photography needs!! She is the best!!!

newborn photos as well. She has a gentle touch and personality for people of all ages. Thank you so much, Brenda!

m the first moment my husband and I met Brenda she immediately put us at ease about everything and made us feel like old friends. After meeting with Brenda throughout the planning process and for our engagement photos, we knew that on our actual wedding day we didn’t have anything to worry about. After the wedding when Brenda sent us an e mail saying our wedding photos were ready to be viewed, it felt like Christmas. I spent all morning laughing and crying as I went through the photos. I was amazed at all the details and moments that Brenda captured without us even realizing it! I knew when I picked Brenda that she would do a great job but she exceeded all my expectations! Brenda truly made our day special and we sincerely can’t thank her enough! Her photos will forever decorate our home!

etailed, organized, and timely with all communication. I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed!

d him in everything and made sure he had input as well. She met us for a quick save-the-date shoot in freezing temperatures so we could get them mailed out in time and still did a full engagement session when the weather was nicer. Her ideas are amazing, and unlike any other photo albums I've seen of my friends. I picked for our engagement session to be with a rowboat and she was balancing in a paddleboat to get the perfect shot! On our wedding day it was like having a friend with us. She was super organized and stayed right with the timeline. She even got my super-shy flower girl smiling! I thought it would be hard to choose a photographer, but Brenda's creative style and personality meshed so well with ours it ended up being an easy decision.

spirational), but she also captured subtle moments I will forever treasure. I would have been happy with that alone but her personality is so genuine and easy it was truly joy to be around her. She was like a trusted friend who really cared about getting you the most perfect memories while also having a calming presence that only made the day better. I am hoping to use her again for family photos.

er at a bridal show hosted there. My Groom and I are not always the most photogenic people and we wanted someone who could work with us and the lighting and the amount of glass at the aquarium which seemed tricky to us so we needed someone who was experienced with the venue. Brenda has, in this year process gone so far and above anything I would ever imagine. She has just wow'd us on being so detail orientated. We did 3 photo sessions leading up to our big day. an engagement session, a birthday shoot and a bridal session. She's like a best friend, a wedding planner, and a professional all in one person. During a makeup session we were even asked how long we've been friends. We feel like we've know Brenda and her warm heart our whole life. The photos I have so far are all going to be cherished for a lifetime and I couldn't imagine having anyone else do our photography. We hired a photographer and left with a true friend.

wedding we wanted something a. It different, and she really did a great job showing a gracious wedding . I cannot thank Brenda enough for beautiful memories from my daughters wedding as well as ours. She is a true “ FIVE STAR” Photographer!! Thank you Brenda!!!

o finish, and our outdoor wedding became an indoor affair. Brenda never missed a beat, and was that helpful from start to finish. She provided recommendations on make-up, hair, her checklists were invaluable to my planning, and she was my go-t0 vendor throughout the affair. That being said, Brenda was so much more than just a photographer to us, but was rather a partner in the planning of our event. Our planning, from start to finish, was about three months. We couldn't have done it without Brenda. The photographs were certainly beautiful, and Brenda was professional and fun throughout the process, but she was also an amazing resource and her assistance extended far beyond beautiful pictures.
