Potliquor is a catering company in Oakland, CA, crafting seasonal, carefully-made food with locally-sourced ingredients for weddings and occasions of all kinds. Owned and run by a team of talented experts with years of experience in the kitchen, couples across the country are in for a meaningful, memorable meal service.
Potliquor is more than a catering business; it's a way for founders Jennifer and Laura to build strong friendships with the clients they meet. A journey with Potliquor always begins with a consultation, where they get a good sense of the feel of the event, what’s most important, and the needs of the guests. They then craft a custom menu and proposal based on that conversation, followed by a few other refinements for a perfect finished product. They pair food to people and moments, from weddings to casual birthday parties and even corporate events.
The Potliquor team looks forward to hearing about your special celebration, and they have a range of services to help you enjoy your feast to the fullest, from buffet catering options to delivery, setup, cleanup, and more. For more information, you can get in touch with the team today.

This review is coming embarrassingly late, but the bright side is that I can say that 1.5 years later, our friends and family are STILL talking about the food from our wedding (and...
we are still dreaming about it). Potliquor is truly a cut above the rest, the creme de la creme. We loved that they are passionate about fair labor practices. Laura and her team took such care in helping us craft the meal to blend our Italian and Californian backgrounds and were very patient with us with all our changes and additions along the way. It's clear how much they love what they do and how incredibly they do it. Each course tasted better than the next and was so beautifully presented. And beyond that, they're a joy to work with. We really can't say enough good things about them. If you love food and it's important to you on your wedding, just book Potliquor. Thank you so much Potliquor (and we're so sorry this review is so late!)
Jennifer and Laura are INCREDIBLE! They were recommended to us by friends who are real foodies and we feel like we really lucked out that they were available to cater our wedding. ...
They were very generous with their time, going through several rounds of menu ideas, and they truly captured what we were wanting our guests to enjoy. Months after our wedding, our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food at our wedding. Their catering staff were also wonderful- very professional and attentive to our guests.
On top of the amazing food they created for our wedding, Laura and Jennifer also very patiently coordinated all of our rentals. They helped us figure out the best seating set-up and were always responsive, professional, and warm.
And on top of all that, they also coordinated the bar/drinks, which were perfect. If you want delicious, beautiful, thoughtfully sourced food made by wonderful people, I very highly recomment Potliquor!!
