Potions in Motions catered my wedding. They saved the day at the last minute when my Caterer double booked and refunded our money 3 months before our wedding. Bonnie is great and v...
ery personable. She worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. ALL the guests raved about the food. Especially the steak. They have a great reputation. We ate some food the next day and it was still delicious! Definitely go with Potions in Motion.
I just went to a wedding last night catered by Potions in Motion. The food was horrible. Starting with the appatizers of hummus and stale pita bread. The salad was "eh" to say the ...
least with browning pear slices on top. The entree was the worst. Raw chicken and fish were served. There were only about 70 people there. How can you serve raw food?! The vegetables were hard, barely cooked and flavorless. I would never recommend them and everyone at the wedding felt the same way. Not impressed.
I hired Potions in Motion for my wedding caterer & bartending vendor. They were a bit difficult to work with in the beginning, and figuring out menu pricing and budgeting was no ea...
sy task. But in the end we were extremely happy with the service they provided. It really was top notch catering! The food quality was absolutely fabulous and the staff was on point! The carving station, plates, silverware, table clothes, cake display etc was all 5-star quality and they really did a stunning job! All of our guests were VERY pleased with the quality of food that was served!
Excellent food Superior service great people Thank you Jason NO WORDS!!! Christina you are the best WOW!!!
They were simply amazing! Having all my food and beverages all from one vendor really made things much simpler. But I loved having a custom bar front, which all of my guest were ...
blown away by. For the past 3 weeks I have had all my guest tell me how fantastic the food was, one bride to be is already planning on contacting them for reception which is always a good sign.
The staff made planning the event very easy and if I never need a catering company again, there is no one else I would call!
Jason and Tara are exceptional people. Not only they work really hard to make your party the best to can be, they do it with love! They went above and beyond in our wedding, and ev...
erything was perfect!! There is not one single person who did not complemented us about the food. Kristina, their event coordinator, was on top of everything that was happening in the wedding, and did an amazing job for the decoration and organization. Our day was perfect, thanks to those people who put their hearts and soul on what they do. Having Potions in Motion in your party is a guarantee success!!
Staff was friendly. Drinks were good, but got sweeter as the night went on. Other than that, the bar was priced competitively within the area and all services contracted were rende...
red as expected. I would recommend them.
I used Potions in Motion as the caterer by wedding reception as well as provide all of the rentals. They were absolutely wonderful from the moment we first started talking with th...
em. I really appreciated how responsive they were to email and the many many questions I had along the way. My wedding was a destination wedding in Florida so I did not have the chance to have a tasting before the wedding so I took Jason and team's recommendations for what food would be the best. The food was an absolute hit!! Everyone love it. My guests were from all of the US and even those from LA and NYC who are used to really fancy weddings talked about how this was some of the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. The appetizers that were the biggest hit were:
-Sliced Filet Mignon with Wasabi Parsnip Potato Puree on a Crostini with Micro-Greens
-Panko Encrusted Crab Cakes with a Roasted Chipotle Aiolo and Tri-Pepper (My brother in law only wanted to eat these all night because they were so good!)
-Garlic Rosemary Butter-flied Shrimp with Dill Aioli
-Asparagus Spear Risotto with Chives in Mini Martini Glasses (I almost took this one off the menu during planning and I am so glad we didn't)
For dinner we had the live pasta station which was also really yummy (make sure to get the a la vodka). The staff was very responsive and very nice. They kept everything moving along at a great pace. They also packed up all of the food for us that was left over and we really enjoyed eating leftovers the next day. For the rentals we did have a slight error during the delivery with a few of the items being incorrect, but I gave them a call and they were back within two hours with the correct items.
I hired Potions in motion for my catering, bar, up-lighting, DJ and food rentals.
I loved their responsiveness, professionalism and "make it happen" attitude.
I received so...
ooo many compliment on the food (get the steak) . The bar looked great and the staff was wonderful.
This vendor was referred to me by my venue manager and I see why.
I honestly can say I have 0 complaints. This was money well spent. Even the DJ was professional and awesome.
It was also nice having access to the owner at any given time.
Book them and you will not regret it!
