The wedding night was seamless too, and Burnie did an awesome job reading the mood and playing songs we requested perfectly. He helped us have the best time, and from our guests we've had nothing but rave reviews about our DJ! We had compared and had intro calls with a few DJ vendors in the Lancaster area, and Burnie stood out from the beginning and really delivered for us. He had a package where we could add a Live music element, a saxophonist and percussionist, to enhance the music experience. This was exactly what we were looking for, because we love Live music but knew a full band would be too much for our budget and wouldn't fit well in our particular venue. This option worked out great; the two musicians were fantastic, fun and complemented the music well throughout the night. And they even learned some of our requested songs just for us, in addition to a list of songs they knew which we could choose from. Before the wedding, Burnie had several calls with us to work out the details that made us feel confident, and he attended our on-site walkthrough before the event, and even stayed late to make sure he had a solid plan for where he would set up in our venue, which had a somewhat unusual layout. He essentially served as a bit of a wedding planner and coordinator, providing advice and making sure small details were taken care of, like how we were mic'd up for different portions of the night (including our ceremony in front of a noisy waterfall - all guests could hear us!), and arranging a sound check so a wedding guest of ours could sing our first dance song. He helped us really put on a “show”! Overall, the experience Burnie provided was exceptional beginning to end, and even more so considering the super fair price when compared to other options we’d considered. Thank you Burnie!
