WE ORDERED OUR WEDDING FLOWERS OFF THE INTERNET! YES, REALLY! AND WOW, DID WE HIT THE JACKPOT! Let me set the scene. We're planning my daughter's wedding, scrolling through social media, and come across Poppy, a company offering wedding flowers online. So naturally, we thought, "What could possibly go wrong ordering one of the most important decorations for a wedding from a social media post?!" And then WE DID IT! Here's how it works. You meet with their team twice, discuss your vision, review your options, and they coordinate your order with a local florist. Then you cross your fingers, say a little prayer, and hope beautiful flowers actually show up on your wedding day! WELL, LET ME TELL YOU... THEY SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OFF! I am not exaggerating when I say these were some of the MOST GORGEOUS wedding flowers I have EVER seen! The bridesmaids' bouquets were absolutely STUNNING! The ceremony flowers were BREATHTAKING! Every arrangement was beautiful, elegant, fresh, and looked like it belonged in a luxury wedding magazine! And here's what impressed me even more. We made a conscious decision NOT to spend a small fortune on flowers. We wanted beautiful, classy, elegant arrangements without blowing the wedding budget on something that would only last a few days. And you know what? They treated our wedding like we had spent a FORTUNE! There was no pressure to spend more, no making us feel like our budget wasn't enough, and absolutely no compromise in how beautiful the flowers turned out. They listened to what we wanted, worked within our budget, and delivered something far beyond our expectations. And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to the mystery florist in Oklahoma who actually created these masterpieces! We don't even know her name, so unfortunately, I can't give her the credit she deserves. But I certainly hope Poppy uses her OVER AND OVER again because her work was absolutely SPECTACULAR! I genuinely could not have been happier. The flowers were one of the most beautiful parts of the entire wedding, and that's saying something because this wedding was GORGEOUS! So, to all the brides and mothers of the bride out there wondering if you should take a chance on ordering wedding flowers online... DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Who knew that one random social media post could lead to some of the most spectacular flowers we've ever seen?! 10 STARS! ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! And to the entire Poppy team and our mystery Oklahoma florist, THANK YOU for proving that you don't have to spend a fortune to have a wedding that looks like a million bucks!

I had 2 boutonniere flowers, 2 bouquets, 15 tables worth of bud vases, 10 groups of fruits, sweetheart table flowers, and 2 ceremony flowers and a welcome table ikebana for around $3.6k. I knew I was going to preserve my flowers, so having real ones for my bouquet and my bridesmaids was important, and with Poppy, definitely doable. I also sprung for arch decor to be repurposed for the reception and after seeing my ceremony space on the day of - was so glad I did. The timeline for payments and when details needed to be finalized was clearly communicated, and I liked the pay-by-month option instead of making huge payments at times when other vendors were getting paid as well - it definitely helped to spread out the payments. My only constructive feedback was that some of the flowers (bouquets, corsages, flower girl hair and petals) were not delivered to the requested location, but rather to a central one, so we needed our planner to deliver to where we were getting ready for photos. Otherwise my experience was easy, and the flowers were beautiful and as requested!

biggest issue was that my bridal bouquet and my husband's boutonniere arrived over an hour late on our wedding day. Because these are essential for portraits, we were unable to begin taking photos on time, which delayed our entire timeline and ultimately caused us to arrive late to our own reception. While the company did provide a discount afterward, the delay created unnecessary stress on what should have been a seamless day. There were also several details that were not executed as agreed upon. I had specifically requested a gold ring handle for my bridal bouquet, but it was delivered with a silver ring instead. While the bouquet itself was beautiful, this was a detail we had discussed in advance and I was disappointed it was overlooked. The welcome sign florals were also very different from what was described in the proposal and shown in the inspiration images. The top arrangement was supposed to gracefully arch over the top of the mirror, but instead it was placed in a dense cluster in the center with the mounting hook clearly visible. Because of this, my decorator was unable to add our initials to the mirror as planned. The bottom arrangement was also significantly smaller than expected—the proposal indicated it would be about two feet wide, but it appeared to be closer to one foot. I understand that floral arrangements won't look identical to inspiration photos, but the final installation differed enough from the agreed-upon design and dimensions that it was disappointing. I appreciate that the company acknowledged the delivery delay and offered a discount, and I hope this feedback is taken as constructive so future couples don't experience similar issues. The flowers were beautiful, but the late delivery and failure to execute several agreed-upon details made this experience fall short of what we expected for our wedding day.

shed to use their preset arrangements rather than getting a truly custom design as you would with a traditional florist, which I didn't realize prior to booking. I feel I lead the direction of all the design and didn't get much input - I gave inspo pics, listed types of flowers, and made all the mock ups myself. I didn't really get feedback beyond "so cute!" About 2 months out from the wedding, the designer stopped responding to me. I messaged her through the portal, emailed customer service, even DM'd them on Instagram and was blown off. This was extremely stressful and it took ~15 attempts at contact for someone in another department to confirm they even still had my wedding on their books. Approx. 6 weeks out, the designer said that she was extremely concerned about using hydrangeas due to potential heat.... My florals had been majority hydrangea designs from the very beginning of booking Poppy, so it's unbelievable that this issue came up in the 11th hour. After dropping this bombshell she cancelled our final meeting! I had to push hard to even get a new meeting scheduled to try to find a solution. I gave 2 starts because ultimately the local florist they hired did a good job, and the flowers looked nice. But the stress of dealing with them was absolutely not worth it, wish I would have just hired a local florist. Poppy is a large company and functions as a broker, so you have no idea if you'll work with someone good or not, versus as local florist who has actual reviews about their personal work. They asked me for feedback afterward and I gave them all of the above. Reviews swayed me a lot in my wedding research so I wanted to share my experience.

m investment of like $5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)
