r trial, she delivered flawless results, which shows her incredible talent and attention to detail! Booking without a trial can be nerve-wrecking, but leading up (and day of) she made me feel at ease and truly made my wedding hair dreams come to life! I received countless compliments and it stayed from 10:30am to Midnight. Even with a veil on for over 4 hours - it still stayed pristine. I wish I could wear my hair like this everyday, because I truly have never felt so beautiful. Thank you Kim, for being such an integral part of my wedding day! 🫶

e team was professional, attentive, and incredibly talented. Kim expertly managed the scheduling of the artists and ensured that my payment schedule was seamless; her attention to detail made the entire process stress-free. I also want to give a shoutout to Hannah, who worked magic on fixing the hair of all my female attendants. Last but not least, I HAVE to mention the marvelous Krystal—not only did she do everyone's makeup on the day, she also crafted a truly show-stopping bridal updo for me, complete with live flowers and fall foliage. On the day of the wedding, Krystal and Hannah arrived to the venue on time and worked well together. It made for a relaxed, friendly environment that helped ease any of my lingering pre-wedding jitters. Everyone I worked with who is affiliated with Poetically Brushed showed an amazing level of detail and care, and I would highly recommend them to any bride who is planning a wedding in the greater DMV area.

life. She expertly combined my various inspiration photos into a custom look that felt uniquely me. I received countless compliments, and my hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the hot summer night. Emmy did a wonderful job making our moms, who never get their makeup professionally done, feel beautiful! Although there were a couple of emails that went unanswered, Kim was overall responsive and great to work with. Her skills and creativity far outweighed any minor communication hiccups. The team was super punctual, arriving to the venue early and ensuring we stuck to their clear and organized timeline to have everyone ready right on time for photos. I highly recommend Kim and Emmy for any bridal hair and makeup needs!

c and my hair and makeup lasted all night long. She was so responsive and easy to work with as well.

to life! I wanted a natural glam makeup looks with braids and curls with some celestial themed accessories for my hair. She did an amazing job! I honestly have never felt more beautiful than I did on that day. My makeup and hair lasted all day and night through sweat, dancing, rain, and wind! It was my first time having airbrushed makeup done and I could not recommend it more of a wedding day! Also, some of my bridesmaids had natural curly hair and Kim & Laura did a great job of styling! Throughout my bridesmaids getting ready whenever they had any questions (which a lot of them don't wear makeup often so they had some) they did a great job of explaining what everything does and what they were doing and even offering tips that the girls can bring into their everyday style! I loved working with Kim & Laura for my big day and recommend then to any bride in the DMV area!

ferences carefully. My mom in particular was very hesitant about getting her makeup done (she normally doesn't wear any), but she was very happy with how hers turned out. Everybody looked beautiful! Kim, the owner and coordinator, was very helpful during the planning process, and I liked how organized everything was. I definitely loved working with Laura: her calmness really helped and she listened to my preferences during the trial as well as the day of. Highly recommend doing a trial for sure.

rial completely changed my mind. Kim has an eye for that effortless beauty look I wanted, and I so appreciated having an artist who really knew how to handle sensitive skin. She did an amazing job creating a hairstyle that I loved, and I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself on our wedding day!

very beginning, Kim was responsive and extremely helpful. I had a great experience during my hair and makeup trial. There were a few changes we made for my day of style and it truly was everything I could want. Kim was so sweet and I would recommend her to anyone.

t. I definitely recommend doing a trial before the day of, Kim did great and remembered the feedback I gave at the trial on the day of. You will look beautiful on your wedding day if you book Kim and her team at Poetically Brushed!
